Last Chapter Recap:

Park Shin Hye disguise herself as a trainee in Femme Magazine. She met the Flower Boys of Femme there which include: her supposedly secretary Jung Yong Hwa and his gank, Jung Il Woo, Kang Min Hyuk and Yoo Seung Hoo. Jung Il Woo challenged Yong Hwa to take the nerdy In Ha (Shin Hye) to the company anniversary party. When he was trying to win the bet, Yong Hwa found out about Shin Hye's real identity and fell in love with her. They decided to date. In the party, Shi Hoo - her second cousin - played the recording of the night when Yong Hwa and Il Woo made the bet, infuriating Shin Hye. She decided to assume the director's position and shook things up by re-shuffling the human resource in the company.  Ye Jin, her bestfriend, found out that Shin Hye was an heiress and was furious. Shin Hye decided to move back to the mansion. Shin Hye's brother Hyung Sik was back in Seoul, befriended Yong Hwa and helped him when Shin Hye wanted the theme of December edition changed in last minute. Belle Magazine issued its edition with the same theme as Femme, but it turns out Shin Hye planned the whole thing and published the original theme. Yong Hwa moved in to her old apartment and decided to win her back. Shin Hye went to a party held by Belle and met Kim Tan, her first love. She found out that their date was ruined by So Ra 7 years ago. In the party, So Ra announced that they would be holding a fashion show at the same time as Femme and working with Femme's models. Shin Hye decided to carry on the show, build up a team to organize the fashion show in one month. She held an MT to build teamwork between the people that she chose. After the MT, the team became solid and on the first meeting Shin Hye announced that she will change the whole concept of the fashion show.

---o0o---

The 4x4 meeting room on the 16th floor of Star Media Building was awfully quiet, there were eight people in attendance but none of them said a single word. One of the people there, a girl, looked at her friends in concern, worried that some of them stopped breathing; while the other seven looked at her in disbelief. The news that she relayed a few seconds had them in a state of shock.

How was it possible? How could someone organize an international event, that would be attended by the biggest name of fashion industry, the most glamour industry there was, and thus highly anticipated by the world; all in 25 days? To top it of? They did not even have any models to work with!!

"You really have to go with a bang, do you??" Hyung Sik said with a smirk. He was not expecting the news but he was not surprise either, he should have had guess that his sister would always go the hard way.

"Er, is it too late for me to bail?" Seung Ho asked skeptically.

"Director, there's a limit for being eccentric. And this is just crossing the limit..." Hyo Rin said with worried look. "Twenty five days!! How do you suppose we organize a fashion show in that much of time??!" she exclaimed.

"I have to agree with Editor Min, we already have enough problems with the model. Why don't we just focus on that problem and carry on as is..." Il Woo added. He turned to his bestfriend, "Yong Hwa-ya, say something!" he hoped the bestfriend would back them up since it was the topic they just discussed before the Director walked in.

Shin Hye turned to her Creative Director and looked at him dejectedly, scared of yet another rejection. The man looked at her gently, actually he agreed with his friends; but knowing her, she must have had a very good reason of making the decision.

"Why?" he asked softly.

"Yong-a!!?" Il Woo yelled, he was afraid his friend was letting personal matter clouded his professionalism.

"Ya! No matter how close we are right now, she's still our Director! Let's hear her out... she must have reason for deciding this!!" Yong Hwa snapped back, his friends was taken aback by his outburst; they slowly turned to Shin Hye expecting her reason.

Shin Hye heaved a deep sigh, "Okay! Remember when we discuss about this before we head back to Seoul? Hyung Sik threw an idea that made me think..." everybody turned to Hyung Sik, the guy jerked from the sudden spotlight.

He looked at his sister quizzically, "Me?" he pointed his nose in confusion.

"The fact that Belle might have the same concept with us." the attendees had a sudden change in expression, "I knew Kang So Ra from way before, back in Highschool. And it is not a statement of jealousy when I say that she was not a creative person, I don't know about the rest of the people there... but she is the decision maker so I assume she practically represented the whole company. I'd say we do it like we did our December edition, surprise them with something unexpected!"

"Bottom line, you believe that they are copying our concept and thus wanted the preparation of our event to be done in discreet?" Yong Hwa tried to back her up.

"Exactly! I notice that we have almost never change our concept for the last three years and because we don't have any competitor, each events was considered a success. But this year is different... we have a direct competitor, there's a high probability that the competitor will hold the exact same thing as us, in addition... they have more budget than us. Which mean they could make it bigger, merrier, more interesting than us. If we stick to our original concept, we are practically ran over by them. And all of our effort will go down the drain..." Shin Hye explained patiently, she intentionally went with a gentler approach since the team was basically on the same boat, she just needed to direct the boat according to her wish.

