I have ordinary friends. I go to a ordinary school. I live an ordinary life. I am ordinary.

A noise alerts me of a new skype message. I ignore it. A text message alerts me of my soon to be due homework. I ignore it. It’s not like I am going to do it anyways. Someone hollers my name from the kitchen. I ignore it.

I glance down at my long forgotten history textbook. 4 hours wasted on homework I was gonna copy off of someone tomorrow anyways. Another buzz from my phone tells me that another one of my friends needs help on AP homework again.

That is my daily routine.

Living a monotonous life. Nothing happens. I don’t try hard, I don’t work hard, and I don’t want to care. But I have to.

Because I am not myself. I have no control over what I will become, what I’ll eat, what I’ll learn, who I am. I am not me, but just a shell. A very ordinary shell. Surrounded by blindingly beautiful souls and intelligent minds inside elegant bodies.
