(This entry is edited and improved :D )

1. Yoona likes someone who would sweep her off her feet.

"Please don't let me trample over, please don't let me trample over..." Im Yoona mumbled this like a mantra.

She is holding her precious house model project while walking along the busy hallway of her college department building. She is walking carefully, avoiding rushing students passing by her, eager not to be late for their morning classes.

Yoona spent sleepless nights just to finish her house model. She's majoring in arts and the one she is holding is her project for her major.

"Please don't let me trample over, please don't let me trample over..." she repeated.

She breathes a sigh of relief once her classroom door came to her view.

A few more steps and I am safe.

Just a few more.

Yoona resumed walking slowly and carefully towards their classroom. Even though the bell rang already a few minutes ago, she doesn't want to run and risk her precious project.

It's better late than never.

Just a few more.

You can do it, Yoong.

Just---

A blur swept by while Yoona is walking. Apparently the blur happened to be someone.

While Yoona's engrossed while trying to protect her project by walking slowly, she didn't hear the footsteps of a running student behind her. Unfortunately, this student is also busy adjusting her shirt, not noticing there was actually a girl blocking her way.

The two collided and landed on the ground, one on top of the other. Yoona gasped underneath the girl who knocked her down.

"HEY! GET OFF ME!!!" Yoona shouted in shock while pounding on the girl's shoulders.

The girl stood up, brushing the dirt off her shirt. She offered a hand to Yoona but the latter ignored it and stood up on her own. Suddenly, Yoona looked at the scene with large eyes.

What she saw made her blood boil.

Her precious project is shattered on the floor.

It’s freakin' ruined!!!!

"I'm really sorry!" The culprit bowed many times in front of her.

Yoona was speechless.

My precious project!!!!

"I'm really sorry! Oh I'm late for class! Just take this, here."

The girl bowed and shoved three thousand bucks on Yoona's hand.

Upon bowing for the last time, the girl left hurriedly for her class leaving a dumbfounded Yoona alone.

There goes my sleepless nights...

It was shattered!!!!! Arrgghhh!!!!

And she would just say sorry and pay me?!

I'm not her one night stand for heaven's sake!!!!!

She picked up the remnants of her project. She swears that the next time that she would see that rude girl, she would see to it to kill that girl right on the spot.

When Yoona said she likes someone who would sweep her off her feet, she definitely doesn't mean it to be like this.

That girl sweeps her off her feet, LITERALLY.

2. Yoona likes someone who would make her feel the sparks.

Yoona sat dejectedly on her seat upon explaining to her professor her situation. After a few minutes of lecture about her being careless and late, her professor relented and let her to pass her project next week but with five points deduction for not being able to pass on time whatever the circumstances are.

She's really angry about that rude stranger.

How can she leave me like that?!

How rude!!!

And now she was fuming inside.

The doe-eyed Princess is on HimYoona mode (she's even scarier than her unnie, Jessica on HellSica mode, swear) so no one dared to sit beside her.

That was when the classroom door opened quietly.

Someone peeked inside then that someone closed the door again when the homeroom professor saw her. That person stayed outside.

Many of her classmates gasped. It was just a glimpse but they are so interested.

Many started cooing and giggling but Yoona wasn't even paying attention to the commotion.

She's busy cussing under her breath.

"We have a transfer student today. Treat her well."

Yoona looked up to check out the transfer girl as soon as her homeroom teacher ended her sentence.

Her curiosity gets the better out of her.

It’s been a habit for Yoona.

She needs to check out if this girl can really surpass her beauty.

At least, the limelight wouldn't be with her anymore.

It's not that she's arrogant but her heavenly beauty is a major problem in her life. Aside from the constant date invitations from boys and even girls, others seemed to be too envious of her looks, thus, Yoona never had a friend in school. It's either they would just like to hit on her, envy her or just use her as a way to become popular in school.

Now that she's a senior in this university, Yoona would careless without having a friend. She even survived 3 years here without a friend and she definitely would survive another year without one.

"Come here in front," her professor's voice pulled her out of her trance.

Everybody, including Yoona, looked towards the door, waiting.

I don't know why, but I really wanted to see this girl.

The door quietly opened and the transfer girl walked in.

Everybody gasped again but now including the jaw dropped Yoona.

"Hi, I'm Kwon Yuri. Hope we can all be friends." Yuri smiled.

She is tall. She has a tan skin with a beautiful toned body. She emits a playful but cheerful aura around her. Indeed, this transfer girl is definitely gorgeous. And heck, she even looks like Yoona herself.

It seems like this transfer girl isn't bad after all.

Soon everyone wanted their hands on this new girl in school. She became an instant hit.

"Oh, you can sit there beside the only girl at the back, Yoona."

Yoona was speechless upon hearing her professor saying that.

Yuri smiled charmingly in front of the class for the last time before sauntering her way towards her.

"Hi, nice meeting you again!" Yuri smiled her damn charming smile on Yoona this time.

Oh so she remembers me now?!

Yoona felt her blood boiling. Despite everyone's desire for this new girl, she's feeling the opposite.

