Minho hated it when his mom told him to do errands. First, the weather was really hot outside, second, why couldn’t his mom ask his brother to do it instead?

“Choi Minho if you don’t move from your bed in 5 seconds, I will unsubscribe the wifi service” his mom yelled from the kitchen. Hearing the word wifi, Minho instantly stood up and ran to his mom. Minho’s mom always threat to unsubscribe the wifi service to get through with her wish. It worked for Minho, because Minho practically lived in the internet.

“yes mother, your son is here for his mother’s service” Minho bowed mockingly, his mom rolled her eyes at her youngest son’s action.

“Ahhh my youngest is really nice to help her mom to do errands.” Minho’s mom patted her son’s shoulder before handling a piece of paper and some amount of money. It was a grocery list. “Anyway, here’s the list of things to buy and you can keep the change.”

Minho cheered joyfully before storming upstairs to get change. Few minutes later, he was all set. Before went out from the house, he counted the money and estimated the amount of money he would spend. “Wait a minute. Mom!!!!! It’s only enough to buy a lollipop!!!” he yelled angrily. Minho swore he could hear his mom’s chuckles from the kitchen.

The convenience store just two blocks away from his house. So, after few minutes of walking and occasionally grumbling and pebble-kicking, Minho arrived at the convenience store. The blast of AC hit him on his first step at the store, it made him wanted to just lie down right there and then but he came to his senses quickly.

It wasn’t his first time coming to the store, he went there at least twice a week so it wasn’t a surprise that all the employees knew him and vice versa. All of them, except the new face on the fruit section.  Minho took notice how the new face was shorter than him (also he smelled so good, unlike the rotten fruits the new face was sorting through before) as Minho was hovering the new face while asking for his help to weight the apples.

“It’s few grams under 1 kg sir, you want to add some more?”  the new face told Minho. It was only then that Minho could really look at the new face’s face. Wow he was even more handsome up close, Minho thought.

“No, that’s fine” Minho answered. “I’m a regular here but I’ve never seen you before”
