All Messed Up

Glad You Came

Hello dear readers, I finally made it to the next chapter... Here we go!! Heads up for bad language^^

“Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome back to Saturday Insight! Let’s move on to the next issue of the week. Dahyun-ssi, tell us whose celebrity’s life are we going to reveal?”

“Ne Hwangbeol-ssi, the next news is about our beloved man and nation’s favorite MC, Yoo Jaesuk. Now, recent days there was a photo leak on Twitter. The picture showed Yoo Jaesuk having a lunch at local restaurant with none other than uprising supermodel and actress, Deanna Kim,” The screen changed into the mentioned picture. “Kyungim-ssi, what do you think of this?”

“I will begin with this: Oh my God! I’m in love with what Deanna was wearing. Didn’t she look cute? Preppy kind of look.”

“I couldn’t agree more. She is a supermodel after all. But Kyungim-ssi, let’s move on from the fashion shall we?”

“Ah mianhada. I’m too caught up in the moment. Alright...,” The fashion host paused a moment, scanning the picture in precise measure. “Hmm, this is not the first time Jaesuk and Deanna was spotted together, am I right?”

“As a matter of fact you are right. Do you remember few months ago, with the kid and a dog? Do we have the picture of it—oh there it is,” The screen changed once again to the mentioned photo.

“The last time they were together was when they attended Jaesuk’s son’s school event, as said by Jaesuk himself. But now, no kids, no dogs... And again both of them look very fancy,” The other host said.

“From what I heard, they were both meeting up to discuss something about TV show. Business perhaps?”

“That could be it. Since Deanna played few roles in her drama, she is starting to appear in many shows, like Running Man. I believe that’s how the two met.”

“I couldn’t agree more,” The host turned to face directly at the camera. “What about you? What do you guys at home think of this fancy lunch? Tell us on Twitter using hashtag—”

Grumpily, Deanna turned off the TV. Well that was something else. She appreciated the fashion talk, though. But filling people’s head with gossip and trashy stuff was horribly wrong. That was why infotainment always broadcast at night, for tired minds.

Trashy stuff was still a trash for her, but somehow she couldn’t help but to search for it. She wondered what people were about to say.

What a strange duo for a lunch. Yoo Jaesuk-oppa looks nice though!

I don’t understand how this two meet each other. I mean... You know what I mean.

It’s not that I don’t like her, but seeing her with Yoo Jaesuk-oppa for the second time gets me suspicious...

Why all of this negative comments? They just hang out.

Am I the only one who doesn’t know her? Who is she anyway?

I went home for this... My mood goes downhill.

I adore Deanna’s jacket, but seeing her with Yooneunim was weird... Pfft, weird.

She’s probably trying to gain people attention and social status. The one she lost. But not with Jaesuk-oppa, please!

He is happily married. She is no use. Go home!! Go back home to America!!

...

The last one was mind-blowing. Wait, there was more. The more she scrolled down the tweets, the more her mind exploded. Her mood was also heavily drowning to her future grave, along with her pride. She knew the society still couldn’t accept her for being an American and a model and a smoker. Just then things went worse all the way as soon as possible. Not only her haters but she had to deal with Jaesuk’s fans as well. And he had a lot of fans.

And friends too.

...

What day was tomorrow?

Ah... Sunday.

Sunday should have been the best day for a relaxation. To have a short getaway from business or perhaps shopping could do the job to erase all the six-days stress. But with a lot of gossip messing up her mind and people’s mind, there was no way she could face the outside world of mean glares and dirty stares. She couldn’t face them. She couldn’t face them all. To be honest, she didn’t know if she could sleep well tonight.

Well, good thing she didn’t have photo-shoot or commercial takes tomorrow. She intended to lock herself in the bedroom, wrapped with warm blanket, served with warm cocoa milk and strawberry pancakes. Yep, that’d do.

On a second thought she had to take Burger to the local vet for monthly check-up.

...

Oh .

Immediately she grabbed her phone and started texted some people with a made-up story. She had to go to a model meeting so she couldn’t take Burger to the vet. No, wait. She couldn’t do that. Her friends, as in fellow models on the same agency, should have known better.

Or perhaps... She had to go to the airport so she couldn’t take Burger to the vet.

And then her friends would ask; what are you doing at the airport? Connecting to the airport Wi-Fi. It’s free. No, that was just stupid.

