The following day after meeting their new neighbor Chanhee, Jonghyun and Changhyun decided to pay Angel Care a visit. They still had a few days left until they had to return to work, so they wanted to check out the daycare that Hwanhee would be going to. 

"Do you think Hwanhee will be okay all by himself? I mean, he's really shy and doesn't really socialize." Changhyun sighed, glancing at the toddler that was comfortably seated in his car seat. The young toddler was still a bit sleepy, so his eyelids were drooping. 

"He doesn't socialize because we don't give him the chance to. He doesn't have any friends around his age because we don't know anyone with kids. Maybe he will meet another two year old at the daycare." Jonghyun smiled reassuringly, chuckling when he saw Changhyun blush. 

Even though they had been married for a couple of years, Changhyun still acted a bit timid and embarrassed whenever Jonghyun would show his affection. They had been intimate with each other more times than they could count, but Changhyun couldn't help but become embarrassed. 

"Papa! I'm hungry." Hwanhee called out from the backseat, getting the attention of his parents. He kicked his feet, whining as he reached his arms out for Changhyun.

"Wait first, Hwanhee. We're going to go buy you food." Changhyun smiled and gently poked Jonghyun's shoulder, silently telling him to start driving. 

As Jonghyun started to drive, he couldn't help but feel nervous about bringing Hwanhee to a daycare. At first, it was his sister that would volunteer to babysit Hwanhee while the young couple was working, but now, they would be trusting a stranger to watch their child. Sure, Chanhee was their new friend, but Jonghyun couldn't shake his protective feeling. Hwanhee was their first child, so he was everything to both Jonghyun and Changhyun. 

After a ten minute drive, the family finally arrived at the daycare. Just as the picture showed, it was a cute building with pictures in the window. Hwanhee made a noise of surprise when they parked the car.

"We eat here?" He asked as Changhyun pulled him out of his car seat. He kicked his legs again, wanting to be put down. 

"We're going to meet one of our friends, is that okay?" Jonghyun squatted down, looking at his son in the eyes. He pinched his cheek gently, watching as Hwanhee nodded. 

"Okay! Food later!" Hwanhee exclaimed, running towards the door. Changhyun laughed, following after his son. 

Jonghyun followed behind, holding the door open for his family as they walked in. They were greeted by the sound of children's laughter. Upon entering the building, they noticed that there was a gate set up by the front door, which stopped them from fully entering the daycare. To the side, there were many cubes that held various backpacks and shoes. Only about five cubes were filled at the moment.  

"You're here!" 

Chanhee appeared, wearing what looked like to be a dinosaur costume. He quickly unlocked the gate, allowing the family to come in. 

"We're in the middle of story time right now. That's why I'm dressed like this." Chanhee laughed, fixing his hair quickly. He smiled down at Hwanhee, who seemed interested at his costume. 

"Do you like dinosaurs, Hwanhee?" Chanhee asked, kneeling down to the young toddler's level. Hwanhee nodded quietly, reaching a hand up to touch Chanhee's costume. 

"Do you want to listen to Chanhee's story?" Changhyun helped take off Hwanhee's coat and shoes, smiling as Hwanhee nodded again. Changhyun spotted an empty cube and quickly placed his son's belongings in it.

"Follow me! Your parents can come as well." Chanhee took Hwanhee's hand, leading him over to the corner of the room where five other children were seated. 

The oldest child was sitting patiently, holding a baby in his arms. He smiled when he saw Chanhee returning. 

"Chunji hyung! Wooshin won't stop drooling on me." The child offered Chanhee the drooling baby who was oblivious to everything. 

Chanhee chuckled and took the baby from the child before gently nudging Hwanhee to the front.

"Okay kids, this is Hwanhee. He'll be joining us from today, so I want you all to be nice! His parents are here as well." Chanhee pointed over at the young couple who was watching quietly. They smiled once they noticed the children looking at them. 

"Also, I want you to introduce yourselves. Make sure you say how old you are." Chanhee nodded at the oldest child, as if telling him to start. 

"My name is Kim Jinwook, but my nickname is Jinhoo because it sounds cooler. I am five years old!" Jinhoo showed five fingers, indicating how old he was. He bowed slightly in the direction of Hwanhee's parents. 