Kwon Yuri is that damn rude stranger who ruined my precious project!!!

Yoona glared at her and faced the other side of the room.

Yes, Im Yoona did say that she likes someone who would make her feel the sparks.

And yes, the moment she laid her eyes on Kwon Yuri, she did feel the sparks....

….THE SPARKS OF ANGER.

3. Yoona likes someone who is polite and proper.

Yuri soon learned why Yoona is ignoring her. And soon she started following Yoona around to ask for her forgiveness.

"Yoona, please forgive me already..."

Yuri pleaded the doe eyed girl beside her in her fail aegyo.

It's been a week but Yoona doesn't even make the girl utter even a single word at her.

Yuri just wanted to be friends with her seatmate. She doesn't know why but she wanted to get to know this beautiful girl more.

Suddenly the two turned their heads to the person who coughed loudly behind Yuri.

It's Seo In Guk, a popular boy from the Music Department.

"Uhmm...Kwon Yuri?"

Yuri stared at him blankly but nodded nonetheless.

"This is for you from my friend, Choi Minho."

In Guk gingerly placed a note on Yuri's desk.

Yoona doesn't mean to peek on that love note but the big bold letters soon found their way on Yoona's peripheral vision.

-- Hi, Yuri. Are you free after class? Want to go out with me? --

Yuri looked at In Guk for explanation but he just shrugged and smiled innocently at her.

Surprising Yoona, Yuri smiled charmingly at him before writing her reply in big bold letters too on the paper.

I AM CURRENTLY DATING JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE.

Yoona was wide eyed upon seeing Yuri's answer. She almost choked on supressing her laugh on Yuri's reply.

Yuri innocently gave the paper back to the jaw dropped In Guk which the latter received before walking away embarrassedly.

Yoona almost smiled but Yuri turned to look at her so she faked a glare and looked away.

"Yoong~" Yuri whined at her.

Again Yoona was wide eyed. Yes, many people know her nickname but only a few of them are allowed to call her Yoong. Her nickname was intended only for close friends and family.

“How dare yo---“

Yoona was cut off when Minho barged in the classroom which made the classroom to fell silent again just like when In Guk arrived.

"Kwon Yuri! Why? Don't you want to go on a date with me?!" Choi Minho yelled at her earning gasps from everyone.

Choi Minho is the number one heartthrob in their university.

This past few days Yuri experienced what Yoona experienced in this school---the perks of being famous and the curse of being famous too.

And Yoona was surprised that Yuri isn't interested in these people just like her, even if they are all the top-notch students (academically and popularity-wise) in this school.

"W-why?"

Minho stammered due to the fact that now everyone knows that this is the second time he was shamelessly rejected (the first was Yoona).

Everybody wanted him, well, except for this two girls.

"You have that nerve to reject me huh?!" Minho bellowed upon seeing Yuri staring blankly at him.

Yuri stood up and approached him. The whole class, with Yoona of course, watched the scene with wide eyes.

"Uhh… do you know that poem or is it a saying? Ugh, whatever. That line that goes with roses are red, violets are blue?" Yuri asked Minho.

Minho smirked. "Of course, I know that--"

"Aha! I remembered it!" Yuri cut him off.

Minho watched Yuri curiously while she saunters towards him.

"Roses are red....

Violets are blue...

Yuri smirked. She snatched the love note on Minho's hand and crumpled it.

...Garbage should be dumped, and so are you."

She threw the paper in the garbage bin.

The whole class fell silent when she ended her remark. And as if on cue, everyone started laughing.

Minho's jaw dropped on the floor and he stormed out of the room beet red from embarrassment. The whole class is still laughing from Yuri's antics.

Yuri sat down beside Yoona. And she noticed that the deer is still laughing with wide open like alligator's.

Everybody is laughing but the only sound Yuri can hear is Yoona's alligator laugh.

It was so addicting.

It was so mesmerizing and Yuri wouldn't mind to hear that laugh forever.

"Why are you staring at me? You know what? You're so really polite and proper," Yoona's sarcastic voice pulled her back to reality.

"Huh?" Yuri asked not catching the last part.

Yoona shook her head at her and smiled before their professor entered their room.

Even though Yoona didn't forgive her yet, Yuri took her laugh as a sign.

A sign that maybe...

…..just maybe, this doe eyed girl is opening up to her.

4. Yoona likes someone who would take her to a romantic date with candles and sweet music.

Yuri yawned for the nth time for that day and Yoona is starting to get irritated.

It's been an uneventful day for them. Their classes are boring and their professors are boring.

In short, this whole day is boring.

Deciding that she would go crazy if she would listen to the monotonous lecture of their professor for another minute, Yuri started to pester Yoona. At least, even if the girl can definitely start a world war any minute with her, Yuri can't explain the feeling of joy whenever she sees the girl's annoyed and irritated reaction to her antics.

"Yoong, just forgive me already," Yuri whined at her.

Yoona gritted her teeth.

Kwon Yuri is not allowed to call her by her nickname.