Hmm... Maybe she didn’t need to make things up. Maybe she just needed tell her friends about the bothering news. In Deanna’s head, it all made sense. Sure they would understand.

Actually there was a friend who would understand, someone who would truly understand. Besides, he was used to her making orders at him. So maybe a sudden dog emergency situation shouldn’t be a problem.

“Ye, Nuna?”

“Ah Kwangsoo-yah, Thank God—are you sleeping?”

“Ye.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry, Kwangsoo-yah. But Nuna needs your help.”

“Umm... Sure, what’s the matter?”

“Are you free tomorrow at ten?”

There was a short paused in the middle of the late-night talk. Kwangsoo hummed slightly. “Yes, I’m free tomorrow at ten. What is it Nuna? And can you make it quick?”

“Ah, sure. I’m sorry but I need you to take Burger to the vet tomorrow... And if you could, bring him back home at two.”

“Oh, dog stuff. Why don’t you do it yourself, Nuna?”

Deanna sighed hard and scrunched her eyebrows desperately. “I’m just not in the mood of going out tomorrow.”

“Wae?”

“Umm, you know why.”

“I’m sorry, I don’t. Wae?”

“The night news. Just like ten seconds ago.”

“I was already sleeping, I didn’t catch any news,” Kwangsoo said in deep sleep. “What news?”

Deanna couldn’t help but rolling her eyes. But she also couldn’t just tell him. just couldn’t come up with the word to describe it. “Ah, you know what, why don’t you go back to sleep. Tomorrow at ten, don’t forget.”

“I won’t forget.”

“Good,” Deanna sighed and pinched the top of her forehead. “Kwangsoo-yah, do you have a minute?”

“No, I’m sorry Nuna, I’m so tired. I went home like half an hour ago. I need to get some rest. Is it cool?”

“Okay, sure. Sleep well.”

“Ne.” And with that, he hung up, probably continuing whatever dream he had. Let’s just hope that he could really make it to help Burger. Or else she was who needed help.

The next morning came by so slow and not as cherish as usually be. It was seven already but the sky was gloomy without any sunlight. Even if there was a hint of ray, it couldn’t match the cold feeling inside. It seemed that the sky followed the current mood in the house, deep dark gloomy reality.

Taking a sip of the steaming black coffee, Yoo Jaesuk sighed in depressed. When he woke up, he felt much better than last night. But the bad mood was still there. He didn’t dare to turn on the TV because he had a sense that he would watch some exaggerated bull all over again. But he didn’t have anything to do that morning, aside eating toasts and drinking coffee.

He watched the clouded sky. Now he felt lazy. He was just ready to go back to bed and wrap blanket all over him, to hide from the harsher world. But he was busy. He was aware of that. He didn’t have any choice. But at least he only to film another episode of his new talk show. A sad talk show, Deanna once said about it.

Deanna Kim. He didn’t know if she heard about the news about her and him. But if she did, she would just lose it. It was hard on her more than it was on him. As popularity helped him, this kind of problem was easy to handle. He could just explain things and people would buy it. But to her, it was more of a deep valley to jump out other than a business bump to pass through.

Oh what the he was baffling about? On the first time it happened, people would trust him. But if it happened again, the same problem, people would start to doubt him. And if he ever stepped a foot into public, people were definitely driven to ask—ing reporters. They would ask and take pictures and asked again, until they got a satisfying answer. And people like them were hardly satisfied. Jaesuk understood their job, but all at once it was not easy to handle.

That day at the SBS building was weird. Jaesuk were familiar with idolizing glare and respectful gaze from the staff all around. But that day, Jaesuk felt nothing but worried and questions; like he just did something wrong. To them, he did something wrong.

Despite the problem going on, he needed to be a professional. Again, he had a job to do. The co-hosts were actually helping him by not asking about any of it, even though by the looks they were also curious of what happened. He too was curious with things that happened in a blink of his eyes. For now there was nothing he could do. He just needed to relax, before the whole gossip started to get the best of his mind. It was starting, actually.

Oh damn reporters. The whole front lobby of the building was already filling and waiting for him. Well, maybe not entirely for him. But they would bombard him with questions if they saw him anyway. And they did.

“Yoo Jaesuk-ssi, over here!”

“Can you smile for the camera?”

