Let's Get Lost
“Are you sure we won’t get busted?” Yuna held onto the little amount of hope she had on Jongin. The boy was literally a ball of confidence, jumping over the gates like a pro athlete. He had assured her they were about to have a lot of fun at school. I repeat school. Oh yes, Jongin had decided to take Yuna to school of all places in the world to have a little fun. She had texted her mother that she was out with a friend, not mentioning the name of the so-called friend. In addition, she added that she was locked out of the house for good. Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she instantly checked her inbox. It was none other than her mother. Her old woman was not pleased.
“Mom texted me to get back home before the clock hits ten.” She put her phone back in her pocket and waited for him to open the gates. He effortlessly unlocked the gate from the other side using his tricks and opened it wide for his guest to come.
“I’m positive you won’t regret this, noona!” He smiled as though he was charisma personified. Yuna was still unsure about how she felt with this whole plan, but she would be lying if she said she wasn’t feeling the thrill. He motioned her to come inside as though he had invited her for tea in his extravagant mansion.
“Are you sure you’re not a serial killer?” Yuna was poor at beating around the bush and enquired him for the third time that day. He threw her sardonic smile with his eyes sporting a mischievous look.
“Not too sure... But I’d like to blow your mind tonight.” He pointed his hand in the form of a gun towards her head. She side eyed him before walking towards the school building. “Just so you know my dad’s six feet tall and has a six pack body!” She retreated while smirking at him with her head held up high, enhancing her beautiful jaw line. Jongin took a minute to admire his neighbour before leading the way.
“Explains why your family members are freaking towers.”
The school looked lifeless. Not even a single person was in sight. They had broken into the school from the back gate, which went unnoticed by the watchman who was fast asleep on the chair near the front gate. He was nicknamed Mr. Snorts because he would doze off during the daytime too, which proved to be very convenient for people like Yuna who had never heard of the first bell. Yuna claimed herself to be a nocturnal creature as she was more interested in thriving during the nighttime. She found a sense of relief in the dark and wished to confine in the mysterious night sky.
