Silent Talks
Description
Chanyeol was just walking by the dirty, silent streets near his neighbourhood. He was about to throw his now-empty soda can by the dark alleyway in the next corner when something caught his eye. A bit further in the shallow alley, underneath the dim light by the wooden post, there was a man sitting all alone. Badly injured, yet he was just looking at the graffiti-infested walls without any emotion. He was just there, breathing quietly.
Foreword
" Are you okay? " Chanyeol asked, even though obviously the man wasn't, judging by his injuries. Said man did not say a word, nor did he initiate any movement. He was just staring blankly.
" Do you need help? " Chanyeol tried again. No reply.
The injuries were getting worse, blood could be seen oozing all over his body. " Let's get you to a hospital, you need treatment. " The man beneath seemed to have flinched at that, already wide eyes widening even more. He shook his head frantically and starts to shake terribly.
" O-ok then, not the hospital, calm down. Then at least come to my home, we really need to treat your wounds, please? "
No reaction.
Chanyeol then slowly reached out his arms, and carefully helped the man to stand up. He didn't resist.
" I'll take that as yes, then. " Chanyeol smiled crookedly, feeling quite awkward with this man who spoke no words, but silently happy as he will be able to help him out.
Maybe then they would converse with each other.
