The little boy with thick eyebrows and brunette hair entering the home while fuming. Trailing behind, his babysitter tried so hard to convince the little boy but failed

“What happened, Wendy?” an old woman came from the kitchen

“I think Jason was mad” Wendy shook her head “He was bullied by his classmates”

“About what?”

“About why his parent never fetched or picked him up from kindergarten” Wendy sighed and put her body at the couch “Arthur and I tried so hard for calming him but nothing”

“Talk to Mrs. Jessica and Mr. Taecyeon after this” her Mom, Mrs. Son sighed “I will prepare for the dinner, they will arrive within minutes. Tell Arthur to come for dinner”

“Yes, Mom”

When Jessica and Taecyeon arrived from the office, they greeted by a worry look from Wendy. She explained the reason why Jason locked himself at his room since afternoon

“Thanks, Wendy. Make sure you and Arthur not skipping the dinner. We will eat later” said Taecyeon when Jessica already strides to her son’s room

“Jason, Mom is coming inside” said Jessica while opened the door. The five-year-old boy buried himself under the thick blanket

“Jason…” Jessica patted Jason’s body when Taecyeon takes a seat beside her

“Dude, are you okay?” Taecyeon asked playfully

“Hmm, I’m not feeling well” Jason mumbled

“Baby, talk to us” Jessica insisted

“Why? For what? My friends said that Wendy and Arthur are my parent instead of you” Jason mumbled again and makes Taecyeon wider his eyes. He was about to scold his son when Jessica holds his hand and leaned closer to Jason

“Look at me, Jason. We might be very busy and not having so much time for accompanying you at school like others. But you know that we love you so much, right?”

“I know, Mom” Jason’s voice creaked. He’s crying “I just want to showing you guys to my friends, so that they stop saying about me having no real parents”

Taecyeon pulled the blanket, taking Jason to his embrace when the little boy crying harder. Taecyeon caressed his back when Jessica kissed his hair

“My little hero doesn’t cry because of them. Let your Dad giving them punishment!” said Taecyeon. Jason is chuckling between his cry and makes Jessica also giggled

“Why are you suddenly feels like that, Jason?” Jessica asked when Jason finally reducing his cry

“Because I envy, Mom. Their mother always accompanying them from the start until the school is finished. They always looking at me. Wendy said that it’s okay but I heard some of my friends said if my parent never had a concern to me”

“I’m sorry” Jessica kissed Jason’s cheek “Let’s having dinner, Baby. You must be hungry”

Jason looking at Jessica and nodded. He was hoping that his Mom might be moved because he just crying a mess on his Dad’s embrace but her Mom remain the same. Still cold as usual even though Jason knew his Mom loves him so much. What can five-year-old boy could imagine if their parent are the directors of a big company and having dinner at the home should be pleasant thing for him

But, as the five-year-old boy, Jason just hoping that his parent would spare more time with him instead of spoiling him so much.

Taecyeon looking aside at his wife. She gave Taecyeon her back but he knows that Jessica still awake

“Sicababy…”

“Hmm?”

“How about we fetch Jason to his school tomorrow?”

“…”

“We don’t have important meeting on the morning. SO, it would be okay if we come a little bit late”

“Taec…”

“Yeah?” Taecyeon extended his arms to hug Jessica. He slowly kissing Jessica’s hair and the woman just hummed

“Did I do wrong? To Jason?”

“No. But, usually son will be closer to his Mom rather than his Dad”

“He used to be protective toward me” Jessica slowly smiled “Do you remember when he’s getting angry at you?”

“He was” Taecyeon chuckled “He’s so funny when still a baby”

“Taec…” Jessica turned her body to face Taecyeon “I hope I’m not a bad Mom for Jason”

“You are the best” Taecyeon leans closer to kiss Jessica

Comes the morning and they are having breakfast. Jason and Taecyeon is playing with their bread, leaving Jessica shook her head

“Taec, don’t play around. Jason, finish your milk” said Jessica which stopped the boys

“Mom…” Jason hesitated for a while when his Mom drifted her eyes from her phone to him “Dad said that, you will fetch me to the school?”

“Yes” it’s all Jessica’s answer. She missed how the five-year-old boy slowly tugging a smile and happily eating his breakfast

Taecyeon also tugging a little smile while doing high five with his son. Even though Jessica still remain cold, the simple answer actually their happiness

Jason couldn’t hide his wide smile when Jessica fixed his coat as soon as he hoped down from the car. She even fixed his hat and patted his shoulder before took his hand and walking with Taecyeon to his classroom

Taecyeon on the other side feels like the entire school are eyeing them, especially group of mother who always accompanying their children until finished their school time. They are gossiping, Taecyeon is sure about that

“Is your tie very tight?” Jessica suddenly asked when they almost reached the building

“Ah, no” Taecyeon beamed a wide smile while passing by some fathers. They looking at Jessica with their wide eyes and almost drooling

“Jason!” looks like his homeroom teacher greeted them “Ah, Mr. Ok and Mrs. Ok”

“Hi, umh, Ms. Seulgi, right?” Taecyeon makes a knot with his eyebrows

“Yes” Seulgi nodded “What a moment, usually Jason was with Wendy and Arthur”

“Ah, it’s okay Miss. We had more time for today” said Jessica “Jason, you should go to your class”

“Mom…” Jason tugging on Jessica’s arm “Kiss?”

“You already…” her words were but by Taecyeon nudged her arm, signaling Jessica for being sweet to their son “Come here”

Jessica kneeled down and pecked Jason’s cheeks, when the younger boy also kissed Jessica’s forehead. Taecyeon giggled seeing Jessica wider her eyes after Jason pecked her forehead, he raised his hand to have a high five with Jason

“Be a good boy, Jason. Arthur and Wendy will meet you at lunch later” said Jessica in her low tone. Jason nodded, but still smiling widely to his Mom. Whatever his Mom could be cold, he still adores her beauty

“See you, Mom! Dad!” Jason waved his arms and running into his class

“I never see Jason would be so happy like that” Seulgi smiled
