Mariejo – Surprise Gift

Min’s P.O.V

It’s 2 days before Christmas! The whole of JYP nation decided to celebrate together on Christmas day. I decided to go out shopping with the rest of Miss A decided to go out shopping and buy stuff for the others. Suzy and Fei are assigned to find presents for Wonder Girls while me and Jia are going to find presents for 2pm. Honestly, I don’t know what they would like. I mean we’re girls right?
So I decided to call a good friend of mine.

“Yeobuseyo?”
“Ah! Joonie oppa!”
“Min? Ah nee Min ah?”
“Oppa, what do guys like?”
“Guys?”
“Nee! Im planning to buy something for 2PM but I don’t know what they like”
“Well, something manly? Maybe.. Oh! The best present for a guy would be going out with a girl!”
“Are you sure?”
“Nee! Positive!”
“Arasso, kamsahamnida oppa and have a happy early Christmas!”
“Nado!”

I hang up and told Jia what he said.
“You mean, like a date?”
“I guess so”
“Great! I’ve always wanted to.. uhm, nevermind”
“Wanted to what? Come onnnn!” I .
“Ani! Kaja, let’s go find the other 2”
I just frowned at her. What was she keeping from me?
“Ani!”

I pulled her back
“You’re gonna tell me what you wanted to say or I won’t let you go!”
“Ani! I didn’t say anything! It suddenly came out from my mouth”
“Aha! So that means you have something to say!”
I threatened her to say what she was going to say. After 10 minutes, she finally gave in.
“Alright alrgiht! I’ll tell you, but you gotta release my wrist”

I released her and looked at her.
“I honestly uhm.. want to go out with Nickhun oppa”
“You want to wha—“
“Shh! Now come on and don’t speak a word about this to the other 2 arasso?!”
I just nodded at her.

Soon we left and got in a jewelry shop. Of how I envy Suzy and Fei to shop here.
“So have you found anything for 2PM oppas?”
I looked over to Jia and she was shaking her head.
“Ani, we don’t know what to get them.”
The nodded and soon we left and went back to our dorm

-Night-
It was finally night time. My throat was dry so I decided to get up and get a glass of milk. I went to the living room and to my shock Jia was sitting on the couch looking at her phone. I decided to go get my glass of milk. The I went back to the living room and jumped on the couch.
“Omo! Yah you could almost make me shout!”
“Mian, what’re you looking at”
“Ani. It’s nothing”

I snatched her phone away and looked at her. Why was she hiding her face? I looked over to her phone to see that she was messaging Nickhun . I gave a small smirk and scrolled down to read the rest.
“Omo! You asked him out?!”
“Shh! They could hear you, and yeah” She replied the last part softly.
“Im so excited for you!”
“Yah! What about you?”
“I’ve got no one”

She looked at me and raised her eyebrows.
“No one? What about Wooyoung? I know you like him!”
I blushed a little.
“Wait, so you do like Wooyoung?!”
“Aish! Go back to sleep!”
I placed the glass in the sink and went off to sleep.

-Next day-
I woke up by the sound of our doorbell ringing. I walked lazily to the door.
“Nee?” I said in a sleepy tone.
“Min!” My pupils grow bigger to hear 2PM’s voice. I looked up and there they were! 6 guys standing in front of my house!
“AHH!” I slammed the door.
I then opened the door and peeked my head out.
“Wait here”

I shut the door once again and ran towards the others.
“GIRLS! WAKE UP WAKE UP!”
“What is it now” Suzy whined.
“2PM!!”
“What’s with them?”
“THEY’RE HERE!”
All of them got up and rushed to the mirrors or bathroom
I then went back to the front door.

I took in a deep breath and opened the door.
“Come in” I said sheepishly.
As they went in I could smell Wooyoung’s perfume
“So uhm, why are you guys here?”
“We need to ask you something” Taecyeon said.
“Okay”
“What do girls like?”

I was frozen, then Fei started to talk about what we liked. I looked over Jia and Nickhun, they were laughing away. What’s wrong with them? Then I just remembered. I need to ask Wooyoung out!
I walked over to Wooyoung.
“Uhm hi”
“Hey”
I rubbed my neck before continuing.
“Uhm, on Christmas, do you want to—“
“Yah Wooyoung come here for awhile!”
Wooyoung faced me before he spoke
“Sorry, I can’t”

Then he went of to Junho.

-Christmas-
I was in the JYP building celebrating with Sohee, Junsu and the manager. Why only us? Because the rest got their dates already. Wooyoung’s not here, so that must mean he have a date. I decided to leave since it’s very boring with just the 4 of us.

I was walking with my head down until I bumped onto someone.
“Sorry” I apologized without even looking who.
“Min?”
My head quickly looked up. It was Wooyoung!
“Im sorry Woo—“
I was being stopped when he pushed me to the wall.
“Where have you been?” a smile formed on his face.

“Me? I’ve been trying to ask you out. But you were always not there”
His smile got wider.
“Well, here”
He passed me a big box. I opened the box to find a letter sitting in it.
‘Sure, let’s go out.’
I looked up at him.
“Thanks but I—“
Soon I felt warm lips onto mine. I opened my eyes to see Wooyoung kissing me. I was surprised at first, but then I started to kiss back.
‘What a surprise gift Wooyoung’ I smirked in the kiss.
