My Comments: I've also been keeping up with this fic for a long time now.  The author doesn't exactly update often because of issues, but I don't mind because I still really love this fic and the way the author writes.  It's been a while since I've read a new chapter, but the last I read of it, I loved the character development and the way the author makes them all so relatable.  I highly recommend this fic and I hope the author continues with it when they have time.
