Yoseob slung his backpack across his shoulders and skipped out of the hospital room only to be pulled back by an unknown force on his bag. Turning his head, his confused frown morphed into a wide smile as he beamed at Junhyung, "You're here! I thought you weren't coming! Anyway, Hyunseung have helped me with all the discharge administrative stuff so finally, I'm free!"     The CEO raised an eyebrow as he continued tugging on the bag, "I was held back by the meeting but who gave you the permission to be leaving this place without me? And skipping around with a heavy bag too!"     Yoseob tried to pry Junhyung's fingers off the bag as he grumbled defensively, "I'm fully recovered and I am able to take care of myself."     "It's not only about whether you are able to take care of yourself of not. This is also about how I am very worried that you might open up your wound from moving around so much and carrying such a load!"     The smaller male's defensive stance dissolved almost instantaneously as he gave a shy smile to Junhyung. He released his hold of his bag and helped the CEO put it on, adjusting the straps on the broad shoulders of his. As his hands slowly made their way to the back of Junhyung's neck, fingers intertwining together, he gazed meaningfully into his eyes. "I'm sorry for making you worried."     "You should be", Junhyung teased as he wrapped his arms around the slim waist of Yoseob, pulling him closer and inhaling deeply the unique scent of the police officer. "But all is forgiven since I'm such a kind hearted man. You've got to count your lucky stars that I'm such a nice person."     Yoseob gave a slight scoff before giving Junhyung a light peck on the nose and drawling "oh yes, i feel so very lucky."     "Mm hmm," Junhyung nodded his head as he rubbed his nose against Yoseob's cheeks, enjoying the softness of it, "I'm hot too, so I'm basically the whole package, you lucky lucky man."     "Don't push it."     The CEO burst into a bout of laughter as he saw how Yoseob's had an unamused expression on him, his eyes narrowed into slits. The smaller male soon followed, unable to keep up with the pretense of being annoyed, and leaned his forehead against the firm chest of Junhyung's chest. As their laughter subsided, Yoseob's smiled switched from a gleeful one to a blissful one. The arms around his waist tightened and he felt the older male pressing his cheeks against his hair, seemingly in contentment too.      "I wished you could just move in with me again," Junhyung murmured into the fluffy locks, heart tugging as he thought of how the mansion feels too big and too empty without Yoseob around.      The smaller male untangled his fingers at the back of Junhyung's neck and started his back soothingly, "You know I would love to live with you again". He smacked Junhyung's arm playfully as the older male gave a naughty smirk before returning his fingers back to the older male's neck, "but that place is so big with so many maids and butlers so eager to serve me and it makes me feel quite uncomfortable. With you around, it's fine. But what if you're at work? Now that I'm no longer your secretary, I foresee how my work's shift might clash with yours and I'll probably be alone mostly."     Junhyung sighed and then pouted, "this is the first time I'm getting snubbed for being rich." A heartening tinkling of laughter rang in his ears as Yoseob brushed his lips against his. "I'm not snubbing you for that."      The older male simple pouted more, obviously faking and dramatizing his disappointment, "you've got to do more than that for rejecting my offer."      Chuckling lightly, Yoseob nodded his head and pressed his lips tenderly against Junhyung, tightening his hold around the older male's neck. His heart swelled as he felt the tightening grip around his waist and how the warm pair of hands that landed on his lower back were drawing fluttering circles, delighting him in a dreamlike manner.      The older male smiled against the kiss, hearing the soft mew of pleasure that escaped from Yoseob's lips, knowing the effect he has on the smaller male. Not that he wasn't affected himself. Just the touch of Yoseob's lips could send him to heaven, and the smaller male's scent intensifies when he is pressed up against him, smelling a hundred, no thousand, no, million, billion, gazillion times better than a garden filled with blooming roses.      As he was about to deepen the kiss, a cough at the side was heard and he cursed internally, unwillingly breaking away from the piece of heaven that he was savoring. "Yes, Hyunseung?" He asked, tone of displeasure at being interrupted loud and clear.       "Well, I'm sorry for saving the eyes of many innocent passer-bys but for goodness sake, can you two be a little more subtle in your affection for one another? Just a little, I'm not even asking for much!" Hyunseung exclaimed exasperatedly, remembering how ever since Yoseob awoke a week ago, the two are always seen with their lips latched together. He didn't really mind and he was genuinely happy for Yoseob. However, he could see the lust and passion in Junhyung's dark eyes and he could imagine what might happen if he let the two continued. As much as he knew the smaller police officer knew what he was doing, as a friend, he would try to protect him from the 'wolf' from 'devouring' him for as long as he could.      Yoseob giggled and gave a light peck on Junhyung's cheeks to comfort the upset man before skipping over to Hyunseung, "sorry, can't help it! Anyway, when can I go back to work again?"     The older police officer looked at him reproachfully before stating sternly, "in another week maybe, rest more at home. There's no case for you yet, so, no rush."     For once, Junhyung smiled at Hyunseung, clapping his hands enthusiastically but stopping abruptly when Yoseob turned and glared at him momentarily. "Sorry", he mumbled sheepishly as Yoseob turned back to the senior inspector. "Hyunseung, I'm fine already, really!"     "No can do. I don't want your boyfriend", he pointed lazily to the CEO who was cheering silently behind, "to keep popping by the office just to check on you anyway. So rest for another week for his sake and my sake."      Yoseob groaned, knowing that he cannot change the mind of Hyunseung and pouted as he saw Junhyung, now doing a silent victory dance, oblivious that Yoseob's eyes were on him. "He's not my boyfriend yet.." He mumbled in disgruntlement as he stomped away and out of the hospital.      Junhyung immediately ran after him, "hey! You are! Stop saying you aren't!"     "Since when. I 'resigned' remember? And besides, you never asked."     "Yah! But we kissed! And hugged! And you said you love me! And and and! Yang Yo Seob, you can't be still doing this to me! Yah!" The CEO paced himself beside the smaller male, flailing his arms everywhere and whining endlessly as Hyunseung laughed at the scene in front of him, trying to catch up with the two.      ------    

"This is a blatant abuse of authority! I reject and object to this idea!"

    Hyunseung barely flinched at the harsh tone of Yoseob who was seething in his seat, opposite of him. He thanked the heavens internally that there was a desk between them or the smaller male would have pounced on him and beat him to a pulp. He lifted the case file that Yoseob had thrown hardly on the table and gently placed it in front of him again.      "I'm sorry but you really are the only police officer who I can trust to do this."     "So you let me, who have merely a week of break to take on such a case?"     Hyunseung sighed as he leaned forward, setting his elbows against the table, "you were begging for work during that week of rest."      "Yeah but I wasn't asking for this kind of work!"     "It's not very different from your previous case! This guy fears for his life, he needs protection, and you are the most suitable person for this role."     Yoseob snorted and tapped his feet impatiently, "you know, you put it so easily when you say it like that. But don't you recall how I said I didn't want to do such cases anymore? I want to be in a team, a real crime investigation team. Not be an undercover and mostly work alone only! Besides, Junhyung is going to flip if he knew I'm not going to meet him for days, weeks, or even months if I got to be with this guy 24/7!"     Hyunseung narrowed his eyes and rapped his knuckles against the table, "Yang Yo Seob, don't you dare raise your voice at me when we are in the office. And no, you are not allowed to reject this case. Take it. In fact, the guy is moving in tomorrow."     "Moving where?"     "The apartment beside yours."     "You mean those boxes that I saw being moved in belong to this fellow?! Why is he moving in next to me?!"     Hyunseung furrowed his brows and frowned, "didn't you read the file? He doesn't trust his own place and since he's going to be finding a new place, he decided to move in right beside you for convenience sake."     The smaller police officer was getting more and more annoyed as he listened, "this is a complete intrusion of my privacy. What are you going to do next, tear down the wall the separates our apartments?!"     "Yes", Hyunseung replied, shrugging his shoulders casually, "this way, you don't need to run through doors to save him or get to him."     Yoseob gaped at Hyunseung, wondering if this was just a terrible terrible prank that he was playing but when he saw the stoic face and stern eyes, he shut his mouth and glared at him, "fine but he's not coming over the line that I draw in replacement of the wall. Only I can cross the line."     The senior inspector smiled and nodded, "sure.      The smaller male stood up and hurried to the door immediately, causing Hyunseung to be slightly confused.
