HYUKJAE'S POV

I’ve never dated before.

I may or may not be clueless on this whole relationship thing. And so is he, so this could go many ways except smoothly.

Our first official date was surprisingly not a complete mess, we actually got to watch the movie this time, so there’s progress.

And of course we recycled our movie date, why not? Coming up with a new and exciting plan would have been too much work, and seeing how the first one turned out, it couldn’t really count.

It was perfect.

Well, as good as it gets, that much I can say.

I enjoyed the movie, the popcorn, the conversation, the kissing; all in all it was pretty enjoyable. It was a great head start and things were looking up from there, we lasted a good blissful 3 months before our first silly couple fight. It went a little like this.

“Where were you yesterday?” - he began as soon as I greeted him and invited him into my room.

“I went to a party with Kyuhyun” - I responded simply, furrowing my brow at his odd attitude.

“Party? Didn’t think you were the party type”- he said

“Am not. He needed a sober friend to drag his arse back to the dorm” - I answered, still not understanding where this conversation was going, so I just sat in my bed, motioning for him to join me. He didn’t.

“And you couldn’t tell me?” - he looked at me with a glare I couldn’t place.

“I did tell you I would be out with Kyu, didn’t I?” - I reminded him.

“Out with Kyu and crazy college party are not synonymous, Hyukjae!” - he raised his voice suddenly, making me flinch.

“Why are you upset all of a sudden? What? Did you expect me to invite you? I couldn’t do that, Hae, I was already Kyuhyun’s plus 1” - I reasoned, remaining calm despite his clear agitation.

“That’s not what this is about, but you should have at least told me where you would be”

“I don’t see what difference does it make” - I told him, still clueless.

“It makes a huge difference! What? Do you think I like you being in the middle of a bunch of drunken horndogs!?”- he yelled again, louder this time.

“That is so NOT how it went, Hae, you’re overreacting”- I tried to calm him down, standing up in front of him.

“Oh, am I!? Then explain to me why Henry sent me a pic of you grinding with some guy!?”- he suddenly accused, red with anger.

“What?! Donghae are you serious!? You believe that over me?!” - I became angry as well at his accusations, raising my tone.

“He has photographic evidence!” - he pulled out his phone and flung it in front of me, showing me the picture.

“Oh my god! Donghae! Are you blind!?”- I asked him him, even more furious after seeing that picture of me dancing with some guy, he was right about that much, but there was one detail, that should have been obvious enough and he was ignoring it completely.

“Definitely not! I can very clearly see your and his crotch rubbing together!”

“Look at me! ing look at me and tell me the guy in that picture is the me you see now” -  I opened my eyes wide and pointed at my body up and down, trying to hint him to look closer. Still nothing.

“I would recognize from a mile away, this is you and you were cheating on me” - he said
