Hmmm... If we just ask for it then we could probably find something else to help us..
I whispered softly, "Hello, could anyone help us here?" and waited for a response.
I heard a phoenix cry, and wings flapping. I felt it land on my shoulder. "At your service, Prince Hoon." it bowed a little.
"Thank you for helping us, is there a way to get light in here?" I asked.
"Yes, here you go." it blew fire onto three torches that I didn't even see..
"Thank you phoenix."
We walked forward into the cave and right away we ran into three pathways.
"Which way shall we go?" Kevin asked out loud.
"You walk as if you read. If you walk the way you read, your journey will be over." Dara's sweet singsong voice was back, but I was sure I could detect a hint of venom in it.
"She liesss.." the phoenix said. "You have to walk the way Americans read. Not the way we do."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Hoon, we read from right to left. I'm sure there was more pathway forks in fact, there's probably two more isn't there, phoenix?" AJ asked.
"Yes, there is.."
"So if we go from the way we read it would be right pathway then middle then left. But phoenix says Dara is lying. We should go the way Americans read. They read from left to right. So we should go left, middle and then right." AJ said but he also seemed to ask the phoenix to make sure he was right.
"Yes, that is correct, Prince AJ." the phoenix said.
"Great, let's go!" I led the way, with our phoenix friend on my shoulder.

They aren't supposed to get help!!
They're supposed to figure out for themselves!!!

Dara seemed even angrier than she did earlier.
She's probably mad that we figured out the riddles so quickly..
