Yoojin lightly rapped on the door of her parents’ bedroom, to find herself edgily searching for words as two heads whipped around to face her.

“Yes darling, what’s the matter?”

Yoojin fervently sprung into her loving mother’s arms and snuggled against the elder, the tears in her eyes threatening to flow, “…I’m going to study in a boarding school for boys.”

The mother’s eyes widened in bewilderment and silently stared at her daughter for a good few minutes, struggling to convince herself of the latter’s sanity.

“Brother JR promised to come home if I’m able to survive in the school for one month, thirty days isn’t that long after all.” She took in a deep breath and flashed her parents a reassuring smile, the rate of her heartbeat exceeding a human's limit as she waited for her parents' answer.

A few hours later in the compound of Seoul Boarding School for Boys, Yoojin hugged her mother farewell and waved goodbye to her father. She fought back the tears as her father’s white Porsche was slowly driven out of sight.

She then lifted her luggage and decided to head for the school office, before she caught a boy smirking at her. Yoojin…