"I have to agree with my sister on this..." Hyung Sik suddenly spoke up, "It's go big or go home!" he sensed that the rest of the team was beginning to accept the idea. "Do you have a plan?" he asked his sister.

"Yes!" Shin Hye said without flinching which earned interested look from her colleagues. "They go with haute couture we go with the opposite, everyday-fashion. Our target market is not the high class, celebrities and 1% of women in South Korea. It's the working class women, the one who ride the subway, work 9-5, shop in Myeongdong. Our readers. We show them how to look good without having size zero. We are changing the concept of our magazine, right? To make it more human instead of just fashion, so this is a good chance also to reach our reader and let them see that we do care about them as human and that fashion is not only for skinny models but for everyone!"

"Which is a good concept, since we don't have any size-zero-models to work with." Yong Hwa chimed in.

"So... sorry I asked, this is the first time I'm involved in a fashion show event..." Seung Ho said, "Does this mean we worked only with low-middle class designer to show their collection? Wouldn't that mean degrading ourselves? Can we interest the VIPs to come to our event with that kind of show?"

"He's right? How do we generate revenue with that kind of attendees?" Il Woo asked.

Shin Hye squinted her eyes in delight, she could feel that her idea had warmed up to them. "That's the catch... we are not doing it like regular fashion show. Usually we just created an event where designer shows off their collection, right? They decide the theme, they decide which collections they want to show and so forth. However! In this event, we are doing the creative process... well, technically Editor Min is..." Shin Hye looked at the editor expectantly.

Hyo Rin raised both eyebrows, surprised with the sudden spotlight. "Deh?!"

"I want this show to represent what Femme is, the creativity, the dedication and the talented people behind it. So I was hoping, you as our ace, the Fashion editor could show the world how to dress properly. Show the commoner women out there how to become fabulous like with commoner budget. We'll engage with several big names designer but you'll be combining it with stuff people could find in Dongdaemun or other lower budget store. Because that is what common women do. Not everybody could wear Chanel from head to toe, we tend to have only one branded item and combine it with other. Now you can show them how it's done!" Shin Hye explained excitedly.

"Whoa!! It's like being a personal stylist... creating a trend!" Soo Jung exclaimed.

"And isn't that what you always do with your mannequin??" Yong Hwa teased, "You're always busy dressing them up with clothes from our collection." Shin Hye eyed Yong Hwa curiously, starting to understand what he was doing.

"But of course, you will carry the most weight in this show..." Shin Hye looked at the Editor in concern, "But if you pull through, which I'm sure you will, people will see the true Femme and thus hopefully elevate our brand more than Belle."

Hyo Rin stared at Shin Hye, contemplating the idea that was slowly tempting her. She felt someone nudged her arm and saw Il Woo beside her, giving her an encouraging smile. After awhile she turned to Shin Hye again, "I would need a help in the lower budget part, it's not my area of expertise." branded clothing was she ever worked with.

Shin Hye shrugged her shoulder, "Well, you have an aspiring designer who went in and out of Dongdaemun and Myeongdong like her own house, as an assistant." she peered at Soo Jung whose smile as wide as humanly possible.

"So?! Are we doing this??!" Yong Hwa exclaimed, asking Hyo Rin her agreement. The girl looked at her colleagues who were staring at her expectantly, a smile slowly curled on her face as she nodded vigorously.

"Assa!!!" Shin Hye cheered, followed by the others. Soo Jung clapped excitedly and hugged her boss, she finally had her chance to channel her designing passion.

"But this has not solve our revenue problem? Do you think our guest would want to buy our collection?" Il Woo played devil's advocate.

"Now that is where you came in!!" Shin Hye pointed at Min Hyuk.

The room fell silent again, for the umpteenth time that morning. They looked at their Director in awe, amazed at how much she had put into thoughts for the event. Yong Hwa stared at her in full admiration, he thought he ran out of reason for it but she proof herself to always be unpredictable, in a good way.

"Me?" Min Hyuk asked curiously.

"Aside of the tech-y skill that I need you to do for the event, like the annual anniversary, I want you to create a website for our show. An auction website, you know like e-bay, to bid for Editor Min's collection. So right after a model shows off a collection on the runway, it will appear on the website and available for people to purchase within two hours after the event. In special price or some sort. It can be bought as a whole or partially. And the sales result should come in a few hours after the event." Shin Hye explained, she saw interested look on her team. "Can you do it?"

Everybody turned to Min Hyuk simultaneously, he playfully shrugged his shoulder. "Meh! Should be easy... I can do it!" Seung Ho head-pushed his bestfriend, which welcomed with a mocking cheer by the others.

