Lee Hope and Im Jaebum are the best of friends, and have been since they were twelve. But when life tears them apart at age twenty, Hope finds herself unable to move or breathe in the crushing grief that suffocates and haunts her with every breath.

Could a midnight phone call to a suicide hotline possibly change anything?

Might the voice on the other end of the line bring relief?

Can her dead heart find new life?

This competition is one of the main reasons (or excuses, depends on how you see it hehe) that finally drew me out of my AFF reader-only shell. Which means this is actually my first fic here, so both kindness and constructive criticism are welcome/appreciated. ^^

Chapter 1: Wow, it's pretty stunning.. The story itself is pretty short and light, but the meaning of it is much more important, heavier and more excellent! :)
Seriously, I've never lost anyone that close to me, so I can't feel her pain, but even to me the story has a motivating feel! :)

Chapter 1: I've never lost someone so significant so I can't fully relate to Hope's emotions but through your story I think I understand grief better

Chapter 2: Hi, I think you should continue to write. This story is very simple and a bit short cause it's a one shot of course but it gives so much. I'm reading happiness, melancholy, sadness, numbness and of course hope in your story and I love it. I know my English doesn't make sense but I love this. You make me cry at 455pm in the afternoon and I don't mind. I'm the type of person who is very hard to express or even share her feelings with others so this hits home. I can relate.

Chapter 2: Omg this story is so precious !! I loved every bit of it. I can't imagen the heart break and the lose Hope felt when jae dead it is so hard, and u descriped everything beautifully. I love ur writing style and it made me feel the story. Also I liked the plot I think it is beautifully painful, it is new and everything. I like the idea of the hotline also how they meet in the first time and tge second time. Though this is a oneshot but it gave me feelings long stories maybe won't. I hope i can read more and more from you cuz this definitely was awesome ^^

Personally I don't like to read a story that have the dead character but you write this so well. Her name is hope for a reason :) happy new year author nim
