Genie is a pseudo-spin-off to Three Wishes which means it's essentially the same story as the original but told from Kai’s perspective (instead of the main female character, Kwon Ji Won). It’s inspired by one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, Aladdin.

You do NOT have to read Three Wishes to read this one and in fact, for those of you who haven’t, you may enjoy this one more because you won’t already know the plot. And to the readers of Three Wishes, thank you so much for being patient with me while I spent months trying to write a story that’s already been written. I hope this version entertains you just as much as the original did.

As always, I hope you enjoy reading and constructive criticism is welcome (don’t be afraid to point out grammar/spelling/vocabulary mistakes, plot holes, character flaws, discrepancies from the original, etc.).

P.S. I have a habit of adding commentary or rambling about tangents to a chapter I've posted, but to save on scrolling time for those who don't want to read my author's notes, I've posted links to blog posts instead in case you're interested to hear some of my thoughts.