"Arasso! I knew you could do it." Shin Hye exclaimed excitedly.

"So what do you guys, say!? Let's do it?" Hyung Sik asked for their confirmation. The team looked at each other with a new determination light on their eyes. They slowly nodded, it gave chills to Shin Hye. "Super! It's a go, Sis!!"

"Yay!! Thank you... So here's my plan!" Shin Hye said.

"There's more!?" Hyung Sik yelled impatiently, "I was hoping for a cup of coffee already!" he pouted.

"Shut up! We're not leaving this room until the plan for each person is finalized. The minute you guys are out of this room, its for work... work... work.. and work!" Shin Hye frowned.

Hyung Sik shook his head, "And you wondered why they call you the devil??" he made a face at his sister, she instinctively raised her hand to smack him. "Hut!! One month, remember!?" he said while covering his head.

Shin Hye groaned, "So listen up... Min Hyuk-shi, Hyo rin-shi and Soo Jung-shi. You pretty much know your role in this event, right? Like I said, beside the website, you need to do the tech-i thingy like the one you did for our annual anniversary party, got that!?" she said to Min Hyuk, which replied with a two-finger salute by the nerd.

"Il Woo-shi, you're the casting director. Remember! We don't want the size-zero models for our event, find someone that is in normal size and could represent women in South Korea." Shin Hye said to Il Woo, the guy frowned at the instruction but nodded nonetheless. "Work together with Hyo Rin, so you'll know what kind of models she needed."

"That should be fun!" Yong Hwa teased but suddenly screamed in pain because someone just pinched him. He looked to his right and glowered to his sister.

"Let's have different kind of women in terms of sizes. The underweight, the ideal weight and the plus sizes. Because then the show would be representative for every women." Hyo Rin suddenly spoke up.

Shin Hye smiled proudly at her, putting her thumb up and said. "Now we're talking!!"

"Can I use anyone as our model? Doesn't have to be a runway model, right?" Il Woo asked seriously.

"Anyone... the sky is your limit. But I prefer not to use anyone that was on Belle's stage that night!!" Shin Hye squinted her eyes letting out her grudge to the models. "You know... in case they ask to join us... which I'm sure they won't... because they pay them better..." she trailed off.

"Oy! Focus!!" Hyung Sik snapped his finger in front of her, the team pursed their lips watching the Park sibling's antics.

Shin Hye came back to her senses, "Where was I? Okay... any question Il Woo-shi?" the guy shook his head. "Seung Ho-shi! You're in charge for everything else that had not been handled except for food and beverage. Decoration, DJ, equipment, et cetera. I believe you know what to do to held an event like this, right?"

"How did you...?" Seung Ho asked curiously, did not expect the Director to know his side jobs of organizing events.

"You did a good job at the annual anniversary, and as I recall you held a birthday slash victoria secret party a few months ago, right!?" Shin Hye said.

Seung Ho looked at her in awe, "I'm not an assistant anymore, but you're right, I did organize that party." He bragged which was a perfect moment for his bestfriend to retaliate and face-pushed him.

"Oh! Also... I need you to handle the marketing. Find another person to help you if required, we'll sign an agreement with him. We need a videographer to cover the show and feed the video to the website. Work with Min Hyuk for that, okay!?" Shin Hye said while glancing at her note.

"Aye, aye captain!!" he winked at his bestfriend and seemed to already exchanged ideas telepathically.

"I can help him!" Hyung Sik chimed in.

"No! I have another plan for you!" Shin Hye cut him off, the brother pouted. "Yong Hwa-ya?" She called.

"O!?" he answered expectantly.

"Field coordinator! You're in charge for the d-day, okay?" she stared at him sharply.

Yong Hwa smiled gently, "Yes, Mam!" he answered. It was a simple answer but it warmed the hearts of all the people in the room. They practically saw hearts floating outside of the Creative Director. The room went silent for awhile as they devour the lovey dovey atmosphere.

"Ahem!" Shin Hye diverted her sight back to her notes. "Hyung Sik! You're the overall PIC and the host for the night." she said finally.

"Mwo!?" the majority of people exclaimed.

"Aren't you supposed to be the host!? You're the director, you're the one whose putting her on the line, you should be the one to get the glory!!" Hyung Sik yelled.

Shin Hye chuckled, which made the others frowned in disbelief. "I'm still putting my on the line, if we screw this up, I'm still resigning from the Director's seat. Therefore, please save my .." she joked which earned an annoyed look from the brother, the one who usually joked about everything. "But you!! You!! You need to be introduced to the world, my brother!" she looked at his eyes, trying to send a message. Hyung Sik eventually understood what she was trying to say and hung his head, "So put on your best tux and comb your hair up, because you'll be the face of Femme for the night. I'll be cheering you from the guest's chair." she smiled weakly, Hyung Sik looked at her sympathetically. "Beside, it's your concept we're running...." she added.

