They both were sitting in a hospital room. One was laying peacefully on the bed while one was focusing on watching the television. It was silent, not in an awkward kind of way, but more in a peaceful kind of way.

"Jongin-ah, promise me that you'll always stand beside me"

"Of course"

"Forever?"

"Why are you asking me this? You know I only got my heart on you."

A chuckle was heard. "I know, just making sure," Taemin shrugged as he sipped on his tea. Jongin rolled his eyes as he turned to face his boyfriend. "I'm not going to stop loving you, not now, not later, not ever. Don't ever doubt me, okay?" Jongin said as he pinched Taemin's cheeks.

Taemin got that mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he replied to Jongin, "aw you know I love myself too!" He got that big smile on his face, the one that showed that he was really really happy.

And Jongin just grinned from ear to ear, but maybe just a bit fake.
