Selcouth [Kris/Chorong]
More Than WordsSelcouth
(adj.) unfamiliar, rare, strange, and yet marvelous
He’s staring at me.
I’m gaping like a fish out of the water.
“Um… do you mind? You’re blocking my doorway,” he states, unnoticing. Raising an eyebrow at the odd girl standing still.
She hears. She doesn’t listen.
Oh holy. He’s so beautiful close.
Too caught up with the pretty faced boy in front of her, she fails to understand that she’s being weird and well really really strange. The boy seems to be her age, 16, but his dark brown hair makes him look like a lad in his 20’s. A well-defined jaw line, strong built, perfect eyes, perfect nose, just… perfect.
He scratches the back of his head, annoyed but still waiting for the girl to get out of his way. That didn’t happen until he had to do it for himself - shoving her out of his door once he hears footsteps and a frightening voice.
“Yifan,” a young lady enters the hallway of the second floor of the dorm, “Yifan?”
“Move, Cornelia.”
Despite the sudden push from a complete stranger, the “cornelia” stares at him for the second time after stumbling and getting her balance back.
“W-what…” she softly says. In her expression is confusion and delightment and confusion all over again.