The brother looked at her in confusion, "What concept?" he did not recall talking about any concept with her.

"Remember the underground fashion show that you attended in New York, the one you wanted to held back home?" Shin Hye asked, Hyung Sik lit up remembering their conversation almost half a year in prior. "Uh-huh! Let's do something like that... we'll do it in a warehouse, turned it into a street dance kind of venue and put the runway in the middle. You're the one who attended the show, so you need to guide us about it. Hence, the overall PIC."

Hyung Sik heaved a deep sigh, he realized that his sister already thought about everything and there was no time to argue or try to find another concept. "Fine! As long as you're happy, Sis!" he said eventually.

"Awesome! We're going to break alot of fashion rule in South Korea! It will be scandalous!" Shin Hye said with determine eyes, like a soldier ready for battle.

---o0o---

A black luxurious SUV entered a parking lot of an expensive Japanese restaurant, it was one of the well known restaurant famous for its food and its private rooms. A common place for celebrities, high ranking officials or chaebol to do their meeting. The parking lot was almost empty, there were not many cars parked there as it was just a few minutes after dark, still a few hours before dinner rush.

Shi Hoo stepped out of his car, lighted a cigarette and stood in the parking lot finishing the smoke. He was not a heavy smoker before, more like a social one, however lately he seemed to increase the frequency and decrease the interval of his cigarette. It helped him ease the tension that he got from work which had been haunting him for quite some time.

Like being trapped in a quick san. He thought that that was the best quote to represent him. Again and again he said that to himself. He kept making stupid decision that caused him to take another wrong road. He wanted to take over the Director position from his cousin, he believed that it was for her own good and safety; but now he ended up here, in a secret place, having a rendezvous with someone that he knew would not be approved by his cousin. Anyone who saw that meeting he was about to have, would never thought that he was doing all that for the greater good.

After the cigarette was done, he put it away and plodded to the restaurant. The hostess greeted him and immediately led him to one of the private rooms, slided the door and invited him into the beige coloured room. The minimalist room had shojis that were covering a window facing a river, there were four low chairs available and the dining table were already filled with sushis and sashimis eventhough the guest had not arrived yet.

Shi Hoo sat on one of the chair facing the window, which was a perfect place to ponder about the meeting. Why the person wanted to meet? What other business that person would want to have with him? He knew he was practically useless when he was ousted from the fashion show committee, he tried the hardest to be included without attracting any suspicion. In the end he could only give up to the fact that he would not be in the team but instead handling the January edition.

The shoji that led to the hallway opened, the hostess came back to usher the other two guests, a sophisticated young lady and a plump man. They entered the private room and sat in front of him. The lady smiled cheerfully at Shi Hoo while the man timidly greeted him, he was clearly afraid of the ex-boss.

"Shi Hoo-shi! We're late, aren't we? Come let's have dinner first! I'm famished!" So Ra said while grabbing a chopstick and picked up a tuna belly sashimi.

Shi Hoo looked at her, contemplating whether he should do as she asked. He finally decided to play along, grabbed the chopstick and ate his dinner. The room went silent for awhile, only the sound of people munching was heard.

"So! How's the preparation for the fashion show?" So Ra asked without diverting her attention from her food.

Shi Hoo froze for awhile but soon resumed eating, "Good, I guess..." he answered briefly.

"Still doing it in Dongdaemun Plaza?" she asked again.

"Maybe..." he answered.

So Ra frowned and stopped eating, did not like his answer one bit. "What do you mean, maybe?" she glowered.

"I wouldn't know since I'm not involve in the event." Shi Hoo said calmly, he knew she would not like that answer too.

"Mwo?!" she exclaimed, "And you decide to tell me that, now!?" she banged her chopstick.

"I don't see what the problem is..." He looked at her firmly.

"Problem!? The problem is I told you to prevent them from doing the fashion show, but you failed. And now I want you to spy on their preparations, but you failed on that too... and you didn't even tell me anything. We're fifteen days away from the event, I need to know what they are doing for it!!!" She shrieked. "Is there anything you can do?! You can't even do the simplest thing! And you expect me to make you director once I bought Femme!!!???"

Shi Hoo's face turned red from the insult, his heart started to beat rapidly. "Watch it, So Ra-shi! And let me get one thing straight... you are not making me director. I have a thousand ways to make myself director. You're just one of my plan, so don't treat me like I'm one of your employee!!" he countered.

"So what do you say about this mess? How can you as one of the management not know what happened inside your own company? Are you sure that they are not suspecting you, already??" she said, still shouting on top of her lungs.

