Description
Chanyeol is 23 years old today. He doesn't know why he thought it'd be different, feel different, or why he's still clinging onto the childish notion that being one year older changes anything. He doesn't know how he even manages to be that optimistic, when the past 23 years have all been equal parts that make up a monotonously steady life.
Baekhyun is 23, and he's been that old for six months, if the shelter he lives in is correct about his date of birth. He supposes they must be, considering he was among the first batch of pet hybrids to be born. His health was too poor when he was young for him to be adopted, and he seems to have missed his chance. Little does he know that today his life (and his new owner's) is going to be turned upside down.
Foreword
After almost a year I'm finally writing something new. However this time it's Exo instead of Seventeen, so I apologize if you came from my other fic but you aren't interested in this subject matter.
Anyway, as you might have figured out, this is about puppy-hybrid!Baekhyun and regular-person!Chanyeol. My writing is pretty rusty and this idea has been played out a billion times, but hey... maybe it will turn out good! You'll have to read to find out >;)
There will be a snippet of lyrics from a k-indie song at the beginning of each chapter. Sometimes I might choose it because the lyrics fit well or even inspired me for the chapter, and sometimes it was just what I enjoyed listening to as I wrote. Either way, I recommend listening to the song for maximum enjoyment!
Lastly, I am not sure yet if there's going to be , so... yeah. We'll see where it goes! You can let me know in the comments if you'd like there to be some, but just know it'll be near the end if there is any.
