"Merry Christmas!" Taemin was awoken to that being shouted in his ear and a present being stuffed in his face, a grinning Minho being the culprit. Minho was Taemin's college roommate of three years and a constant companion for the holidays. It was rare for either of them to spend the money for a trip home, so they usually spent the break together and holed up in their dorm, playing video games or watching t.v. But it was a general rule of thumb that they either didn't do gifts or if they did, they were cheap.

Pulling a box out from underneath his bed, Taemin presented the slightly terribly wrapped present to Minho. He had never been good at both holding down the paper and taping it at the same time, so it usually looked like an eight year old wrapped it. Minho still looked happy about it, so that was all that mattered. Taking the beautifully wrapped bundle from Minho, Taemin unwrapped it with the grace of a lawn mower, but stopped, eyes wide as he picked up the grey fabric. "B-but isn't this your only prized possession?" Minho simply shrugged at that, face completely serious as he said "Not as precious as you. Or this." He held up the soccer ball that Taemin bought him. If he wasn't so hell-bent on being a professional athlete, Minho could be an actor. Which is probably why he was minoring in theatre.

But then he started to chuckle and Taemin was sure it was because his face was as red as a tomato. "Thank you." There was a big smile on his face and Minho bopped his nose. "Now, what do you want to watch today?" Taemin thought for a moment before shaking his head. "Nothing. I'm finally going to beat you at Mario Kart though."

All in all, it was a good Christmas.
