Set in an ancient Chinese backdrop where Xiang Yun, who's the legal and first wife of Crown Prince Yan (Yixing), has lost her memories along with her husband. They both seem to have forgotten the affection they bore towards each other in the past. The Crown Prince is rather happy spending his time with his favorite Consort Xue. 

However, somebody in the palace is scheming to bring Xiang Yun down. Will Crown Prince Yan take her side when she's framed or will he turn his back against her?

The story revolves around Xiang Yun, who would rather be free than be trapped in the Imperial Palace with a husband she doesn't love.

Contains all sort of planning, scheming and betrayal you could expect in a palace.

The story is written mainly in Xiang Yun's point of view, so you'd never know what's going on in Prince Yan's mind which makes it very interesting.

Nothing is straight-forward, the plot is twisted in many ways and one can never guess what would happen next.