"The ones who know all the detail are only eight persons, the rest of the team only knows a part of it." he was slightly offended when he found out that the total discretion was also applied to him. "Look, why do you need to know anything about the event any way! Trust me, Belle would hold a better event. Did I or did I not introduce you to manager Lee, gave you all the contact for the models. Your budget for the fashion show is so big, its impossible to beat it!"

"I need to be sure of that! We can not be careless even one bit. Now you go back to your office and do the best to get into the team. Find out what they are doing with the show!" She pointed to the door as if it was Femme.

"Again, let me remind you that I am not your slave. And I will not do as you told. If I keep pushing to be a team member they would surely suspect me. You just have to believe in yourself that Belle would have a better show!" Shi Hoo exclaimed.

"Ohoho... Don't get me wrong! I know my show will be a success, I just need a warranty. We have to distract Shin Hye to make sure that they fail!" She yelled.

"Jjogi... I have a way to distract her." They heard a timid but deep voice said. "I think I have a way to distract Director Park."

So Ra shot daggers at her new HR manager, "What? You mean terror her with childish graffiti and stupid text messages  like you did to her?" she shouted

The plump man surprised at her mockery, "Well! Well! Director Kang, don't insult me like that. It was working back then..." he said defensively.

So Ra scoffed, "What kind of success you are referring to when she ended up back in her old mansion? If anything, it brings her closer to her grand father and brother!" she yelled at the old guy. "Now do as I say! Get as much information about the show as possible and report back..."

Shi Hoo looked at her in disbelief, offended by her bossy behaviour towards him. He banged his hand and put the chopstick down, which made both of Belle's people jumped. She glowered at him when he stood up from the low dining table.

"I told you! I'm not your staff, stop acting like you own me. I did enough to help you with your show, if it still not succeed then it will all be your fault! This is the end of our meeting, and I hope you will not contact me ever again. Good evening!!" he turned around, pushed the shoji opened and vanished behind it.

So Ra fumed by his rebellion. Although she did not say it, she still needed him to spy on Shin Hye and helped to sabotage the show. She needed to make sure that Femme's fashion show would be a total disaster and it went into bankruptcy. She took out her phone from the purse and dialled a number.

She waited for awhile patiently before her call finally came through, "Hello!" she said with a faint smile. "Do as we planned!" she said to the phone, the faint smile grew wider and became a creepy chuckle.

---

Shi Hoo marched all the way to his car, took out his phone, dialled a number and put the phone on his ear. Whilst the other hand d inside his pocket and took out his car keys, opened the vehicle and went inside it. He waited behind the wheels for the personn on the other side of the line to answer.

"Yobuseyo! Good evening, Sir. I need to talk to you. Do you have time to meet me?" he asked expectantly.

He smiled a little from the answer, hung up the phone and immediately his car. His SUV was soon already back on the street heading to a bar in Gangnam where he would meet the person that may be able to help him achieve his ambition.

And as the black car penetrated the Seoul busy traffic, Shi Hoo convinced himself for the last time that snatching the director position from his cousin is for her own good. It's to prevent her from being attacked by his friend because of the recycle paper issue, and to save the company from falling further.

No! It was not because of his dream, not years of repressed ambition after acting as a Director whilst the true successor was out having fun in Paris. It was not because of the anger he felt when the Chairman always blindly accepted the grandchildren, when the fact was, he was the one who worked hard for him. No! It was not for personal ambition, it was totally for greater good.

He stared blankly at the wall full of liquor bottle in front of him, raised a half-full glass of whiskey but stopped in front of his face. He was already at the bar where the person told him to go to, and now was waiting for that person patiently as the guy was the type of person to be waited and not vice versa. His heart was still in turmoil, he knew that once he talked to this person, there was no going back. Coup-d'etat was on the way and he was on his path to become the Director.

Shi Hoo smirked imagining the face of the people who was behind her. Of course he would have to lay off a bunch of people. He coldly thought that sacrifices were necessary for the company's well being. The face of one particular person suddenly came into mind. He would love to see the face of his nemesis on the day when Board of Director appointed him as the new leader of Femme. Also, the day when he finally able to fire the man he hated so.

"Ahem! Good evening, Creative Director Park!" said a middle aged man, in a grey suit and a pair of glasses.

Shi Hoo jerked from his train of thoughts, he immediately stood up and bowed respectfully. "Good Evening, Sir! Thank you for seeing me in short notice!" he said.

The man nodded several times and gestured him to sit again, the man followed suit and ordered the same drink as Shi Hoo. "O! So what do you want to talk about?" he said when the drink came.

"I've decided to take your advice and pursue the Director position, President Lee!" Shi Hoo said with determine voice.