The next child giggled as he waved his arms around, "I am Bitto! I am three years old!"

Bitto jumped up and down, never staying still. He ran over to Hwanhee and hugged him, causing the two year old to suddenly stop moving. 

"Bitto, say your real name." Chanhee laughed, watching as Bitto kept on hugging Hwanhee. 

"I am Lee Changhyun!"

Changhyun blinked in surprise when he heard the young child's name. That name wasn't that common, so he was surprised to discover someone else with the same name. 

"My papa is Changhyun!" Hwanhee whined, looking over at his parents. Jonghyun laughed, gently patting Changhyun's shoulder. 

"Your papa is Yoo Changhyun, but your friend is Lee Changhyun. Be nice." Jonghyun said, watching as Hwanhee nodded. 

Bitto finally released Hwanhee from his hug and went back to sit down, still giggling as he hugged the person next to him. 

"I am Lee Sungjoon! But Bitto calls me Wei. I am three." Wei smiled, waving his hands at Hwanhee. 

The next child to introduce himself was frowning and crossing his arms, seemingly in a bad mood. Jonghyun noticed that the child hasn't smiled since they got there.

"Are you still upset, Kogyeol?" Chanhee sighed, staring at the child who remained silent. 

"He's mad because you said Niel hyung would be here today, but he isn't here! Bitto exclaimed, waving his arms once again.

"Who's Niel?" Changhyun asked, feeling a bit curious. 

"He's one of my employees here. He only works part-time, so he doesn't show up every day. Kogyeol is quite fond of him." Chanhee chuckled, seeing Kogyeol pout his lips out.

"I am Go Minsoo, but Niel calls me Kogyeol. I am three." The child said quietly, but Hwanhee nodded his head. 

The final child to introduce themselves was the young baby in Chanhee's arms. The baby cooed quietly, gently smacking Chanhee in the face. 

"Ouch. Wooshin, don't do that." Chanhee laughed, showing Hwanhee the baby. 

"This is my nephew, Wooshin. He's only six months old, so you're his hyung! Please take care of him." Hwanhee bowed his head, watching as Wooshin reached out towards him. The young baby giggled when Hwanhee poked his cheek. 

"Didn't you say that there were six kids?" Jonghyun asked, smiling as Hwanhee took a seat next to Bitto. He was shy, but he wasn't scared of making new friends. 

"Yeah, there's another kid that's Hwanhee's age. But he hasn't been dropped off yet." Chanhee adjusted Wooshin in his arms, causing the baby to complain. 

"Your nephew is adorable. He kind of looks like you." Changhyun smiled at the baby that stared blankly back at him. 

"My brother always complains that his child looks more like me than him." Chanhee laughed, pinching one of Wooshin's cheeks. 

As the adults continued to talk, the young children were starting their own conversation. All of them wanted to ask Hwanhee questions. 

"How old are you?" Wei asked as Bitto became to climb on top of him. 

"I am two!" Hwanhee exclaimed as he showed three fingers. Jinhoo laughed and helped him show the correct amount of fingers. 

"We have another friend that's two years old! But he isn't here right now." Bitto said as he wrapped his arms around Wei's neck. The other boy didn't seem to mind at all. 

"I think Byunghun hyung is late again." Kogyeol said, looking at the door. 

The children continued to stare at the door as if they were waiting for someone to show up. Surprisingly, after a few minutes, the door opened revealing a blonde man holding a small child. The man seemed out of breath, but the child was sleeping soundly in his arms.

"Byunghun! Why are you so out of breath?" Chanhee laughed, causing the blonde man to blush slightly. The daycare owner watched as Byunghun gently woke up the sleeping child in his arms. 

"Hello there Xiao. Looks like you had a good nap." Chanhee smiled as the child woke up, yawning softly. The young boy was placed on the floor, but didn't complain at all. He started to take off his shoes and coat, putting them in a certain cube near the wall.

Chanhee opened the gate, allowing the young toddler and man to enter.