“Who the hell are you to call me that? We’re not even friends!”

“You can also call me Yul, if you want,” Yuri replied, grinning.

And Yoona can help but to find it adorable.

But of course, she wouldn’t say that to the other girl.

"Shut up, Kwon or else I'll make you shut up."

Yuri smirked with her snarky comment. At least, Yoona's attention is with her now.

"Ohhh. I would like that! Would you shut me up with a kiss instead?" Yuri replied cheekily.

Yoona turned and glared at her.

Yuri gulped.

Yoona can be really scary at times.

"Okay! Sorry! I just wanted to make you laugh!" she said while raising her hands up in surrender.

"You're definitely not funny," Yoona rolled her eyes at her.

"Seriously, what do you want me to do so that you'll forgive me?"

"Nothing."

"Promise, I'll take you out for a treat!" Yuri rubbed her palms together in contrition.

Yoona was about to give in when she heard about the treat part. Of course, the shikshin in her wanted her to go but her pride was getting in the way.

"Please? Let's go on a date! I'll treat you to dinner!" Yuri beamed at her idea.

Yoona's eyes went wide upon hearing the word "date".

"Are you asking me out, Kwon?!"

"Oh?! No! It's not what I mean! It's...it's..." Yuri trailed off.

"That's it! I'm not going anywhere with you! And you're still not forgiven!" Yoona ended her sentence with a glare before she looked away and pretended to listen to the lecture.

Yuri was wide eyed upon hearing Yoona.

Suddenly, Yuri thought a bright idea.

She raised her hand up to grab the attention of their professor.

The professor is still writing on the board so she went ignored which made Yuri's eye to twitch in irritation.

Really, what is this teacher really doing?! He’s been facing the board for an hour now. Does the board looks like his students?!

Yuri coughed out loud.

Their professor turned around to glare to that rude student of his that interrupted his writing but when he saw that Kwon Yuri is the one that is raising her hand, he immediately softened and relented.

At least, she has something to say about the lesson.

She is listening attentively to him. Or so he thought.

"Yes, Ms. Kwon?"

Yuri stood up and looked at him sheepishly. Her professor blushed upon seeing her acting cute.

"Uhm...sir may I go out?"

"Uhh...sure," her professor was confused as to why Yuri is so shy asking that.

"What I mean sir is, may I go out...

Yuri started again, now the whole class is listening attentively to whatever she wanted to say.

.....with Yoona?"

The whole class gasped and some cooed.

Yoona immediately started blushing madly.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" she hissed at the girl.

Yuri just shrugged and remained looking innocently at her.

Their professor cleared his throat.

"Okay enough with the games, Ms. Kwon. And Ms. Im, just go on a date with her," he said while smirking.

"Awww.." the whole class cooed.

The professor returned to his writing on the board as if nothing happened.

But the class didn't seem to let go of the situation even if Yuri already was seated on her chair.

This attracted everyone's attention and resulted in some catcalls and laughter despite the still monotonous voice of their professor on the background.

Yuri turned to look at the still blushing girl.

"See, even the professor says so. Will go out with me?" Yuri whined which irritated Yoona more.

"Ugh! Stop that!"

"No! Not until you go out with me!"

"Yu--"

"No!!! Go out with meeeeeee….."

"Fine!"

Yuri's eyes widen upon hearing that single word.

"Really?!" she beamed.

"Yes. So now stop. You're irritating!"

"Yes! At last! I'll meet you at your last class this Friday!"

Yoona's last class is one of the subjects that she doesn't share with Yuri. At least, during those times, she has free time away from this girl but now thinking that she would spend her weekend with Yuri made Yoona sigh loudly.

She doesn't really know what is going on this girl's mind.

---

"I'm sure I made a reservation early this morning!" Yuri almost yelled at the annoyed receptionist of the restaurant.

"But ma'am there is no reservations under the name Kwon Yuri," the receptionist tried to explain yet again.

Yuri prepared for this day to be perfect. She planned to bring Yoona to an expensive Italian restaurant downtown. She even made the reservation for their romantic spot and string quartet early this morning.

But how comes this day and her efforts would just go down the drain now?

Yuri sighed, "Okay, is there any available table for us?"

"Sorry but we are already full tonight ma'am maybe--"

"What?!" Yuri cut her off.

Yoona tugged Yuri's sleeve, "Yul, I think we should just find another place."

Yuri can't just let this situation pass.

She wanted a perfect dinner.

But the moment Yoona called her by her nickname for the first time, she immediately softened. She even magically forgot the reason of her anger in the first place.

Maybe, just maybe....she is a really er for this beautiful girl.

"Okay," she replied weakly.

"I know a good cafe a few blocks away from here," Yoona told her when they were out of the restaurant.

Yuri just nodded, she just felt disappointed in herself.

Yoona grasp her hand and Yuri looked up at her in surprise.

"Smile, I don't want a grumpy date tonight," Yoona said, smiling.

As if on cue, Yuri's lips curved into a smile upon seeing that Yoona smiled at her sweetly for the first time.