President Lee halted the glass in front of his mouth and turned to Shi Hoo, his smile slowly curved. "Well it's about time, Creative Director Park. You know that I will always support you when you want to be the Director." he finally sipped. "Ottoke? What do you want me to do?" he asked.

"Nothing, Sir. I will take care of everything. But when it's time and I need the support of the BoD, I am asking you to support me." Shi Hoo said.

President Lee lit up, "Ah! Yes... Yes... not a problem. You have at least three votes already. I will work on the rest of the BoD. Our main concern would be the Chairman and Director Park herself."

"Chairman and Director Park are my part. I have a plan for them...." Shi Hoo said while creepily observed his drink.

President Lee peered at the younger man, it was his first time he saw the man, or maybe the first time he noticed it, that he had a different light on his eyes. He was always quiet and determined. But that night, the ex-Creative Director's ambition was overflowing. It was as if he turned into a new person, someone President Lee never knew before.

"Great, so I'll start lobbying the other members of the board while you do whatever plan you have. I don't really have to know all about it." The old man washed his hands. "This is good, Director Park..." he said prematurely, "I already see a lot of opportunity to make Femme better once you become the Director. Femme and my company should work together to make Femme further into glory." he said excitedly.

Shi Hoo was stunned, he gazed at the older man and realized. Yes! There was no such thing as free lunches. He knew he was signing a deal with the devil to solve his agreement with the other devil. But he decided that he did not care, he would have to think about it later. Right now he had one goal only, to become the next Femme Director.

Soo Jung stood hugging herself on the pavement in front of a store in Dongdaemun area, she fixed her hoodies hoping that it could make her a bit warmer. It failed miserably as the day was pronounced as the coldest day that winter. She breath smoke as she waited in the alley that was almost deserted. One might wonder why she would want to stand outside in the dead of winter when she could lay back in a coffee shop drinking a hot chocolate while she wait.

The main reason was because she was waiting for her boss, one of the fiercest lady she had ever encountered and the fiercest one in her company. And the fact that the boss rarely went to that area was another reason for her to stand on the sidewalk and made sure that her boss did not lose her way. She looked at her watch, it was almost three, almost the time of their appointment. But there was still no sign of the editor.

Just as the clock struck three, a taxi pulled over in front of Soo Jung; the awaited woman stepped down of the vehicle and looked at Soo Jung. She smiled awkwardly as she approached her assistant. "I'm sorry I'm late." she said.

Soo Jung shook her head nervously, "Aniyeo, I'm early, Editor Min." she looked curiously at the big suitcase that Hyo Rin was carrying. "Are you going out of town?" she asked innocently.

Hyo Rin chuckled, which gave a more frightening effect than her roar. "This is the material that I want to work with, the designer clothing. Let's see if we can mix and match it with the Dongdaemun fashion."

Soo Jung lit up from the explanation, "Ah, Deh! What kind of store do you want to see first?"

The editor squinted her eyes, "Is there any plus sizes store in the area? Lets go with that niche first and get that out of the way."

"Arassoyo, it's this way." Soo Jung said in certain, she knew the area like the back of her hand.

They went to a store that was selling big sized clothing, Hyo Rin found a few celebrity models to represent the women in plus-sizes such as comedian, actresses and other public figures. Designer clothing rarely showcased in big sizes, so she needed to especially requested them through her connections. Now she just have to combine them with the clothing from mom-n-pop's shop to create a combination that was sophisticated yet affordable for every women.

Soo Jung opened the door and let her boss came in, she was immediately fixated to the dresses displayed on the racks and mannequin. Soo Jung greeted the owner warmly like two bestfriends, the banter caught Hyo Rin attention. She looked at her assistant and had some kind of revelation. After she exchanged greetings, Soo Jung approached her boss who was already sat on one corner, the suitcase was opened beside her revealing stacks of polaroid photos bound together in several groups. The photos were so many, it made Soo Jung bewildered.

"Woah! What is that, Editor Min?" she asked while taking one of the photo collection. "Is this..." she trailed off.

"It's our collection in the warehouse, I played with it and took pictures. I think we can use it to create something new." she said.

"Waah! So that's what you've been doing in your room with the mannequin." Soo Jung said in amazement.

Hyo Rin smiled at the praise, "You seem to know the owner very well..." she commented.

"Deh!? Deh... I always hung around here and Myeongdong. I know almost every owner here. I used to take courses and classes here and stopped by helping them whenever they needed help." Soo Jung said while studying the pictures. "So what do you want to do first?"

"Let's go with casual and office attire." Hyo Rin said while taking a stack of photos. "I've picked several collection that I want to try. Does your friend have mannequins that we can use?"