"This is Byunghun. He's the uncle of Xiao, who is around Hwanhee's age." Chanhee introduced the blonde to Jonghyun and Changhyun, who bowed in return. 

"This is Jonghyun and Changhyun. Their son Hwanhee is new here." 

Byunghun nodded as he looked over to the children, seeing a new face among them. He smiled a bit before turning back to Chanhee. 

"Sorry for being late. I had to drop off a few things at work before coming here. Hyung left early this morning and forgot to tell me to bring Dongyeol here." Byunghun chuckled, watching as his nephew approached the new boy. 

"Is Dongyeol your nephew? I thought it was Xiao?" Changhyun tilted his head, feeling a bit confused. 

"His nickname is Xiao. I think Bitto is the one that started it. That kid is fond of making up nicknames. He even gave Chanhee and I nicknames." Byunghun replied, still watching the kids interact in the corner. 

The adults continued to talk, learning more about each other. Jonghyun was surprised to know that Byunghun worked as a writer in the local newspaper. He had a lot of free time when he wasn't working in a report, so he was usually the one to visit the daycare. Also, Jonghyun noticed that neither Byunghun or Chanhee questioned his marriage with Changhyun. There were still a few people that gave them stares whenever they walked by, but it was nice to know that their new friends were accepting of them. 

Changhyun's thoughts, on the other hand, were completely different. He couldn't help but notice how incredibly shy Byunghun seemed when talking to Chanhee. The blonde would never look the daycare owner in the eyes and would always start staring down at his hands, as if he was nervous. Chanhee didn't seem to notice Byunghun's strange behavior. 

"Is it alright if we leave Hwanhee here for this afternoon? Changhyun and I still have a few things to fix at the apartment." Jonghyun asked, looking back over at his son. He was currently watching Bitto and Wei's competition on who could jump the highest. 

"No problem! I always keep an extra lunch here at the daycare just in case. If you want, I can bring Hwanhee back to your apartment. It'll save you the trip." Chanhee suggested as Wooshin suddenly cried out, babbling something incomprehensible. 

"That sounds perfect! Thank you so much, hyung!" Changhyun smiled, bowing politely towards Chanhee. 

"No need to thank me! We're friends now. You can always call me if you need a babysitter. You should probably tell him that you're leaving though."

The young couple called for their son, who looked a bit reluctant to approach them. it seemed as if he didn't want to leave his new friends. 

"Papa and I will go back home to fix your room. Is that okay? You can stay here with Chanhee hyung and all your new friends." Jonghyun said as he gently pat Hwanhee's head. 

"And Chanhee hyung will be bringing you home. I'll make your favorite food for dinner!" Changhyun kneeled down and gave his son a tight hug. It wasn't the first time he was going to be separated from his son, but he still felt emotional about it. 

"Okay!" Hwanhee smiled and ran back over to his friends, leaving his parents dumbfounded. Usually, the young toddler would cry and complain, but he seemed different already. 

"That was easier than expected." Changhyun tried not to frown as his son ran back to his new friends. He was only two years old, but he already has his own friends he could play with.

"He's probably just happy to meet new people that are his age. Hopefully he'll become more social from now on." Jonghyun smiled and wrapped an arm around Changhyun, leading him to the exit. The couple waved goodbye at Chanhee and Byunghun, who were still in the middle of a conversation. 

As they walked to the car, Changhyun felt suddenly empty. He didn't have his baby to hold in his arms. 

"Don't tell me you're feeling separation anxiety already? We just walked out of the daycare!" Jonghyun laughed, leaning in to kiss Changhyun's cheek. He was trying to make Changhyun feel better. 

"It's the first day! You can't blame me for feeling like this." Changhyun complained before entering their car. He quickly put on his seatbelt and crossed his arms, feeling a bit upset. 

"This is the first time we'll be having time to ourselves. Let's just fix up Hwanhee's room and take a nap. He'll be back before you know it." Jonghyun started the car, reaching his hand over to pat Changhyun's thigh. 

"By 'take a nap', I hope you mean actually sleeping and not that other thing." Changhyun narrowed his eyes as he felt Jonghyun's hand squeeze his thigh. 

"You already know that I mean the other thing."

"Choi Jonghyun!"
