Yejin’s eyes fluttered shut as she let him move his lips against hers. Their connected hands slowly fell, remaining interlocked as the focus drifted on the kiss. Even as another gust of wind rolled by, the girl didn’t shiver due to the comfort she felt in that moment. Despite Jackson’s random sneak attacks all those months ago, this was her first kiss. This is how Yejin imagined kissing to be. Something soft and warm yet moist and foreign, that brought peace and made her feel accepted. As the two of them broke away to catch a breath, the girl just leaned into the boy, cuddling her head against his chest. She felt a small chuckle vibrate through him while a soft smile overcame her face. His free arm wrapped around her and they stood into the middle of the park, like a cheesy teenaged couple unable to be more than a centimeter away from one another.

As Yejin rested her head against Youngjae’s torso, she saw from the corner of her eye the group of boys starting to leave the basketball court. Her eyes perked open as she remembered what she came to do in the first place.
“They’re leaving, we can go play now,” Yejin said with a tone of excitement as she lifted her head to look the boy in the eyes. He peered down at her and nodded as he loosened his grip and let his arm drop, still holding her hand with the other. The girl watched as the last few of the unknown guys left the park before she walked over to the court, friend in hand.
“What do you want to play?” Youngjae asked as they walked inside the chain-link barrier, Yejin letting go of his hand to chase after the ball across the court.
