National University of Korea, prestigious as it is, what makes this particular education institution stand out is the quality of the students in it, only the best of the best, all straight A's. But amonsgt the good, there is always the better, and in terms of academics you only need their score to pick them out, those who've never gone bellow an A+, the elites. But this isn't highschool, this is college, where everyone is an independent individual, young adults who know better than to form cliques around the popular guys, so despite all the recognition they are still loners, nerds with no social life whatsoever.

 

This is the story of how these odd-balls find love... or try to.

Chapter 10: Hyuk really forgave quickly, and even made such a romantic gesture for their (maybe) 100th day. At least Donghae showed some self-awareness, but yeah, bringing up the awful way he acted before could be a bit of a mood killer. Still, they had a nice time. Now they get to celebrate every anniversary twice too, haha, what an unexpectedly sweet consequence. ♡

Chapter 9: Aw, they made up. Hyukjae's resolve cracked in under a week. Will Donghae treat him better now...hopefully.

Chapter 8: Oof. A lot of nasty things were said during that fight. Between insecurity and immaturity, Donghae just couldn't think the best of Hyuk until proven otherwise. Wonder how (if) they'll make up after this. Also, what motive does Henry have for meddling like this...

Chapter 7: Ah, gotta love the longing, "missing you when we're apart for only a bit" stage of dating. It's nice to see Donghae not only so sentimental, but intentional through flirty touches and gestures to make sure Hyuk knows he wants to be more than friends as they continue to get close. He needs that reassurance.

Darn, Kyu really knows how to ruin the moment, haha. Poor Donghae. He just wanted to kiss Hyukjae. Though maybe he made up for it by asking that burning question and kickstarting their relationship to progress a bit.The ups and downs of having boundary-less roommates. Hopefully they can get some quality alone time together at some point.

Chapter 6: Wow, they cleared up that misunderstanding faster than expected! Even though it's through text, they had healthy and honest communication just like that. How unexpected for these two, with the way their personalities are. Guess it's just because they feel like they can be vulnerable with each other.

Chapter 5: Yes Donghae, you gave him a physics class when you could've given him a "physical" class. But on the bright side, your helpful naivete helped Hyukjae start to like you a bit beyond what a hookup probably would.

Hopefully despite all the arrogant f*boy bluster, Donghae will treat him well, since he does want to date but doesn't want to rush into dating too fast. Our Hyukkie is a bit of a softy, regardless of how pent up he is. Though fact that Donghae likes him as well and doesn't see it as just is adorable. He's catching the feels too~

They obviously are having a miscommunication, probably both assuming the other only wants and not anything like a relationship. Sigh, these big-brained dummies.

Chapter 4: Bahahaha. What a start. Hyuk made an assumption lol. Glad it wasn't all a disappointment though, and he could learn something from Donghae during their actual study date. Also seemed to warm up to Donghae, even likes him a bit enough to consider friendship, so this has taken a twist from the antagonistic direction I was expecting, haha. It's nice though.

Lmao, that wild bluff to his roommate is bound to come back and bite him~

Donghae, despite his arrogant and cocky attitude, is really quite cute. With the emojis. His direct flirting and interest is adorable and refreshing, too. Though he had to wait and do it through text, so maybe he's not always as "pure confidence" as he lets on. He definitely knows what he wants though, and thankfully for Hyukjae's , it's him. 🤭

Chapter 3: I hate that I relate to Hyuk here, having perfectionism about certain things myself, making dumb mistakes on assignments and tests has haunted me. Though I don't envy him having critical friends like that, the last thing you need when you're already so self-critical is having other people hold you to near-impossible standards too.

The fact that Hyukjae wants to make friends with Donghae but was knocked back by the taunting ego-check of offering to tutor him. Ouch. So this will be enemies to lovers, I see. 😂

Aw, despite being so , he also wants a serious relationship, not just hookups. Interested to see how this plays out, and how long before Donghae is on board with that idea~

Chapter 2: Well, looks like Hyuk has his match here. Donghae has the same kind of audacious attitude and it should be interesting how the dynamic of each of their brands of insufferable-ness plays off of one another. Lol. They're really too alike in some ways. Will it be insant love or hate, I wonder.

Chapter 1: Nerd Hyukkie seems sassy already and he hasn't even interacted with anyone yet lol. This sounds fun, I'm glad I started reading it even though I'm late.
