After two weeks of staying here in Seoul, Xander oppa and his family already flew to Portugal. Even though they stayed for a very short time, they gave me encouraging words to be alive again. And most especially, they taught me how to trust and love myself again.

Weeks had passed and I decided to get back to work. Cindy and the rest of my staff helped me to bring the life in Smiles and Blossoms again. We thought of more promotions and to help my employees grow, I helped them to have a free training for floral arrangement, so at least, if I'm not around they could still take care of our customers (I got this idea when I met Yani in Japan -- she inspired me).

I feel good for all these changes and I learn to put myself back together after all these pain and sorrow I have felt. Thanks to those people who helped me to get over it – to Cindy, So-yi and Hyemi, Xander oppa and his loving family…and to this guy who didn’t break his promise.

“Wow, another rose and a letter?” Cindy asked as she caught me holding a red rose and a letter on my hand inside my office.

“Yup. This is like the 90th rose….” I said.

Well, Kevin has been sending me a rose and a letter for almost 3 months now. Each rose has a note that always comes along with it. The note is rather short and sweet. “I love you”, “Keep on smiling”, “You’re the most beautiful girl in this world”… and other mushy lines that you could think of -- he already sent one for sure. I have no idea how long he’s going to keep this up but, admittedly, it’s working.

“Is he planning to run his flower shop? Or does he own a flower farm?  Hmm… that’s not good for your business, Lhian.” I laughed uncontrollably with what she said.

“Cindy, I can’t believe that you could still think about it.”

“I’m just kidding, you know. Anyway, what did he write this time? It looks longer than the first ones.”

“Well, I think it’s a song.”

“Yeah, but I think it would be more romantic if he actually sings it.” I said.

"Why don't you call him, then?" as she nudged me and giggled.

"Of course I couldn't do that..." I snapped with just the thought of it.

"Lhian, it's been three months now. Does he have a chance or what? I think it's about time to end his long wait..."

"Cindy, you know my answer to that." I just kept quiet for a while before I continued, "...but I think you're right, I think it's about time." and I smiled.

Cindy's face brightened up with what I said. "Jinjja? Oh my! That's a good thing... why don't you invite him on your birthday? Like ask him out for a dinner date?" she said excitedly.

"Should I really do that? Wouldn't that be awkward?"

"Of course not. Make it sound like you're just inviting him, like a little casual."

Should I really invite him? But anyway, he's been waiting for a long time so I guess it's about time to give it him... the chance he's been asking from me.

Kevin

"Kevin, you've been doing it for three months, do you have any good news for us?" as Eli asked while sitting lazily on my office couch.

"Good news? What do you mean?"

"Come on, you know what I mean. Sending a rose each day, writing a note with a "cheesy" line -- aren't you getting tired of it?" and he smirked.

"You've been doing it for like 90 days now and with those 90 days I think I already had 3 girlfriends." Kiseop added as he sat next Eli on the couch.

"Aish these two... I'm not like you guys, okay? My heart only belongs to one girl." I just smiled with what they said.

For these past 3 months, I've been doing what I've promised to Xander hyung and Allie noona. The promise to make Lhian smile every day and I literally have been doing it since they left. Sending her a rose and a sweet note – just like what she did when we were in high school. Sometimes, I also visit her in Smiles and Blossoms to see her. After my confession, we remain friends. I didn’t ask her about what she really feels for me, but I told her that I could wait as long as she wants me to – until she gives me a chance.

“Wow! I really admire your “loyalty” Kevin…” Kiseop said while Eli just laughed with him.

“You guys, I’m telling you this – one day, you’ll meet this girl who will make you realize what you guys are missing out on.”  I said.

“But seriously Kevin…” Eli stood up from the couch and walked towards my desk, “… it’s been three months now. You know, they say that if a person just came from a break up that person has three months to move on and find another love. For these three months, Lhian hasn’t shown any signs yet.” He was more serious this time.

His question also made me think.

“… I just want to make sure that you’re not just waiting for nothing.” As he continued.

“Eli, 3 months, 6 months or 3 years – I don’t care. I’m willing to wait until forever.” I said confidently as I faced him.

“That’s what I like about you Kevin, you don’t know how to give up.” Kiseop said as he tapped my shoulder.

“But when will you know if it’s already enough? Or when will you stop all of these?” Eli continued to ask.

“Once she says that she loves me too…” I said but there was a question behind my head. What if that time never comes? What if she could never learn to love me anymore?

“I have an idea!” Kiseop exclaimed excitedly. “What if you test her, I mean, try to be away from her in a week and see if she would miss you. In that way, we would be able to tell if she already has feelings for you.”

“The “Missing you” test? That’s a good idea Kiseop.” Eli added.

“But wait, I can’t do that. How about my plan of sending her a rose and a note every day?”

“Don’t worry about it Kevin. We’ll take good care of that! Just trust us with this one, because we do have better plans.” Kiseop assured me with this plastered grin on his face.

“And besides, you mentioned about your business trip in Paris, right? That’s a good reason, so at least you don’t have to lie.” Eli said.

“But that’s only for one day and Dee noona is actually the one who’s going there.”

“Then stay for a longer time… Kevin, just trust us okay?”

I don’t feel good about this but I think I should really let them this time.

Suddenly, my phone rang…

“Yoboseyo?”

“Hey, Kevin!”

“Oh, Lhian!” my heart got excited when I heard her sweet voice. I suddenly shooed the two guys out of my office so I could talk to Lhian privately.

“Hi! I hope I didn’t disturb you.”

“No, no…of course, you didn’t! What made you call?”

“Well, I just want to invite you tomorrow. It’s my birthday – if you remember?”

“Oh yes, I do remember…” I just couldn’t put this smile out of my face, but wait she said wanted to INVITE me? “Wait a minute? Invite me?” I asked again for clarification.

“Yes! Ahm, I don’t know what to do tomorrow, so maybe you can join me. I also want to tell you something.” She said.

Omo! Is she this what I’ve been waiting for?

“Su-sure! Of I course.”

“Alright! See you tomorrow.”

Tomorrow. This is it! But what about Eli and Kiseop’s plan?
