“ Flight 89B to London. We are now inviting those passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you.” The voice from the reception boomed throughout the airport. People from the crowd got up, held their luggage and proceeded to board the plane.

Upon standing from a bench, dark chocolate orbs noticed a pair of golden caramel from a distance. The former flicked his head toward the direction of the latter and saw a familiar face peeking from a post but suddenly turned around as if he wasn’t seen. Furrowing his brows, he stepped out of the way and ran to the other who was now running away.

“Kibum!” He called loudly. Said man halted but kept his back facing the former.

Slowly, caramel turned and faced the other. He bit his inner cheek stopping himself from crying. “Kibum. What are you doing here?” He was asked.

“J-Jonghyun. I-I uhm.. I’m seeing someone off.” He trembled, looking to the side.

Jonghyun followed where Kibum was looking and instantly he creased his eyebrows and glared when a man – seeming to be someone important with his attire- near the escalator was waving to their direction, looking longingly at.. the person in front him, who in turn was staring also. His blood boiled. “Let me guess, your new boyfriend? Is it him?” He pointed. At that, the last call for the flight resounded again. “I see you’ve found yourself another guy, huh? I’m not even surprised you found someone this fast. Tch.”

Not even a month has passed since they.. parted ways and now he goes here to bid farewell to his ‘new guy’. “No wait, Jong-..” He didn’t wait for Kibum to finish and instead turned, grabbed his suitcase and walked away. He threw inaudible curses to the man inside his mind.

He couldn’t help but snarl at the sight. What did he even expect? That Kibum was here to send him off? Funny thing was, he and the other’s boyfriend might be in the same plane together. What bad luck. And at his last day in Seoul! “It’s cool. I don’t care. I just need to get where I’m supposed to be and forget everything.” He whispered to himself.

Suddenly, as if a force made him stop from walking, he carefully spun and looked to where he was a while ago with the other boy. He frowned as he saw no caramel orbs and blonde locks standing there. Somehow he did hope that he would still be there. But no, he wasn’t.

And that made Jonghyun realize he did make the best decision in his life.

With that in mind, head held up, he left.

However, from a distance, hidden from the possible sight of the other, already puffed, bloodshot eyes let out uncontrollable tears and sobs. His head hurt drastically. The person clutched his chest tightly as hiccups escapes him. “Goodbye, Jonghyun..”