---

"What?! Why on earth is this cafe closed already?!" Yoona asked in frustration.

She wanted to comfort Yuri for her disappointment earlier but she only made it worst that their next destination is also closed already.

"Yoong, it's really late. I think cafés here now are all already closed. And the only nearby restaurant is well, the restaurant where we're supposed to eat earlier," Yuri answered sadly.

Yoona's last class for today ended much later than expected so it's already late in the evening when they left the university.

Now, the cafes are already closed including Yoona's favorite one.

"That's okay, Yul. I think we--"

Yoona's sentence was cut off by a loud roar of thunder above them.

She instinctively inched closer to Yuri out of her reflex.

They noticed that they are now just mere inches away from each other. The both girls blushed upon seeing their proximity.

Then another roar of thunder was heard followed by a downpour of rain.

Yuri held Yoona's hand and dragged her towards the awning of the closed cafe.

"Damn, why is this day like this?!" Yuri shouted out of frustration.

"Yul...it's okay."

"No, I wanted this to be perfect! I wanted you to forgive me and be friends with me. Why is everything going wrong right now?" Yuri ranted, flailing her hands on the air.

Yoona took Yuri's hands into hers which made the latter to look at her with wide eyes.

"Nothing's going wrong, Yul. I forgave you already and ironically, I'm feeling that I wanted to be friends with you now," Yoona ended her sentence with a sincere smile on her face.

Yuri stood frozen of her spot, still holding Yoona's hands. She was jaw dropped and slackjawed. She felt as if her mind went blank.

Yoona nudge her, "Hey! Come on! Smile!"

Yuri blinked her eyes many times and soon returned her smile. Her lips curled upwards and she smiled like a fool.

She smiled until hurts and she can't contain her happiness, she hugged the doe eyed girl tightly.

"I am really happy to hear that, Yoong!" she whispered.

"Yeah, yeah, so now let go, I can breathe," Yoona chuckled.

Yuri smiled sheepishly at her when they separated.

Yoona chuckled.

Yuri smiled.

Suddenly, Yuri bowed and held her out her hand.

Yoona looked at her confusedly.

"May I have this dance?"

"Huh? Here?" Yoona asked.

Yuri nodded. She's still holding her hand out waiting for Yoona.

Yoona is still confused at the sudden odd request.

Why on earth would Yuri want to dance given the situation they are in? They're freaking trapped here due to the rain for crying out loud! No one's even around.

"Don't look at me like that, Yoong. I just wanted to do something for you tonight," Yuri pouted.

Yoona smiled in an instant. It is very rare to see Yuri pouting. She's so too used to the arrogant and playful Yuri. It’s the first time that she has seen Yuri pouting. And Yoona can't deny the fact that she is so damn adorable now.

Yoona chuckled.

"Oh, why, thank you."

Yoona grasped Yuri's hand.

She rested her hands on Yuri's shoulders. Yuri, on the other hand, had her hands on Yoona's waist. They are so close to each other.

They started to sway and they ended up waltzing to the tune of Yuri's sweet humming.

Soon, the two even didn't notice that the rain has stopped.

They continued to dance in their own world.

And so even if everything went wrong for this day, there is no romantic dinner with candles and sweet music, yet they still felt that this day was perfect.

The two are dancing underneath the moonlit sky, immersed in their own little world.

And ironically, they felt a certain connection with each other.

Yes, there would be no other perfect place other than where they are now--right next to each other.

5. Yoona likes someone who would always listen to whatever she says

Yoona's eyes widen upon opening the front door of her university dorm room. There has been someone knocking loudly so Yoona irritably opened the door just to be surprised upon seeing her visitor.

On the other hand, her visitor is obviously shocked upon seeing Yoona's face.

"Y-Yuri?! What are you doing here?" Yoona asked, shocked.

"A-Are you the one who owns this room?" Yuri asked, equally shocked as well.

"Well, yeah...you? What are you doing here?"

Yuri is standing at her door with her big backpack and a large tote that looks like it'll burst with its contents.

"I asked the university dorm master if they have an available room for me. It seems like your room is the only one that is available," Yuri replied scratching the back of her head.

"Oh."

"Well, it's okay if you don't like--"

"Babo, it's okay, of course." Yoona chuckled.

She led Yuri inside.

Yoona stood with her arms wide open.

"Welcome home."

Yuri heartily laughed.

What a dork.

It seems like she would definitely like here.

---

The first time that Yoona and Yuri tried to hang out in their now shared dorm room was during the first weekend of Yuri's stay.

They hardly meet each other during this past week. Of course, they would go to class together, spend the breaks with each other and go back to the dorm together again but aside from that, they wouldn't talk in their dorm aside from their dinner time. After that, they would be just in their own room doing their requirements. Really, senior year has been taking its toll on them.

So it was a really great sight when Yuri stumbled upon a serene looking Yoona. She sitting on the couch when Yuri was about to get some water before going back to her room to finish her assignment for a class the two doesn't share.

"Oh, Yuri, want to watch a movie with me?" Yoona asked, smiling.