"Yes! She's happy that we might use her collection on the runway, she said we're free to roam her store." Soo Jung ran to the back of the store and came back carrying two large mannequins. She put them in front of the editor. "The casual clothing is at the back, while the dresses are in front. Let's go to the back if you want to start with casual first." she said.

They both went to the back part of the store and Hyo Rin began to ransack the store for any item that she wanted for her show, before long she took out a number of shirts, pants, skirts, tops, jackets and etc; putting them on the mannequin and took a picture using her instant camera. She then put the pictures to an album, wrote her notes on the pages and combined it with the pictures that she had. In the end she made an album of the wardrobe collection in pictures, all she needed to do was to decide which collections she wanted to go and combine them for real.

Soo Jung watched her boss work in awe, she was working very serious, structured almost methodological; Soo Jung never knew that fashion and army could be almost similar, because watching Hyo Rin worked was like watching a soldier formulate his war strategy. The young girl smiled knowingly after awhile, finally understood why Hyo Rin was in her position and gained Shin Hye's trust; because she was rightfully so. Soo Jung never saw anyone as passionate as Hyo Rin.

"Jjogi, Editor Min. Do you mind me asking?" she said timidly.

"Shoot!" she said without diverting her attention from the scarf that she was putting onto the mannequin.

"You liked to play with barbie dolls when you were a little, do you?" she joked.

Hyo Rin smiled, Soo Jung thought that soon she might get used to that rare occasion. "It's so obvious, isn't it? I loved my barbie. I think I was five when I first made a dress for it, a poncho that I made from my brother's handkerchief."

"So why didn't you become a designer instead?" Soo Jung asked.

"I guess I have more fun mixing and matching the ones that are already available than making it myself. Though I do have an interest in designing, but I hate sewing... my hands do not coordinate well with my brain." she joked.

Soo Jung smiled teasingly, "So this event must be something you wanted to do for a long time, yes?"

Hyo Rin halted and thought, "Maybe... now that you said it, maybe this kind of fashion show is the one that I really wanted to do. To express my thoughts about fashion in women, that every women should be able to wear anything they like to feel good about themselves; not to wear something shoved by designers or blindly followed the trend. Because trend is something that was made, by the business people to sell their product."

"Don't you think, your position is someone who created that trend? Women magazines are the ones who spread the trends among women. Creates propaganda about certain things so everybody mutually believes that it is indeed the trend.

"Yeah, I know what you mean... and you're right. My job specifically dictates women, making them to believe that something is in trend. And thus buys the item just as the industry wanted." She said with a straight face almost look like she was disappointed.

"You must be happy then with this new concept..." Soo Jung grabbed the instant camera and took a picture of the newly dressed mannequin. She was getting the rythm of her boss and began to help her.

Hyo Rin heaved a deep sigh, "Ani... I'm actually very nervous. Usually I showed my work on a magazine, so I have more confidence since the feedback does not come directly. But with the fashion show, I would be able to hear almost straight away whether they like it or not. And the fact that I have to do it in less then a month just added the stress factor." she said while putting the photo taken by Soo Jung and pasted it on her album.

"Don't worry Editor Min. We all have your back. We're going to work hard and not let the show fail. You will shine even brighter as the fashion editor, after this!" Soo Jung said encouragingly.

Hyo Rin chuckled, her heart became warmer at the younger girl's kind words. "Gomawo. Soo Jung-shi!" she said with a smile. "I think we have enough here..." she added while looking at her watch. They had spent four hours in just one store yet they still need to go to several other different stores.

"Deh, Editor Min... we should head back home, it's getting late!" Soo Jung said while helping her tidying up her gear.

"Home!? What do you mean, home!?" the boss barked. "We only finished one segment and we need to do the other segment!!" she explained.

"Gu rae? So how many segments do you have?" Soo Jung asked indifferently.

"Seven" she said without a single flinch.

"Your kidding right?!" Soo Jung bewildered; and as the boss shook her head firmly the thought sank in rapidly. That she could kiss the comfort of hot chocolate and a heater goodbye, because they might do all that for the whole day.

The elevator door of an apartment building opened on the 10th floor, Yong Hwa stepped out of the machine and saw a familiar hallway that he had not seen for awhile. He strutted to one of the door with a wide smile plastered on his face. He did not think he would ever stepped into that place again; but now that he did, he was glad that he was able to. It made him realize how much he missed the time he spent in that apartment.

He stopped in front of a door and instinctively pressed a series of number on the passcode box, when the door did not open, he frowned and pressed again thinking that he pushed the wrong one. He was halfway through when the door suddenly opened from inside of the unit. Il Woo was at the other side, looking very nervous.

"You changed the passcode?" Yong Hwa asked in disbelief.

