To Seunghyub, Jaehyun shined the brightest. Not only was it because of the boy’s wide smile, but it was also because of his kind and charming personality. Seunghyub hated it.

He hated that his heart would grow excited just at the mere thought of the younger boy. This was the kind of effect Jaehyun had on him.

Seunghyub told himself long ago that he wouldn’t fall in love ever again. Apparently, his heart had other plans. Without any consent his heart throbbed and ached whenever he was around Jaehyun. Soon, his brain went along with it, and all he could think about was him.

Seunghyub should have never offered the younger his umbrella that cold and rainy day. He should have just stuck to his same old routine, and ignored the boy. It was a heartless thing to do, he knew that. At that time, the wounds under his skin were already scars. However, the memories of all the pain still stayed buried deep inside his mind and even his soul.

What else was he supposed to do then? The expression of gratitude on Jaehyun’s face that day was also something he couldn’t forget. That and the sweet vanilla aroma that lingered on the younger’s pink lips. Seunghyub knew that he was also at fault. He knew that he was entering a ‘no going back' zone the second he accepted Jaehyun’s offer to meet again.

No, Seunghyub never expected to feel this way ever again, but it definitely didn’t mean that he regretted it. He didn’t realize it then but now was different. To Seungyhub, meeting Jaehyun was their destiny.
