Chapter 5: The Jung

 

08th December 2016, Thursday, 08:30 a.m.

The Wal Mansion: Main Bedroom.

 

It's been two days since Yul and his fellow friends arrived in Korea. Yul have decided to stay at home and enjoy his free time. A hectic schedule as an ambassador is really crazy. Now he's not an ambassador anymore he can breathe easy. Just then his eyes widen as he remember something. 

 

"Aish, how can I forget to inform her that I'm already in Korea?" Yul mumbles and reach for his phone right away. He search for a certain number and press it for a call.

 

 

"Hello?" He greet. 

 

"Yes, hello." A girl greet back in the other line. 

 

"Am I disturbing you?" He asked. 

 

"No. Not at all." She said.

 

"I'm in Korea now so I wonder when can we meet?" He asked more. 

 

"Lets meet this morning. Where do you feel comfortable to have a discussion?" She asked him this time. 

 

"Can we just meet at your office?" He asked back.

 

"Sure. I will give you the address later." She said.

 

"All right then. Goodbye." 

 

"Goodbye." She cut the call. 

 

 

 

He breath heavily and his chest moving up and down rapidly. "Why am I holding my breath anyway?" He talk to himself and shook his head. Yul then make a way to the living room and found his friends are busy with a lot of paper in their hands. 

 

"What is this?" He asked as he approached the three of them.

 

"This is the report of your resignation as an ambassador." Hyomin answer him. 

 

"Do I have any schedule for today?" Yul asked as he sit on the couch. 

 

"You have an interview with SBS World on 4 p.m." 

 

"Thanks Hyomin. By the way, I need to go out for a while. Jessica Jung request me to become her model." Yul said which makes the three of them turned their head to him. 

 

"Can I tag along?" Soo asked as his eyes are now blinking rapidly. 

 

"Why?" Yul asked which makes him caught off guard. 

 

"I'm truly a big fan of her, Your Highness." He said with a full of hope. 

 

"I thought you like Yoona more." Yul said as he frown. 

 

Soo grin innocently. "I like all of them so I don't want to let go of this golden opportunity." He said more.

 

"Sure. I'll be upstairs to get ready." He said and walk to the stairs.

"Oh my God! This is totally a dream come true!" Soo exclaimed happily. 

 

Hyomin and Hyo look at him weirdly and shook their head while smiling. 

 

 

 

Jung Mansion: SYJ's Room - 09:01 a.m.

Jessica POV

 

After received a phone called from him I immediately get myself ready. Finally we're going to meet. I wonder what he looks like in a real life. Like usual, I'm wearing my office attire. A white shirt with a black coat and black jeans. Soojung is going to scream like a fangirl if I tell her that I'm going to meet him.

 

Now I'm done preparing myself I should go now. I hope the price he offer is reasonable. I fix my cloth and walk downstairs. My family are having a breakfast now. I didn't feel like to eat this morning. Maybe I'll eat later once I arrived at my workplace. 

 

"Hi mom, dad, Soojung." I greet them. 

 

"You're early today.." My dad said.

 

"Yes. I have a important thing to handle." I said not wanting Soojung to know about him yet or she will bugging me to bring her along. "I guess I need to go now." 

 

"Take a breakfast first Sica.." Mom voice out. 

 

"I don't want to be late, mom. I will eat later okay?" I said and bid goodbye to them. 

 

 

 

Blanc & Eclare Group: CEO Jung Office - 09:45 a.m.

 

It rain cats and dogs. It such a bad weather for today. I wonder if our discussion will be going well. Wait. I can't believe that I'm going to meet a prince. I mean what should I do when he's here? How should I greet him? Hmm. Well lets google things up.

 

 

 

How to greet a royal?

 

1. For men this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small curtsy. Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way.

2. On presentation to The Queen, the correct formal address is 'Your Majesty' and subsequently 'Ma'am,' pronounced with a short 'a,' as in 'jam'.

3. For male members of the Royal Family the same rules apply, with the title used in the first instance being 'Your Royal Highness' and subsequently 'Sir'.

4. For other female members of the Royal Family the first address is conventionally 'Your Royal Highness' and subsequently 'Ma'am'.

 

 

 

Hmm. So I need to shake hand with him? Should I bow too? Hmm this is confusing. Fine lets close my phone and practice because I guess he will be here in any minute from now on. Get up when he enter the room and bowed a bit then offer a handshake. All right now I should just wait for him.

 

Tapping my hands at the chair hands and wait for him nervously. I spin my chair around and look at the scenery through the glass window in my office. I can see a whole city at this sight. I was zoning out a bit and then the rain beginning to slow down.

