Chapter 2: So Called "Friendly Date?"

XiuMin’s POV

I was so excited for our upcoming blind date, We secretly set up everything with SeulGi’s help, We made a scenario the there is a schoolmate of SeulGi that wants to meet MoonByul. She was not good with the idea of having a blind date as SeulGi reported to us, She said that MoonByul is very conservative, She doesn’t easily trust people and she has confidence issue when it comes to new people she met, which surprise me to know since she was very good in their performance, And with that made me more determine to know her, Well, I see somehow myself from her, quiet, shy and weird sometimes. We will be comfortable to each other since we are very much alike, And no one knows maybe we can end up together. I have her number already but I didn’t say my real name yet, Who really am I, I don’t want to freak her out or made her think that I’m just playing with her or whatnot, We must admit, that belonging to a group of guys adore by all will really make you scared knowing how our beloved fans supports us, So dating us will surely be the last option you’ll take. 

I send her a text message and reminding our “Friendly Date” later. She did replied a simple text of “See You.”, Simple but make my heart pound like a fool, It means she was looking forward too in our meeting, I don’t want to burst my own bubbles rather thinking the negative I choose to believe the latter. I wore a simple yet boyish style that will surely brush her off in her feet, She too have great sense of fashion, call me a stalker but i adore her boyish yet comfy style too. Sometimes when i look at her pictures on the internet, Yes, We do look alike but as you look to her longer, She has this beauty that I can’t describe, Her eyes are charming, Her pointed nose, Her chubby cheeks, and her Small pink lips, Oh here  I am again fanboying on Korea’s National Girl Crush. I sprayed my D&G perfume and check myself once again in the mirror, I look fantastic though, I got my phone and wallet, My face mask before i went too the parking lot and drove my sports car to our meeting place

I drove 2:30 hours, We decided to meet outside Seoul since, We are both celebrities and She is the one who decided since she thought that she will be in big trouble if media caught her seeing a non-showbiz person, Well as you remember I introduce myself as SeulGi’s senior in her high school, good thing it was winter, and the day we decided to meet is not that crowded since it just Wednesday, and its almost midnight, as I arrived to the place, It was cozy, private and secluded from the city, good thing the workers are quite old, at least they will not take advantage of us if ever they recall or remember our faces, Her manager booked the place, So the store close early so we can have our private meeting, the windows are close, curtains cover the store that gave us privacy, She was seated in the most corner of the store, the only lit lights on the store, Ahjumma led the way where she is, All i see is her back view, She is wearing a snapback of course and a black sweater. My steps are quite heavy as i walked to our table

“AnYeongHaseYo MoonByul-ssi.” I greeted her, my voice was quite inaudible since I’m wearing a mask

She looked away from the lit candle in front of her, She looked at me with bit of fear in her eyes, Who wouldn’t right after agreeing to have a blind date to stranger and showed up to you with a mask on his face in the middle of the night outside Seoul

I seated opposite from her, We are still quiet for a couple of minutes, We are still in the middle of digesting the situation, being a gentleman I gather all my courage to reveal who really am I

I took off my cap, fix my hair a bit, then removed my mask and settled my things beside me

“AnYeongHaseyo MoonByul-ssi. XiuMin-imnida.” I now revealed my real identity as i handed my hand to her for  a shake

She didn’t take it, instead I saw her tremble, It slowly gotten into her who really I am and what situation she is now, SeulGi lied to her and behind that is because of me, She was all silent for about 10 minutes and I can feel she was tense, She still hiding in her mask, As I can see cold sweats are now in her forehead, I called Ahjumma for a two glass of cold water, after a couple of minutes she went back and place it in our table and left

“MoonByul-ssi, Here is your water.” I offered as I slide the glass to her slowly with both of my hands