It was the first time Yoona asked her to do something together. Often times, it would be Yuri who's asking.

Even though she wasn't even halfway in doing her assignment and she even didn't started writing on her paper that she was supposed to do last night yet, Yuri jumped on Yoona's offer.

Damn those things.

Yuri sat beside her on the couch. But she remembered something.

"Oh it's better if we have popcorn!"

"Yeah, let me--"

"No, let me get it," Yuri cut her off.

"But--"

"Wait here."

"You wouldn't listen to me, won't you?" Yoona mumbled while smiling after Yuri left.

---

Their "movie weekend" became a habit for the two. Each girl makes it to a point that they would both be available for this night even though it means added sleepless nights and lesser time for recreation during the weekdays.

But today, Yuri had been waiting on the couch for Yoona to come out of her room for their movie night.

It's been two hours but Yoona seems like she's busy in her own room. Yuri started to be disappointed but if she wouldn't let the other girl explain, her hurt would just be doubled. So she decided to check up on her.

She knocked on her door.

The door creaked open and it revealed a Yoona who’s covered in her thick comforters. At that instant, worry swept across Yuri's face.

Yoona is ill.

"Sorry, Yul. I can't watch the movie with you," Yoon managed to say despite the hoarseness and shivering of her voice.

Yuri decided to open the door wider.

"No, Yuri. You shouldn't enter. I don't want you to get sick too," she protested.

Yuri shook her head and led Yoona to her bed. Yoona obliged.

Yoona is shivering from head to toe. Her temperature is ridiculously high. Yuri tucked her in.

"Wait for me here."

Yuri managed to get the university doctor from the infirmary before he leaves for the day. Yoona was already dazed and confused when the doctor arrived. She only managed to remember and hear the words "fever", "stress", "fatigue" and "rest" before she passed out.

The morning came and Yoona awaked to the bright light entering her room. She squint her eyes to adjust to the bright light. She was about to get up when she noticed something holding her down. She looked to her right and saw Yuri seating on a chair beside her bed and her upper body is sprawled on her lower limbs. It seemed like she fell asleep watching over her.

Sensing her movements, Yuri stirred in her sleep. She got up and her eyes widen upon seeing that Yoona is already sitting on the bed.

"Are you okay? Is there anything you need?" she asked frantically.

"No, actually--"

"Wait! I'll just get you something to eat," Yuri left before she can even continue her sentence.

Yoona smiled and shook her head.

Standard stubborn Yuri.

---

It's been two days and Yoona's feeling a lot better now. Yuri insisted to ditch her classes to take care of her even though Yoona vehemently rejected her offer.

It seemed like the older girl really doesn't listen to anything she says so she just let the girl do whatever she wanted.

Besides, Yoona really likes having her around. She feels safe and comfortable just like having your favourite blanket on a cold night.

"Yoona, here's your lunch."

Yuri entered the room with porridge in hand. Yoona can't deny the fact that Yuri's been treating her like a princess this past days plus the bonus that the other girl is really good in cooking.

"Did you already take your medicine?"

Yoona pouted at her and shook her head.

Yuri sighed, "What would I do to you?"

Yoona chuckled.

"Why won't you feed me Nurse Kwon? Ahhh~" Yoona opened like those of alligator's just like when she is laughing.

"Yes, Alligator Yoong," Yuri teased.

Yoona pouted.

Yuri chuckled. She patted the younger girl's head and proceeded to feed her anyways.

Yoona happily ate. She finds Yuri sweet and caring. Her future lover would be so lucky to have her and she's also lucky to have a friend like her.

That night Yuri checked her temperature before going to bed.

"Your temperature is normal now. Thank God," Yuri sighed in relief.

"Yul, thank you so much," Yoona said. Her eyes staring at her intently and sincerity is evident from her deep, dark beautiful eyes.

Yuri chuckled. "It's nothing."

Yoona pouted.

"I wanted to thank you. I wish I could hug you now... but I can't." Yoona tried to smile.

"Of course, I don't want you to smell me or to have cold--"

She stopped her sentence as soon as Yuri wrapped her arms around her.

"Hey, you don't smell bad. Plus, I have a strong immunity," Yuri said while smiling.

"But I don't want you to hug me."

"But I am hugging you now," Yuri snickered.

"But--"

"Shh," Yuri tightened her hug.

"Sleep now okay?" she said as soon as they parted.

Yoona nodded obediently like a child.

Yuri was about to go when suddenly a hand caught her wrist and held her back. She turned her head and saw Yoona holding tightly to her wrist.

"Don't leave me alone," she pouted.

Yuri smiled and nodded. She slipped next to Yoona on the bed after turning off the lights.

Yuri just stayed on the opposite side of Yoona as far as possible to give enough room for the younger girl.

"Come here. You'll gonna fall off," Yoona called.

"No, I'm fi--" she sentence was cut when Yoona pulled her at the center of the bed and snuggled at her.

"Babo, you really don't listen to anything I say," Yoona mumbled sleepily. She buried her face to the crook of Yuri's neck.