 

Just then I heard a knock at the door. For the first time I get up and open the door. Usually I just said 'Get in'. That is what a CEO usually do right? Keke. I want to be like a CEO in a drama too sometimes you know? I open the door and it's revealing him. He's soak in rain. He's wearing a white jeans pant with a red short sleeves shirt. His bright red shirt are now becoming dark.

 

"Your Royal Highness." I said as I bowed at him and offer a handshake. 

 

He smile at me a bit and bowed a little. He then take my hand for a handshake. "Hello.." 

 

"Have a seat." I said as I close the door. It seems like he come here alone. 

 

"Sorry that I need to greet you in this condition" He said in apologetic tone and take a sit in front of my work table. 

 

"No thats fine. No one know that the weather will suddenly turn bad today." I said to him as he nodded. "Shall we start now?" I asked him.

 

"Sure but before that, I'm Kwon Yul.." He said. After being on a phone call for two times already and only right now you're going to introduce yourself uh? 

 

"Nice to meet you, Your Royal Highness." I said and bowed at him again. I just don't know what to do. I meet with the royal for the first time in my life. What do you expect from me anyway? Of course I'm nervous.

"So how many suits are there in total?" He asked as he flip the book of my suits design. 

 

"It is ten suits in total." I said and he seems a bit shocked. Did I asked for too much?  

 

"Okay. I agree to be the model of the suits." He said as he close the book and look at me with a smile on his face.

 

"Thank you.." I said and smile back at him. "What about the payment?" 

 

"How much did you usually paid to your model?" He asked me back. 

 

"Well before this I only launched a woman stuff so I didn't hired any model because I'm the one who became the model for it." I explain to him as he nodded. He's surely a man with a few words. He didn't talk too much. 

 

"What about 500,000 USD? That is the lowest price I can give you. Is that okay to you?" He asked. I think he's a considerate person. 

 

"Deal.." I said even though that is still a big amount but what can I do? Consider he's being nice. "Can I know what is the usual price if you modelled something?" I gathered my courage to asked him. 

 

"It's around 10 million USD." What? Is he freaking kidding me?! There are too big amount different! Thank God he's being so nice towards me. Wonder why.

 

"As expected from the top model." I said to him and he smile at me. 

 

"When will I need to come here again for the photoshoot?" He asked me as he reach for his phone in his pocket. 

 

"What about tomorrow?" I asked him and I found him busy looking through his phone. 

 

"What time?" He asked without looking at me. 

 

"10 a.m.?" I asked as I flip my schedule book. 

 

"Sure." He said as he slid his phone in his pocket.

 

"Please sign here." I gave him a piece of paper and a pen. 

 

"I guess it's done now right?" He asked as he done signed the work paper agreement. 

 

"Yes, Your Royal Highness." I said.

After a few seconds I saw him hesitate a bit. I can't help but smile a bit but then I focus on my work paper again. "Miss Jessica, before I go I have a favour to ask." He said politely. 

 

"Sure, Your Royal Highness." I notice that he smile a bit every time I called him 'Your Royal Highness'. Wonder if I said it in a wrong way?

 

"One of my friend would like to meet you. He said that he's a fans of yours." He said to me as he shook his head. Oh. Oh. I got fans from a royal family? That is interesting! 

 

"Sure.. Where is he?" I asked as I look at him.

 

He then press a few buttons on his phone keyboard and wait for the door to be open. Someone knock the door. I don't know how to act but before I manage to stand up that person open the door. He froze at his spot as he saw me. "Hello, Your Royal Highness." I greet which makes his face turns pale.  

 

"E-Err.. I'm not from a royal f-family.." A man that was frozing a second ago said as he stutter. Oh crap! It is so embarrassing! I can't even look at both of them right now. 

 

"He's Lieutenant General Samuel Choi Soo." That prince introduced his friend to me. Why won't he introduced me his friend earlier? Is he already planned to embarrass me? Duhh!

 

"Hello Lieutenant General." I said as I bowed at him and he bowed back at me too. Such an embarassing moment. Phew. 

 

"Can I take a picture wth you and an autograph?" He asked me as his eyes blinking now. 

 

"Sure.." I said to him as I walk approaching him now. 

 

"Your Highness, can you take a picture of us?" That man asked and I look at Prince Yul or shall I just call him Yul? Well not in front of him but in my thought only. 

 

"Sure." He said and take a phone from him. "On count one, two, three." He said and I heard a click sound. "Done.." He said shortly. Hmm. It's hard to figure out what kind of person he is.