“Jaesuk-ssi, can you spare some time?”

“Yoo Jaesuk-ssi, how is Deanna Kim doing?”

“Yoo Jaesuk-ssi...”

“Yoo Jaesuk-ssi...”

He tried so hard to ignore all of these questions from them. But at the end of the day, after the yelling and calling, something just got to stick into his mind. To be honest, he had never suffered such a mind-ache this bad. Well, he had never been this way before, to deal with gossips and woman at the same time. Was it what Jihyo felt when she had to deal with her CEO boyfriend thing and all? Whatever it was, he didn’t like this feeling. He didn’t like the fact that he didn’t know how to handle this.

And what about the woman, Deanna? How is she hanging with all of the thing’s going on right now?

Just as he was about to step into the van, his phone call rang. From the caller ID alone, Jaesuk knew this call was going to be a long one. And this particular caller actually had called few times during filming, but it turned out as missed-calls. Actually, since the premiere of the gossip, has been calling him relentlessly. Jaesuk knew he was worried, but it was way out of the line. What is his problem anyway? Jaesuk was tired and he didn’t need to deal with it right now. He decided to ignore it and instead sent a text about he was busy.

Just before he could type the message, another phone call came in. Shaking his head, he answered nonetheless.

“Ye, Kwangsoo-yah?”

“Ah, Hyung. Let’s not waste time; what’s going on between you and Jongkook?”

“Okay, I can explain—wait, Kim Jongkook? Why him?”

“Yeah. Jongkook-hyung called me and he sounded so furious. He ranted about you don’t want to talk to him. And now he throws that anger to me. What’s going on?”

“I don’t know, Kwangsoo. I don’t understand either. My problem has nothing to do with Jongkook. And if I don’t want to talk to him about it then I just don’t want to talk to him about it. You know what I am saying?” Jaesuk puffed out loud. “And he doesn’t have right to take it all to you.”

There was a pause in the middle of the deep conversation. Jaesuk pinched the bridge of his nose, and looked around. His manager was busy driving, obviously didn’t get so comfortable with the situation. “Jaehyun-ssi, can you get me some snacks or coffee maybe? Until I get this done? Please.”

“Arassimnida, Hyungnim.”

The manager pull over to the side of the road and left to get—to give him some space, he knew that was the main reason.

“I understand, Hyung. But you gotta’ talk to Jongkook. This Deanna thing is getting serious. He even—”

“He what?”

“Uhh....”

“Lee Kwangsoo!”

“Well, yeah, he bursts out in raged.”

“No, that’s not what you wanted to say. Tell me!”

Jaesuk could tell Kwangsoo was scared. By the sound of his trembling breath, he knew he didn’t want to do this. “Jongkook-hyung kind of burst out to Deanna too.”

What?

“What do you mean by burst out? How dare he—”

“N-not really a burst, Hyung. He just called her and talked some sense.”

“What he did doesn’t make any sense. How do you know this?”

“I came over to Deanna’s this morning to take care of her dog. Then she told me about the call. She told me everything,” Kwangsoo’s voice started to shake slightly. “Do you know why I took care of Burger instead of her? Because with all the gossip she had, she didn’t dare to leave the house. I just feel like Jongkook only makes it worse.”

“Yah—”

“So, Hyung, please talk to Jongkook in any ways. I’m concerned that I am not the only victim to Jongkook’s sudden anger.”

Since the whole phone-call thing, Jaesuk and Jongkook slowly started to drift apart. They barely talked to each other, more like to share stupid stuff to each other like they used to be. They had a schedule to film for Running Man, which was very awkward for both of them, and of Kwangsoo too. Meanwhile the other four who barely know what was going on between the trios just stood they with their own lives.

As two jokers of the Running Man, both of them still talked and made jokes about each other, but the intensity was negative. Even the first intro, Jongkook moved to stand to the very end jus to avoid Jaesuk. Jongkook said he didn’t want to get near the grasshopper and Jaesuk just mocking replied he was only weird.

During the first mission where it was a running mission, Jongkook was spotted pushing Jaesuk out of his track. Jaesuk did the same to him, this time using so much force that Jongkook actually tripped and fell. And few moments later, Jongkook was pushing him away until Jaesuk’s glasses fell off. During that physical joke, none of them checked and helped to get the other one up, as what they used to do. The laughter instantly died down.