Yoona's hot breath is trickling Yuri's neck causing her nerves to run havoc. She is sure that she's blushing due to their proximity. It's their first time to sleep together and she is thankful that the room is already dark.

"Good night, Yul," Yoona mumbled yet again. She pressed her lips to her neck and went off to dreamland soon after.

Yuri's heartbeat was racing, she's sure that if Yoona isn't asleep she would be able to feel it jumping out of her chest too.

She took deep breaths to calm her heart.

She smiled upon seeing Yoona's angel-like serene sleeping face.

Yuri placed a kiss on the crown of the sleeping girl's head.

"Good night, Yoong," she said though the girl is already in dreamland.

Yuri smiled before going to sleep thinking that tonight she would really sleep tight and have really sweet dreams.

6. Yoona likes someone who understands her without her uttering a single word.

It was an uneventful week for everyone else but it was a different case for Yoona. After her illness incident, she and Yuri became so much closer. Their "movie nights" now have their "sleepover nights" too.

Yoona went back to their dorm; excitement is running in her veins. It was another movie and sleepover weekend for them and the two didn't also have the time to meet each other because almost all of their subjects today are not shared.

Yoona really likes the sleepover part though, because the two would spend the night sleeping in a single bed, snuggling and talking with each other till the wee hours in the morning.

So when Yoona knocked on their door, she expected to see a charming tanned girl greeting her.

But Yoona almost dropped her books upon seeing the door opened. It was not because a charming tanned girl opened their door but because a handsome man opened it. Okay, scratch that, Yoona wasn't interested with the man. She was concerned about what did this man do to her roommate.

"Who are you?! Where's Yuri?!" Yoona almost yelled to the man while gritting her teeth.

"Yoong!!!" Yuri suddenly appeared behind the man.

Yoona's eyes widen upon realizing the situation.

Yuri knows this man?

"Oh, he's Yoo Ah In. He's my project partner and also a good friend from my other classes. Ah In, she's Yoona, my dorm mate," Yuri introduced.

Ah In smiled and held out his hand, "Nice meeting you."

Yoona's eye twitched in irritation.

Is this guy really just a friend to Yuri? Isn’t he hitting on her? And what's wrong with Yuri? Why did she introduce me as just her roommate? I thought we're already best friends because I'm sure she's one to me.

Yoona walked past the two.

"I'm tired."

Yoona controlled herself not to slam the door of her room in front of the two shocked faces of Yuri and Ah In.

She doesn't know what came over her but she is sure of one thing, she's not comfortable having that guy around.

---

It wasn't Yoona's intention to eat with the two but she was so damn hungry and it wasn't also Yuri's intention to provoke Yoona more by being so damn sweet with Ah In in front of her.

"Here," Yuri scooped another bowl of rice for Ah In.

"Thanks, Yul," Ah In received the bowl shyly from Yuri's hands.

And that's it. Yoona can't take it anymore.

Ah In has been flirting with her and Yuri just seemed to like it.

And the last straw was when this man called Yuri by her nickname. The last time that Yoona checked, she’s the only one who is calling Yuri like that.

Yoona gritted her teeth. She just wanted to drag the girl away from that jerk towards her.

 She stood up.

"I'm finished. I'm going to sleep."

She left without even bothering to take her dishes to the sink. She entered her room not bothering to open the light anymore. And soon tears cascaded down her beautiful face.

Yoona hates it.

She thinks it is unfair that Yuri makes her feel like this.

She is hurting Yoona without even realizing it.

It is unfair that Yoona looks like a lovesick puppy wanting an attention to her master.

It is unfair that Yuri isn't feeling the same way.

It is unfair now that Yoona know what it is.

She's not only uncomfortable, she is jealous.

And what's even more unfair is the fact that she is jealous with something she doesn't have.

Yuri isn't hers in the first place.

Indeed, life is unfair.

---

Yuri knocked Yoona's door for the nth time because the latter isn't answering her door.

After a few knocks, Yuri was about to give up when the door creaked open.

"What's wrong?" Yuri asked.

"Nothing. Is that all?" Yoona almost closed the door but Yuri beat her to it.

"Wait! What's wrong with you?! Why are you acting like this?!" Yuri bursted out.

"Oh so you're angry at me now! Seriously Yuri! You really wanted me to talk?!"

"Yes!"

Yoona shook her head, "You don't really know me."

Yuri was taken aback at that.

"I want someone who would really know me even though I don't speak a single damn word!" Yoona yelled and stormed out of her room towards the living room.

"Where are you going?!"

"Out of your life!!!"

Yuri was shocked and soon tears pooled in her eyes. Is she that unimportant to Yoona?

"What am I to you, Yoona?"

It's now Yoona's time to be taken aback.

She inhaled deeply. If she would lie, this misunderstanding would just escalate but if she would tell her the truth, Yuri might hate her forever.

But seeing the look on Yuri's face, she decided that life isn't really fair. Neither option would lead to a favourable outcome for her. So, Yoona decided for the best option that would break her heart more the way it is breaking now.

