Alone
StrangerUnwanted. Hated. Despised. Despite his adorable looks and amazingly brilliant mind, everyone around him treated him like trash, like he did nothing good at all, as if he was just a nuisance in front of their eyes. Although he's a loving child, he had no family, and even if he had one, he never felt like having one. But even so, he never stopped being kind to others. He's just like a gold ore, fully covered in dirt, waiting for someone to discover him beneath and turn him into his full potential, waiting to rise up and reflect the sun's light with his radiance.
Waiting for the bell to ring, he stared at the clock on the wall blankly until someone caught his attention. "Mr. Lee! It seems that you're too excited to go home.", his professor shouted when she noticed the student looking very bored. "But since you're already done with the activity, then you can go ahead.", she added. He hurriedly packed his things and as he was walking towards the door, his classmate said to him in a very soft voice so as not to let their teacher hear him, "Howon-ah, can you give me the answer for this number? It's very hard." "Hey Mr. Nam, you think I can't hear you? Continue answering, you'll never learn if you keep on asking. And you, Mr. Lee, just go home allready.", their teacher exclaimed. "Yes ma'am, I'm so sorry.", Howon replied and went out the room.
While he was walking along the busy street going to the restaurant where he currently works part-time, his phone suddenly vibrated. He looked at his phone and remembered that it's his day-off today. "Phew, I'm so thankful to the first owner of this phone for selling this to me in a very affordable price. It really helps having a reminder like this.", he exhaled. As he was about to put his phone back to his pocket it vibrated again and another reminder popped up, "Too bad of me. I'm sorry mom, I almost forgot that it's your birthday.". He continued walking and turned to the other street instead of going straight to the restaurant. "I think I've been too stressed that I forgot a lot of things lately. Ah,
