Park Ga Eul is your typical nerd. Not nerd with thick-framed glasses, braided hair and ahjumma clothes. Instead, she's academically inclined and cares so much about her studies and the achievements she gets. Even dubbed as the over-achiever, Ga Eul can't help but agree. She knows herself she is indeed an over-achiever who grew up believing that it's her duty to make her parents proud, whatever it takes.

Kim Jongin, or Kai as he likes, is your typical bad boy who does what he wants. He's often reckless of things and doesn't care of other's opinion of but but Krystal's. He is a boyfriend of Krystal and he just wants to be the best he is when it comes to her. That's when his pal Ga Eul comes, she who helps him bring out the best in him for Krystal.

Jung Soojung , or Krystal, is the perfect girl out there and is Ga Eul's best friend and cousin. She's an eomchindal and everyone just admires her. She's been in a relationship with Kai for almost 3 years but insists on keeping it a secret to her family and she conspires with Ga Eul to help her keep the secret from their family.