What they did was wrong. It was so negative that PD decided to cancel the episode. When the PD asked them, they just shrugged like it was no big deal. They knew the real truth behind it.

One man, however, couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Kim Jongkook, Yoo Jaesuk, Lee Kwangsoo, come here for a minute,” Seokjin literally dragged their lying asses to the small park just enough to hide from people. “Obviously there’s something going on here. Who would like to start?”

The tree adult just stood there, not saying any word. Seokjin could just feel a thick tense circling each of them. It was like a Venn diagram where three circles just stood on their grounds, not cutting to anyone. He sighed hard.

“Anyone want to start? Come on, man up!”

Instinctively Kwangsoo raised his hand, didn’t care about the hard gaze from the two arch enemies. Kwangsoo just glanced at them and snorted. “To be honest, I don’t know what the problem really is between these two. I just found myself getting in the middle of them,” he explained. “But I can tell you this; Yoo Jaesuk is scared, Kim Jongkook is worried.”

“I’m not scared of Jongkook—”

“Not Jongkook. I mean Deanna,” Kwangsoo cut him off. “No, not Deanna. Yoo Jaesuk-hyung is afraid that he might hurt Deanna and Jongkook-hyung is worried about that.”

“Wait, this all thing... Is about Deanna?” Seokjin asked.

“Yes,” this time Jongkook spoke up. “Ever since he met Deanna, he was acting weird. I remembered when he helped her during one hundred athlete episode thing. He gave her your coat and hat and stuff... Oh yeah, he took her to his son’s school event whatever it was, yet you didn’t even ask us,” He went on, now glaring at the older man. “And now the fancy lunch? Out of all the people, why her?”

“Okay, first of all, the lunch was for Infinity Challenge. If you want to know, Jack Black is coming and we need someone to help us with the language barrier. She and the lunch were actually Haha’s idea,” It was Jaesuk’s turn to defense himself. “And all the nice stuff I did to her? What’s your problem with that? That was my son’s event. That was my decision. You don’t get to tell me what to do!” He huffed loudly. “And you are certainly nobody to tell her what to do!”

“Fine! I’ll say it. I don’t like you and her hanging out together. Pfft, I don’t even like her. I don’t know if you are aware of this but she is ruining your reputation all at once. She has a bad image already!”

“That’s why I want to help! She had this problem going on and I wanted to help. All I did for her was to help her. To help her! She has a bad image already, I get it. Well guess what, she is trying to change and I want to keep her that way. But a lot of people just judge. People just don’t want to give her a chance.”

“Maybe I am one of those people!” Jongkook shook his head and groaned. “Ugh! This is definitely not working!!”

“Right, it isn’t,” Seokjin cut him in. “You know what’s working? Yoo Jaesuk, Kim Jongkook, Lee Kwangsoo, and Deanna Kim all sit tight and talk this thing down to its core!” Seokjin said sternly before leaving the three of them alone.

Kwangsoo who was listening, sighed hard and shook his head. He felt horrible, like downgrade horrible. The two men he respected were clashing right in front of him because of one simple gossip. This couldn’t be happening.

“I agree with Seokjin-hyung. We all and Deanna need to talk to each other to set this up,” Kwangsoo pinched his eyes; he didn’t even realize he was crying. “I seriously don’t understand between you two. Both of you are right and at the same time both of you are wrong,” Kwangsoo paused. “But I just want to tell you this; right now, I’m standing in front of Deanna. Out of four of us, she is the one who suffers the most.”

Jongkook watched the younger man walked away and joined the other group back at the set. He glanced at Jaesuk and grunted loudly. “Hyung?”

“Yes?”

“I don’t want to do this, you know, yelling at you and accusing you. You are my idol and I have high hopes from you. I guess I’m just disappointed,” Jongkook sighed. “I am truly sorry that I put you in this rough position. But I’m not feeling sorry enough about the things that I said. So we do need to talk alone with Deanna as well.”

With that Jongkook left him all alone, leaving him thinking of a way to get out of this sticky situation.

***

The time was arranged; Thursday, four in the afternoon, Kang Gary’s apartment. Seokjin said they needed a neutral place, not attached to anybody. After hearing the short story, Kang Gary volunteered.