Tell her the truth.

"You're the world to me."

Yuri doesn't believe her ears. Is she just hearing things?

Yoona turned her back not wanting to see the older girl's reaction. She held her breath upon placing her hand on their doorknob.

Please just say something, Yul.

Say something so that I can let you go.

Yoona almost cried upon hearing nothing from the girl, she was about to open the door when she halted. She felt something wrapping around her hips.

Yuri is freaking hugging her.

But why?

"Babo, I love you too."

Yuri's crying on her back.

The older girl kissed her neck. And Yoona immediately melted upon the sensation.

Yoona cried too and Yuri wiped her tears.

At least, even if life is unfair, you just need to take some risk. And right now, Yoona doesn't regret anything because she's already in the arms of her love.

7. Yoona likes someone with huge gestures and surprises.

It's been two years since the two graduated. Yoona became a professor in their university while Yuri works in an advertising company. The two moved in since the day they graduated. Nothing much changed except for the fact that the two girls are now living in their own apartment and are working their butts off to make ends meet.

They are seating on the couch having their "weekend movie night", still the same old couple that they were.

Yoona has been pouting and puffing her cheeks in irritation.

It's been two years that they are together, not that she is not happy with what they are now; it's just that Yoona expected Yuri to do big surprises and gestures for her. It seemed like they are too comfortable to each other now.

Does Yuri still plan about their upcoming third anniversary?

"Is there something wrong, Yoong?"

Yoona was brought back to reality. She tried to smile and shook her head.

Yuri smiled.

"You must be hungry, let me make us dinner," Yuri ruffled her hair before getting off the couch towards their kitchen.

Yoona felt her heart beat triple time when her girlfriend ruffled her hair.

She smiled.

Looks like Yuri still got it. Definitely.

---

One day, Yoona was frantically looking where she put her handkerchief on. She's really sweating while walking towards her car. Damn this hot summer sun.

She entered her car and put her hand on her jeans pocket to check for it but instead she found something inside.

It is definitely not her handkerchief.

She pulled it out and saw a paper. She unfolded it and a wide grin appeared on her face.

-How are you? I love you.-

She immediately knew that handwriting.

Yoona tried searching for more notes in the other front pocket and two back pockets of her jeans and found a note on each one.

-Drive safely.-

-Come back home soon, I'll be waiting.-

-I miss you already. Kiss me when you get home.-

Yoona is already crying tears of joy after reading those notes.

Who would have thought that Yuri can even think to do those, knowing how busy she was?

So when Yoona arrived home, instead of greeting her lover a "Good Evening", Yoona pulled her in for a passionate kiss.

"What was that for?" Yuri asked, blushing, when they separated.

Yoona smiled.

"You wanted a kiss when I get home."

---

There were also times when they spend their days outside just like now. The two are just hanging out at the park. Yoona is reading her book under the tree and Yuri, well the health freak that she was, is exercising beside her.

Suddenly, Yoona saw that Yuri stopped exercising but the latter is just standing in front of her with her back facing her.

Yoona poked her leg which made Yuri turned to look at her while standing.

"What are you doing?"

Yuri smiled. "Don't mind me."

"But you just look weird like that. Just tell me why," Yoona whined.

Yuri sighed.

"I just wanted to shade you off the sun, okay?"

Yoona melted on the spot because of her sweet gesture. She tackled Yuri on the ground and pecked her lips.

"W-What's that for?" Yuri stammered.

Yoona chuckled. "You're just too cute today."

---

There are also nights that they spend dinners at restaurants.

Yoona isn't enjoying her plate that night. She thought that what she ordered would taste delicious for her but even the shikshin in her refuses to eat her dish.

Yuri noticed that her girlfriend isn't eating her food.

Suddenly, Yoona felt Yuri's hand on hers which made her stop pushing her food around.

"My dish is better," Yuri said to her, smiling.

Yuri switched their plates and she started eating Yoona's dish.

"But that's--"

"Eat. I don't want to starve my shikshin," Yuri smiled and ruffled her hair.

Yoona's heart is beating faster again. It seemed that even those butterflies are still there and she's sure that they will stay forever.

Yoona pecked her lips.

"W-What's that for?"

Yoona smiled. "That tastes the best."

---

The two are crossing the street after their grocery shopping.

One peculiar thing Yoona likes when she is with Yuri is when they are crossing the street or walking through a crowd. It may sound weird but Yoona doesn't like to cross the street with anyone other than Yuri.

The green light lit signalling the pedestrians to cross.

Yuri grasped Yoona's hand and smiled, "Let's go."

Yoona loves the way how Yuri would clasp their hands all the time. She loves how the warmth from Yuri's fingers and palm spread to her own and even through her body.

The moment that they are already across the street, Yuri asked her, "Are you okay?"

She also loves how Yuri would ask if she's okay after that.

It makes her feel safe and loved.

Yoona nodded and Yuri smiled they continued walking towards their apartment still holding each other hands.

When they arrived at their apartment, they saw the maintenance fixing their elevator.

