*** Backing away, I keep my eyes on the boy in front of me, boy? Who am I kidding, those icy blue eyes reflect nothing but how ancient this creature actually is, he totally drop all his mask, gone all the warm boy facade I stare in awe earlier, there’s only a cold hunger and sadistic smiles and I star struck under that hypnotizing gleam. JongIn let out a sinister chuckles,
I look at Nox beside me as he just innocently staring at JongIn and me back and forth, what the hell is this mutt doing?! Did he like JongIn that much to let me get threatened like this?!, Nox you little !
“come on, play out with me,” JongIn grinned, showing off a set of pearly white teeth, I stay silent, turning my attention back at him as I’m sure Nox would just sat and did nothing while I’m being eaten raw,
“ ‘JongIn,what big arms you have!’ “, he start his sick play and I couldn’t help but to turn my eyes to look at the bulging biceps under his shirt as he flexed them, “ ‘All the better to hug you with, my dear.’ ”, he chuckles,
“ ‘JongIn-sshi, what big legs you have!’ “, my eyes darted to a pair of strong legs and tights, I couldn’t even escapes even if I decided to run away,  “ ‘All the better to run with, my child.’ “,
“ ‘JongIn-sshi, what big ears you have!’, um no, wait, I don’t have big ears, one of my hyungs did though, even without transforming into his wolf form”, he chuckled heartily at his own joke and I bit my bottom lips, knowing its near the end of the conversation already, “okay, back to the play, where is it again? ah right! The ears!, ‘all the better to hear with, my child.’, come on JooYeon-sshi, play along!”,
He smirked, his blue eyes twinkled in mirth , “ ‘JongIn-sshi, what big eyes you have!’ “,
I shake my head slightly, gulping, keep backing away, he tsk-ed at my lack of response but keeping his play anyway, “ ‘all the better to see with, my child.’ “, he winked playfully,
“ ‘JongIn-sshi, what big teeth you have got!’ “, this is it, the final sentence, my eyes darted back to his teeth, seemingly glinted in threat, even in his human form, he paused to smirk at me lazily, “come on, you know what the wolf said next,”,
I gulped, my back finally touched the wall as he keep advancing forwards. The final words unconciously let out my lips in a whispers as we both said the words at the same time,
“ ‘All the better to eat you up with.’ “, and its the last straw as I turn right to run inside. as if he predicted my movements already, he pounce and grab my waist but we both stumbled to the floor when my feet crashed with a single stair on the floor and my head knocked onto the hard edged tile floor, drawing blood from the the spot I’ve knock my head with,
Jongin’s surprised shout and Nox’s whine - oh so now you decided to care huh? You little betrayer- was the last thing I’ve heard before my sight start to out,
“oh my God! JooYeon-sshi! I’m sorry!”,

*** I stirred awake, groaning as I palm my beaten head and wincing as my fingers brushed the still healing wound on my forehead. A sad whimper sounded beside me as I felt warm fur and focused my sight, its in the middle of the day already, just when did I fall asleep?
Eh? This isn’t my room
The scene from a few hours ago replayed inside my mind and I jolted up instantly,
“whoa! Whoa! Easy there! Your wound still hasn’t healed yet, its heal damn slow, just what did you do? You’re lack of nutrition, when the last time you eat people’s soul?” JongIn voice came from the door right on cue as I tore between winced and throws daggers at him with my glares and he saw my expression, chuckling as he lift both of his hands at me before took a seat on the edge of the bed,
The whole room smelled like him and that’s when realization hit me, “why am I in your bed?” I ask suspiciously, squinting my eyes at him as he let out a bark like laughter,
“this is the most comfortable room available, I know there’s other room, but do you really want to sleep in dust covered room?” he asked back playfully and I turn away, “I guess not” he finished smugly,
“besides, your soul seeker here guarding you all the while you unconcious, he’s a fiesty one, especially after my jokes earlier ended up knock you out like this, sorry” he explained more with apologetically expression on his face and I bulged my eyes. He did all of that as a joke?!,
Smacking his arm harshly, I yell at him through my gritted teeth while Nox -still in his wolf form- guffawing and joined the fun infront of him happily before I sent glares towards him “I’m still mad at you! How could you let this jerk did this to me?!” I shouted at him while pointing my injured head and JongIn giggled at Nox dropped ears as he whimpered at my scolds,
Unbelivable, I pouted when Nox throws me his puppy dog eyes before a realization dawn at me. JongIn ask me about eating people’s souls earlier and he clearly call Nox my ‘soul seekers’ whatever those words mean is. He knows something that I don’t!,
I turn my face back at the still grinning boy before me quickly and he raised an eyebrow at the sudden attention, “whatever you're doing right now, stop it, I know you know something I don't know, you know that I'm not a full blooded vampire, right? And I know that without you even tell me about” I stated, glaring at him at the last sentence when he open his mouth to fool me again, and when he saw me being serious, those smirks formed again on his lips. The one that cracked all his facade and let me saw just how ancient this creature infront of me is,
“well, its obvious that you’re no way in gaming mood right now and I’m not that fool to messing with a fuming Grim Reaper, no mater how many percent of the Reaper blood ran in your veins” he said casually and let the words sink into my brain like flooding waves,

I stare at him with eyes as wide as a saucer, searching for another jokes in his expression but heck, this jerk being honest, I even felt his emotion, no guilt no evil intention, nothing. He’s spurting a pure truth, as if he’s only commenting about weather rather than me being a creature that everybody in this world know was long extincted,
After a few second of silent, JongIn chuckled “come on JooYeonnie, did you really think I won’t notice the poisonous smell from that basket you brought? It reeks like hell, I almost burn my nostrils when I smell them”, ah, so that’s why he winced the first time he sniff the air when he opened the door for me,
