Taemin loved music but he resented this pop culture of idolizing idol and spending your entire money to buy merchandises instead of appreciating the music more. Taemin listened to most of the songs of the currently promoting musicians from the streaming sites but he didnt’t watch music shows on TV, he couldn’t even remember the name of Girls’ Generation’s members. But again, he loved music.

Taemin knew Jonghyun from the girls in his class. They described Jonghyun, as Taemin quoted “Handsome and really hot”. Even so, Taemin didn’t have any intention to look up for this “handsome and really hot” Jonghyun on internet.  Even after he listened to Jonghyun’s newest single in the clothing store he visited.

At first he didn’t know it was Jonghyun’s voice until few girls giggled and mentioned Jonghyun’s name. Taemin admitted, this Jonghyun’s voice was really good. And even so, he didn’t have any intention to look up for the singer.

Few days later, Taemin went to the mall to meet his friends. He didn’t really like going to the mall because everything in the mall was so pricey and his parents didn’t gave them that much money. Despite his preference, Taemin still went to the mall in sake of meeting his friends.

Taemin took the elevator to the food court, he was alone before someone opened the door again. The guy who opened the door was somewhat shorter than Taemin, he noticed. The guy also wore black clothes, it made him blend in the sea of human in the mall. Apparently, Taemin and the other guy were going to the same floor.

After few seconds, the elevator suddenly stopped. Both of them are surprised by the situation. The guy pressed the emergency button to no avail. Taemin tried to call his friends but there was no reception inside the elevator. To sum it all, Taemin was stuck inside the elevator with the guy he didn’t even know.

In Taemin’s mind, he was imagining about getting killed by this guy. Even though it was less likely to happen but there was still a chance. Much to Taemin’s chagrin, the other guy sensed his worry.

“I’m scared too, you know” he said. Somehow, his voice reminded Taemin of something that he just couldn’t wrap his head on.

“what if they forget about us here?” Taemin asked timidly.

The other guy shrugged “I don’t know. They probably don’t though”

“okay”

There was another 10 minutes of silence before the speaker in the elevator said they were working on fixing the elevator but it’d take another 30 minutes.