Yuri sighed.

It looks like they need to go up to their apartment on the 3rd floor using the stairs.

Yuri looked at her girlfriend and saw her pouting.

Yuri smiled.

"Let me hold all those bags. Hop on my back. You looked so freaking tired."

Yoona pouted in protest but Yuri insisted. Yuri carried all their shopping bags and carried Yoona on her back all the way up.

The moment they entered their apartment and Yoona came down, Yuri was panting and sweating.

It looks like she just had a week's worth of exercise.

Noticing this, Yoona got her handkerchief out and wiped her.

Suddenly, she kissed Yuri fully on her lips.

"W-What's that for?" Yuri asked still blushing and breathless from the kiss. She looked so damn adorable.

Yoona pecked her again and smiled. "I just love you."

Those where the times that Yoona is just thankful for having Yuri in her life.

The older girl proves that Yoona is wrong.

A great relationship doesn’t need expensive shows and huge gestures.

Sometimes, a sweet gesture from Yuri can make her day complete. And it is a big charm of Yuri. She cares enough to think of and do little ways and simple everyday things to remind Yoona that love is still in the air. A lot.

---

"What are you writing, huh?" Yuri asked at the same time that she successfully snatched the notebook Yoona is writing on.

Yoona glared at her and put her hands on her hips.

"Kwon Yuri, give that back to me."

"You're still fond of listing things---wait! You're listing about the qualities you like about your future lover?!" Yuri bursted out.

Yoona shook her head and snatched the notebook from the jaw dropped Yuri.

She again sat on the couch to continue her list. The older girl joined her soon after.

"So, did you already find someone that has those qualities?" Yuri asked cheekily.

Yoona feigned an act that she is thinking, "Uhm..I think, yes."

Yuri smirked.

"I think...it's with my colleague, Jang Geun Suk...or is it Nichkhun, that batchmate of ours--"

"That's it!" Yuri stood up from the couch.

"What?"

"You'll sleep on the couch!!!!"

"Yul!!!!"

---

Yuri can't sleep that night. She hates to admit that she can't sleep without Yoona beside her. She also has a pride to protect, you know.

She shook her head. She just needed to see her. Yuri picked up Yoona's blanket from the bed and went out.

So she tried to check on the girl sleeping at the couch.

She tiptoed her way to the living room. What caught her eyes is the serene sleeping angel that goes by the name Yoona. She put the blanket on her body. Unconsciously, Yuri smiled when Yoona smiled in her sleep.

She stood there watching Yoona's sleeping face for 10 minutes now.

'Yah! What am I doing?!' she scolded herself for being a creep.

She was about to go when Yoona's notebook caught her eyes. It was opened on the page where Yoona's earlier list was written. She went through the list and upon seeing the last number on the list made her smiling like an idiot.

8. Yoona likes--wait scratch that!  IM YOONA LOVES ONLY KWON YURI FOREVER. PERIOD.

Yuri was so touched that she cried tears of joy. Yeah, Yoona is serious when it comes to listing things and the last entry made her heart beat faster for the girl.

So, Yuri got a pen and started writing down the "supposed" last entry on the list.

9. AND KWON YURI LOVES ONLY IM YOONA SO DAMN MUCH FOREVER. PERIOD.

---NOTHING FOLLOWS---

Feeling proud of herself, Yuri decided to join the sleeping Yoona on the couch. She went back to their room to get an extra pillow for her and a bigger blanket for them.

When she was about to sit on the couch to slip beside the sleeping girl, Yoona pulled Yuri down much to the latter's surprise.

Yoona adjusted their position and snuggled closer to her. Yuri relented.

"Better. So now let's sleep," Yoona mumbled on the other girl's neck.

Yuri rested her chin on the top of Yoona's head.

"You just don't know how much I love you. I love you so much, Yoong."

Yoona chuckled sleepily, "I love you too so damn much."

So damn much? Wait! Is that my line?!

Yuri narrowed her eyes at her.

"W-What?! So you already read that--"

"Yes, so now can we sleep?" Yoona drifted off to dreamland before she can answer.

Yuri smiled. She pressed a gentle kiss on the girl's forehead.

She knew that she would forever love this girl.

Many people may possess all the qualities that Yoona likes to be present in her future lover and even the conditions and circumstances are just right, yet Yoona still finds herself incapable of loving another person.

Even though Yuri doesn't even possess any quality on that list, Yoona still loved her. And even though Yoona can list many things she likes and dislikes about Yuri, there is no other reason why she loved the other girl.

Because now Yoona knows what is love and what is the feeling of loving and being loved in return.

There are no reasons why we love someone. There are no qualities why we love someone. We love someone just because we do. Loving is loving for the sake of love, nothing more, nothing less.

Yoona loved Yuri just because she is Yuri.

She is thankful that she happened to fall in love with a person who also happens to give her all the right reasons for her to love the other girl.

And there is no other perfect place, for Yoona and Yuri, than to be here now---in the loving arms of the one that they truly love. Forever.

"One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving."