One by one, judges had come to his apartment. For judges, Gary meant Seokjin, Jihyo, and Haha. Jongkook was already coming. He was having a conversation with Haha about their world tour together next year. A small conversation like music could ease up the room, even though sooner or later the room would be filled with anxiety and irritating tense.

Kwangsoo was also there, squeezed in between Seokjin and Gary. In a moment or two he would join the conversation with Jongkook, but he found it so hard to have such a normal talk with this heavy weights on his shoulder. He just listened to them instead.

Few minutes later, Yoo Jaesuk arrived at the scene. He immediately greeted and hugged Gary and Haha, but he just shook Jongkook’s hand, as if they just met for the first time. He could feel that Jongkook’s hand was actually sweating. And to be honest his was too. They both didn’t realize how nervous they’ve become.

“Where’s Deanna? She will be here, right? I bought her favorite latte cake,” Jihyo tried to ease up the mood. “I also brought a lot of gimbab and some fishcakes. I think we will eat them up, mouth full.”

Haha, Gary, and Seokjin laughed along. But no words came out from the other two men. Sensing a building tense, Kwangsoo walked over to the kitchen to help Jihyo with the food. It was by far the best decision to avoid them.

“Yah, Kwangsoo, don’t worry. I believe this would end well,” Jihyo reassured him, “We know they both are so hard on each other, but that’s just the way they are.”

“I know, Nuna. I feel stuck in the middle of all of this. I don’t like it.”

Jihyo wrapped an arm around his, hugging his arm. “You will be fine—oh, can you hold this, Kwangsoo?

Kwangsoo took the plates of cakes as Jihyo walked to check her phone on the table. She grabbed it and opened any text she got. Her breath hitched as she read it carefully, before turning to the door. “Deanna’s here.”

When Jaesuk heard her name, his body became stiff. His heart began to pound rapidly. He could literally feel all the blood drained from his face. He was pale. He wasn’t ready. He glanced at Jongkook and he... Well, he was still pissed. But he could sense that he was scared to see her as well. Meanwhile Kwangsoo was waiting by the kitchen table, just as nervous.

All of them were. At that time the room seemed like a slow-motion movie. Just that it wasn’t a movie. It was heart-hitting reality hit.

Just then the door opened again, this time Jihyo came with another woman in tow. Jaesuk knew Deanna was definitely sick with all this drama, but she just looked so sick, like hospital sick. She looked thinner. Her tan skin was also looked paler, like she had never seen the sun before. Kwangsoo said for the past couple of days, she didn’t. She still looked pretty though.

Kwangsoo immediately greeted her and gave her a long hug. He then took her to the living room and offered an empty couch. Deanna just smiled weakly.

“Wow, this apartment is nice. It feels great to see you again, guys,” that was the first line of words she said since she came. But she was aware of the tension around her. She was tensed too. Kwangsoo said it was best for them to talk about it. Deanna couldn’t agree more. And to be honest, she was ready to talk. “So... How do we start this?”

“Uhm... I-I think it is best for you to start,” Seokjin stammered. “Do you have anything to say?”

“I actually do. I have a lot of things to say,” she simply said, but her eyes didn’t take away slight from Jongkook, who was staring back intensively.

Jaesuk mentally gasped. He knew she was angry or something, to Jongkook of course. He was also about to blow up when he had to deal with him. But above all, he could see a glimpse of pain and hurt in her eyes. His throat felt like to throw up just by looking at her.  He couldn’t.

“Sure. You can start.”

Deanna nodded and took a very hard disappointed big breath. She glanced at Kwangsoo who was slightly nodding at her. Kwangsoo had been the person who always reassured her. He was trying to reassure her at that time. But it seemed not working as usual.

Her eyes shifted to Yoo Jaesuk. He looked nervous. He was frightened. He was anticipating on what she was going to say. But above all, he was frowning from his eyes. A sudden urge of sadness came to her like a flood. She couldn’t look at him anymore.

She took another deep breath, now facing completely to Jongkook. She knew Jongkook was a great guy. They actually talked few times before. But there was something in him that created this wall around him and his friends. That she couldn’t understand fully. That she was mad about. And that look on his face was enough to make something inside her snapped. Here we go.

“Kim Jongkook-ssi, I know you don’t like me. You will never do. But what happens between me and Jaesuk-oppa on the news and on our daily basis is for us to handle. I was truly offended when you suddenly called me at late night and told me to stay away from your friend. I’m sorry, but I don’t take orders from someone who doesn’t even respect me!” Deanna didn’t realize that she was already ranting nor she care. “There, I said it.”