Il Woo shrugged, "We were having a fight." he said defensively, while walking inside.

Yong Hwa scoffed, "And you think I would sneak into your apartment when we're fighting?!" he asked closing the door and caught up to the kitchen.

"I don't know... maybe... I was mad!" Il Woo opened a bag of chips and poured the content into a bowl.

The bestfriend walked over to the fridge to find a cold beverage for himself, "You're such a petty ex-boyfriend, aren't you?!" he said while closing the fridge, a cold can of beer in his hand.

"Ya! We just made up! Can't you show a little bit of courtesy and help!!" Il Woo protested.

"Nah! It was never our style!" Yong Hwa said indifferently while throwing himself to the sofa. He saw Min Hyuk's tablet on the table and Seung Ho's backpack beside the couch, "Where's the kids?" he asked while sipping the beer on his hand.

"To get the beers, the ones in my fridge are all expired." Il Woo said innocently while putting the snack on the dining table, their game table.

Yong Hwa choked on his beer, suddenly tasted the unfamiliar taste of a beer. "Blegh!! Why do you still keep them in your fridge, then??!" he protested.

Il Woo smirked, "Because you'll be shamelessly opened my fridge and took it without asking me."

"Aish!" Yong Hwa made a face at him and put the beer on the coffee table. "Hyung Sik is joining us... it's okay, right?" he shouted.

"O! He told me... I think he'll be here soon." Yong Hwa heard Il Woo from the kitchen. "Ya! I heard you live alone now! We should do the game night at your place for a change!"

Yong Hwa jerked, his eyes scrambled while thinking about an answer to dodge the request. "Er! My apartment is not as big as yours, there's no table for the game." he said without looking at his eyes.

Il Woo looked at the man quizzically, "And there's no floor in your apartment?"

"Nope... not enough space." Yong Hwa shook his head.

Il Woo was about to say something but interrupted by the doorbell, he finally let go and walked to the door to open it; he was sure he saw Yong Hwa sighed in relief just before he turned to the foyer. The room suddenly filled with the sound of men chatting happily when Il Woo came back, Min Hyuk, Seung Ho and Hyung Sik were behind him.

"Yaa!!! What a sight! Seeing Jung Yong Hwa sitting in Jung Il Woo's living room!!" Seung Ho teased.

"Ya! What took you so long?!" Yong Hwa fake-sulked. "Don't you know that it's awkward just the two of us?" he joked.

"What? Like lovers that are just reconciled?" Seung Ho played along, he sat on one of the armchair.

"I wouldn't know, never reconciled with an Ex before." Yong Hwa said indifferently. He belatedly realized what he said and suddenly felt a bit melancholy.

The other men felt the change of mood on him, they looked at each other knowingly. The room fell silent for a moment when they all took seat in the living room. The door to the toilet opened, Hyung Sik stepped out of it and skipped to the living room, oblivious by the awkward moment that just went on.

"Okay! I'm ready... what are we playing? Another round of drunken Jenga?" he joked which was welcomed with a loud groan from his friends. They all stood up and moved to the dining table. "Go Stop!!?" he exclaimed, "What a bunch of country bumpkins!" he teased.

The four men glowered at the new member, "Who invited him?" Seung Ho asked.

"I know, I think I had a temporary insanity." Il Woo said, looking at Hyung Sik sardonically. "Just go home if you don't want to play!!" he shouted.

But the heir sat down anyway, looking very bored and disinterested at first. The flower boys thought that being abroad for so many year, Hyung Sik had forgotten how to play the game. But before long he was starting to win every single game and looking extremely excited to the extend of putting the card on his forehead to brag. The other four looked at him in contempt.

Min Hyuk scoffed, "I thought you said it's a game for country bumpkins?" it was rare to see the nerd being cynical.

Hyung Sik grinned ear-to-ear, "It is a game for country bumpkins... I didn't say I wasn't one right? I looovvee this game! I even taught my american friends in the dormitory how to play." he said excitedly. His friends bursted out laughing, they could not believe how eccentric the chaebol Park family actually was. Never in their wildest dream they would play go stop with one of the richest person in South Korea.

"So Manager Jung... how is it going with the models?" Hyung Sik asked, "We're allowed to talk about work during game night, right?" he made sure.

The boys laughed at his joke, "Good! I decided to work with actor/actreses and comedian instead. You know, celebrities with commoner type of body. So we'll get what Director Park wants and still a high profile figure to attract attentions." Il Woo said.

Hyung Sik lit up, "You managed to get all of them?"

Il Woo nodded, "O! Luckily ex-Manager Lee did not go to the office very diligently previously so I ended up interacting with the celebrities when Femme had an event instead of him. They thought we have a good idea by doing this k
