seriously though, the one thing i want to say more than anything is ... well, i know labelling ourselves as a "literate" roleplay with a semi-dark plot as the base might make us seem scary - cue a fading image of us stalking around with laser guns and grammar nazi badges - but honestly jaebum and i are just a pair of super duper dumb dorks! are we going to judge your writing like some mad literacy nerds? no! in fact, we'll probably be too busy slapping our own faces and wondering if we're interesting enough for you! are we going to criticise your ideas for being too "cliche" or whatnot? have an even bigger no! we intend to open this place to have fun, to stray away and try something different, but mostly to have fun fun fun! are we going to freak out if you're even the slightest bit slow with replies because all you wanna do for a day is just hang out in our inboxes and rave that new comeback? have the biggest no yet because pal, you could be privately message us an essay about how incredibly fine those k-pop ladies are or how utterly terrible your last class was and we'd be right here to send you a long list of pick-me-up puppy vines instead of asking "but what about our plot?"
anyways, simply put: we're not going to be perfect, and we're not sure how far this roleplay will go, but if there's anything we're sure about we're both 100% willing to give this a try. so if you've read this to the end out of sheer curiosity, why not consider joining out of the same curiosity? we might just surprise you. ♥

i can speak with confidence when i say that we are two admins who are dedicated to establishing a place that you won't regret joining. hyeri and i are supremely fond of this roleplay because it checks off two things that we both love: writing & socializing. city of fire will be a refuge where you can enjoy doing both at the same time (multitasking is always the way to go, amirite?). you see, our goal is to make this roleplay a warm, relaxing getaway from "real life" where fellow writers can unite and create awesome stories together. there's limitless possibilities of genres & plots to be explored - so why not take the opportunity to expand your imagination, sharpen up your writing skills, and meet some new friends?
i hope that now that you've heard a little from us, the only thing that's stopping you from joining is the fact that the roleplay hasn't opened yet! we are super keen to meet you. (though, lucky hyeri gets to meet you first since i'll be joining at a later stage.) if you're unable to join us at the opening, then maybe we'll see you somewhere down the road? either way, the city will be waiting for ya!
