Description

Onew thought he'd spend his early retirement from the disbanded Odd Eye Detective Agency irking his housekeeper and puttering about - until he finds his old team and new recruit standing at his door. When Wu Yifan is found shot dead in his studio, on the estate of wealthy industrialist Kim Junmyeon, Onew finds himself pulled back into the world of sleuthing to hunt down the murderer. With eleven suspects too many, and only his "little grey cells" to aid him, Onew finds everyone has something to hide - and a reason to pull the trigger. He can't fail this time.

Foreword

I've had this story planned for a very long time, mainly because I went through a binge-reading of my Agatha Christie's, and watching Shinee's Sherlock MV again. I've been disappointed that I couldn't find a good, old-fashioned detective mystery around here - no serial killers, no forensics, no car chases, just the "little grey cells" - so I decided to write my own. Also because I just love the idea of detective!Shinee.

I'm trying to emulate the style of Agatha Christie (my detective-writing idol), and the story is set in the time period of the 1930s/40s, in a fictional country not unlike England of that time (Think everyone looking very dapper, like Shinee in their 1000 Years By Your Side MV).

Featuring:

Inhabitants of El Dorado Estate

Wu Yifan, a struggling Bohemian artist, and distant cousin to Junmyeon. He was staying on the estate when he was killed.

Kim Jongin, one of Junmyeon's twin sons. He is a principal dancer for the Royal Ballet. He considers Yifan his uncle.

Oh Sehun, one of Junmyeon's twin sons. He is a university student, and considers himself a Communist. He considers Yifan his uncle.

Lee Taemin, Odd Eye's newest recruit. Designated slave labour.

Other idols will cameo, as and when necessary.

I don't own Shinee, or EXO, or any of the idols mentioned, including their images, as well as anything branded to their companies. Please do not plagiarise this story; I will take it down if this should happen.

Please do not ask for updates, they will come as and when they are ready.

Really beautiful, awesome poster is from:

Please don't call me authornim, call me Else instead (and no Frozen jokes, please).

I do not hate any of the idols involved in this story, nor should any of their actions or actions suffered by them reflect upon their characters.

As a warning, the comment section is littered with spoilers, so if you're a new reader, tread carefully if you don't want to be spoiled!
