Dear Love, I Think I'll Stick to Chemistry

Description

Staying at the top of the science class at Skylim High in Seoul taught Hyerin some irreplacable knowledge on not only science, but also life. She named these awesome ideas of random life skills "The Three Laws of Leading a Scientifically Knowledgeable Life" by Kim Hyerin. These three laws were:

1. Science is relatable to real life.

2. Science is always changeable. Never be fooled by what people say is fact. You never know when it might become fiction.

3. Life's variables come in many ways. The most annoying way is when boys enter the equation and experiment you have so carefully carried out. All they have to do is look at you and BOOM, your work burns down like Isaac Newton's house.

These boys completely changed, ruined, transformed, and agitated the heck out of her. They picked on her, then praised her. They cheated on her, then used her. They went out of their way to make her life completely miserable. But in the end...well, we'll leave that to the end.

Who were these annoyingly handsome yet awesome guys? Yep. They were the Bangtan Boys.

She founded the third law in her third year at high school, on the first day of Junior year. Of course, she was pretty well known by then, winning about half of the school's awards and trophies in the advancement of science and technology. Not to mention that she would be the Track team's co-captain that year and that she was concertmistress of the region's orchestra for the third year in a row. She even had her fair share of admirers and drama, but not enough to cause hatred from the Kingkas, the Ulzzangs, and their screaming fanbase.

In a nutshell, she was a good girl. She got good grades (second in the school, only losing to....hmmm maybe we'll find out who her top rival is...?) had a good physique, musical talent, social likeability, and a decent face.

One flaw, however, deemed her imperfect in the eyes of many. Of course, most thought she was too perfect, which in turn made her imperfect to them because of her perfection.

But if the world forgot about those selfish and immaturely jealous people, her one flaw would be her ever changing mood. She was nearly bipolar, but not so drastic that people couldn't predict when she would explode. But of course, the first explosion occurred when no one knew her and picked on her freshman year. So... when the Bangtan Boys, consistent of seven...hmmm lets call them Valence Electrons/ handsome/ funny/ charismatic/ talented/ annoying boys, came into her school during her Junior year without any warning of her Sodium like reactivity to anything suggestively aggressive, lets say it didn't turn out too well.

After that first day of Junior Year, she was utterly mortified by herself, boys, and life in general. In fact, after founding the third law, Hyerin went back and changed her other two laws of living scientifically:

1. Science is relatable to real life. Seriously. To whoever is reading this, know that Newton's Third law always comes back and bites you on the .

2. Science is always changeable. Never be fooled by what people say is fact. They might believe it, you might believe it, but never forget that small voice within society, within your head that proposes an opportunity for difference.

One event changed her idea of life forever, and of course, Newton's third law (and his stupid dog that burned down his papers) bit her right in the behind when she could least afford it to.

Foreword

Yeah, I'm practically set for the best college in Korea. Seoul University? Maybe I'll move to America and apply to Julliard. OOH maybe even Harvard?! *gasp* the feels....

Man I am really hopeless. I get feels over going to University. Loser radar on point.

But for real, I was set. Besides my extremely rare bipolarness, I had my future planned out.

1. I would graduate high school as Valedictorian and track team captain

2. Apply to the top schools in the world and hopefully get accepted to at least one

3. Graduate college, get a masters degree, maybe a PhD, all while holding a job at a top enterprising company

4. Get married (of course to Park Jimin, my ultimate crush since middle school!!@#$% SO HOTT) have kids, start a family (and a good one at that)

5. Retire young and spend time with family, friends, and God.

Ah. An amazing plan.

But on the first day of Junior year, well about the last half of my future got switched around, and lets just say that everything after that was history...or rather, chemistry.
