talking to the moon

Description

Soulmate Au // Daehyun has always longed for his soulmate since the age of 3 when the date he meets his soulmate and his soulmate's surname appeared, meaning his soulmate was born. Finally, he meets him but not in the way he expected.

Foreword

♦︎ Soulmates were found 90% of the time, depending on the chances and how hard the person looked for their soulmate. The universe is nice enough to include the date of when the person meets their soulmate, and their surname to makes it easier for them to unite, but not the place they meet.
When a person's soulmate is born or already born, the date they meet their soulmate is imprinted into a visible body part, as well as the soulmate's surname. Once a person finds their soulmate the date and name glows and stays golden for the rest of their lives.
But when the person who has found their soulmate dies, the date and name does not glow any longer. If a person who has not found their soulmate yet and their soulmate dies, it is the same. The date of time and name fades away over time and they are left with simply nothing, their soulmate is gone.
Because of this, suicide is a common thing for the 10% who have not found their soulmate and for people who have lost their soulmates, who believe they have nothing to live for anymore. ♦︎
