"What are you doing in front of that bulletin board?" Mingyu asked his step brother that is carefully reading all the posters pinned in front of him.

Minghao remains reading all those club invitations. He is still adjusting his life and tries to find a good club to join. While browsing, there's a club poster gets his attention. It was an idol club and they were looking for a good singers and a good dancers.

"Mingyu, do you have any club here?" 

Mingyu shakes his head, "I don't have time for that".

Mingyu wasn't interested on having a club or even having a friends around the university. He is contented being alone, taking the school seriously and that's it. 

Being a popular student, Mingyu always felt that people are only doing things for him because they wanted to ride on his popularity. He is very aware of being popular but he didn't want to be one. Why did he know about this? Simple, every step of his way, people are always calling his name and it is annoying for him.

Since when he's younger, he wanted to be appreciated not because of his looks. He wanted to do things that people will appreciate him and not because of his godly looks.

All of his life, he tried to be a good student and a good son. He excels a lot in academics yet in the end people will praise him because of his appearance. He is also an excellent athlete and again people ended up appreciating his appearance.

Mingyu became the equivalent of perfection minus his attitude towards others. How can an intelligent and sporty guy becomes so handsome too? 

It is understandable and fair if only Mingyu is good at school but the perfection didn't end at school. Mingyu's mom died when his younger that's why he tried to do things on his own. Growing up with his dad only, he learned to cook so well. Actually, cook so well is an understatement on how he does something in kitchen. 

But Mingyu never treats people good. He acts like no one is around him until his step brother came. 

Minghao became his best friend and his brother. If there's one that knows everything about Mingyu, that is only Minghao.

"Mingyu, now that I'm with you. I'll help you to have some friends" Minghao said, "You should join some clubs here."

"Excuse me, Minghao. I should be the one helping you to have friends. You are a heavy introvert and I don't think that you can help me about it and I don't need friends because you are here now" Mingyu responded, "You're the only friend I need".

Minghao smiles at Mingyu. He is right. Minghao can't do anything about it and Minghao is always thankful for Mingyu's existence. 

"What about the guy you have a crush on? Is he here also?" Minghao asked.

Mingyu blushes when hearing those question to Minghao.

Mingyu doesn't like to be called his name by people who adores him. It was always an annoying experience for him when people calls him randomly. 

But there's a guy that seems like destiny always doing things just to made them meet evertime. He doesn't know if it was only an accident but to be honest he was always surprised because everywhere he goes that guy will pop out somewhere. He understands if that guy is stalking him like the others but he never saw this guy looks at him or called him like his other stalkers. 

"So, am I right? Is he here?"

Minghao is very happy to know that the guy that Mingyu like since when he was in elementary is in the university too. Minghao heard a lot of things with this guy.

Mingyu isn't the type to impress people that's why excelling to school and sports are always because he wanted to be appriciated in the sence that he isn't not boasting it to others. Until this certain guy with a fox eye came to his way. He did a lot more better to his grades and tried to join almost all the sports club and yet the guy seems like didn't appreciate it. 

Everything Mingyu does is somehow for himself and for that fox eyed guy. He does everything just to be notice by the guy but in the end the guy isn't paying attention to him. Until Mingyu became contented that the guy is always around him only, even though that the guy will never notice him and hoping that someday the guy will notice him.

"You should level up your game Mingyu!" Minghao rested his hand on Mingyu's shoulder, "You must join a club where people will notice you more. I know you aren't the type of guy to tell someone his feelings that's why you should choose your club carefully".

"...ehem!"

Out of the blue someone came out in their back. Minghao almost hit his back on the bulletin board while Mingyu remains still as if nothing had happened.

"I heard you wanted to be in the club and to be honest we in the idol club were scouting you, Kim Mingyu" A guy with a buffed body said, "By the way my name is Seungcheol and I promise you. With the way you looks, you'll be notice by anyone".

Mingyu rolls his eyes. Again, the idol club will only concentrate on his looks and the is last thing he wants so it's a big no for him.

"Not interested!"

Mingyu immediately walks out. Minghao said sorry to Seungcheol while bowing his head before he follows his brother.

"Mingyu?"

Mingyu heard his brother calling him but he doesn't want to talk about that club and the way his brother calling him, he is very sure that this conversation will be that idol club. If it'll be about his looks, he is definitely sure about his answer. It will only and always be a NO.

Minghao holds his brother wrist to stop him from walking. The latter stops his phase and face his brother.

"Minghao, it'll be NO. I'm not interested" Mingyu said it with his blank expression.

Minghao sighs longer than the usual. This is his brother and if there is someone knows how his brother has a hard head, it'll be him.

"Do you know that I love to be part of an idol group since I was a kid" Minghao said. 

Mingyu nods his head, "You should be the one joining".

Minghao shakes his head, "I'm not sure about it. Look, I'm a ing shy of everything. I'm not confident to be one. And look at you Mingyu, you have the looks and I know you have excessive confidence in yourself. I want you to be part of it. I'll be your number one fan in case you'll be popular".

Mingyu loves it when Minghao shows him affection like this. But he doesn't want to be part of a thing that only needs his appearance. Again, it'll be NO.

"Besides, you can prove them wrong that you're only have your face. Show them that you have talents! Show them that Kim Mingyu isn't a display and you have substance" Minghao smiles and pinches Mingyu's cheek, "and show them what's inside your heart".

Mingyu pulls Minghao's hand, "Stop it! I don't want to be part of it and that's period, end of conversation".

Minghao shrugs his shoulder, "Fine, it'll be your loss. Remember being an idol, people will follow you more in short you can show your other side and in that sense that Fox eyed guy will know you more".

Mingyu freezes after hearing those phrases. Minghao is so right. This maybe will his last straw. If this won't work, he will move on. 

"Fine! I will try it!"

Mingyu quickly goes to the rehearsal studio and he picks his head towards the glass door. He checks first what the members are doing. He looks further and his eyes met a small guy that is playing a piano. He is really good at it while a blond guy is dancing on whatever the small guy is playing on the piano. The moves are great for Mingyu's taste.

Suddenly, someone taps his back and he almost hit his face on the glass door. When he changes his gaze to the guy, it's the same guy that invited him to be part of the club, Seungcheol.

"Uhm..."

Seungcheol pulls Mingyu and even Mingyu wanted to fight with it and pulls his wrist, the guy is so much stronger than him. And he finds himself standing in front of the two other members of the club.

"Guys, I think we have a new member" Seungcheol said, "Our fourth member, Kim Mingyu".

"Uhm... Nice to meet you all, I guess?" 

Mingyu can't explain it but he feels happy being part of it. 

"I'm Kim Mingyu, the fourth member of this club" he said very confidently.