“I didn’t tell you to stay away from him—”

“You meant it that way,” Deanna raised her eyebrows.

“Well maybe I did. I want it that way.” Jongkook barked in return, already leaning forward as if he was ready to charge.

“Jongkook-ssi. You know, if you didn’t start yelling to Deanna and Kwangsoo, this meeting wouldn’t happen,” Jaesuk simply commented.

“Ah~ so at the end of the day, this is my fault?”

“Yes and no.”

“No? Kwangsoo, which sides are you?” Jaesuk scoffed.

“I’m not taking sides. Can I take the turn to speak now?” Kwangsoo shrugged at the sudden silence. “Thank you. Now, I have to agree with Jaesuk-ssi. Jongkook-hyung could’ve just at least said it nicely to Deanna, without all raged up. It was, after all, only an opinion.”

“Yes!”

“—but, at one certain point, I feel that with Deanna entering your friend zone, you, Jaesuk-ssi has changed.”

“That’s what I meant!” Jongkook exclaimed.

“What do you mean I have changed?!—”

“Listen. I still cannot figure whether the change is good or bad, but you definitely changed. Let’s check the simple thing; for example you are much more exposed to public, you know that?” Kwangsoo turned to the older hyung, who was shaking his head in annoyed.

“That’s supposed to be good stuff, right?” Jaesuk snorted.

“I told you, I still can’t figure it out. But like last year you barely went out home to mall or something. And now every time I google you name, I find new news about you spotted in this mall, that restaurant, this book store. To me, that doesn’t make any sense.”

“What do you mean that doesn’t make any sense—”

“Hyung, Kwangsoo is actually making sense,” Haha pointed out. “There is no way that a very private man like you, Jaesuk-hyung, all of the sudden have a great intention to go out at night at a mall. I mean, you and a mall... There’s got to be some sort of explanation.”

“Thank you Haha!!” Jongkook exclaimed. “That’s what I’m upset about, Hyung. You drastically changed. I personally think those are bad changes. And you changed after you met that woman!”

“You dare pointing finger at me?!” Deanna stood up, but she was held back down by Jihyo. She knew Deanna could turn physical, Deanna and Jongkook both were. So it was unwise to start a fight in the middle of an unfinished debate. Deanna took a sad breath and held Jihyo hands, “That’s just delusional. He is an adult. He can do what he wants to do.”

“But what he wants to do doesn’t make any sense,” Seokjin said slowly.” Look, I’ve known Jaesuk for thirty years of my life. I have to admit, Jaesuk acts different lately.”

“So now it was my mistake now, for following what I want?” Jaesuk defended.

“Do you know what you really want, Jaesuk-ah?” Seokjin asked and Jaesuk became quiet.

What he really wanted? Probably twenty years ago Jaesuk would easily answer the question. He wanted to achieve his dream. He wanted to be famous. He wanted to be known to the good stuff he spread to a lot of people in the nation. He wanted happiness. He wanted a family. He wanted a wife and three kids, two boys and one girl—

Oh.

Oh no.

“Oppa, is everything alright—Oppa, where are you going?” Jihyo was abruptly caught off guard when he just stood up and grabbed his jacket already.

“I-I can’t. I’m sorry, I have to go,” with a blink of an eye, Jaesuk was gone and no one even dare to stop him. They just stood there in silence, trying to get together with everything going on.

“Pfft, what a man,” Jongkook sneered.

“Jongkook-ah, be quiet!” Seokjin glared at him. Jongkook frowned slightly and lowered his head, like a son to a father. Seokjin sighed and leaned back on the couch. “I thought I could understand him. Now I don’t. Something’s is bothering him and, as a friend, I can’t even see it.”

“We all can’t,” Kwangsoo shook his head in defeat. “But does that really matter anymore? To understand him?”

“To me it doesn’t,” Jongkook stood up and put on his jacket. “What matters is how to save him,” Jongkook gave one sharp glance at Deanna as he walked pass her, before heading out and disappeared behind the closed door.

The living room was immediately empty as people started to go home. But Gary could still feel the tension lingered in his apartment. It felt like it was haunted him. For once he finally admitted that he regretted offering his place for the fun talk.
