* The short story basically tackles about the Five Stages of Loss (DABDA - Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression & Acceptance). As someone who had studied about this in one of my college majors, its a topic I enjoy since it basically talks about how humans react at the moment of loss. Human psychology. Not just the lost of a loved one but even other things, people you've lost in another way. Like losing a valuable possesion (money, house, etc) or losing a friend (because she went away/ fought with you). Some may not know of these stages happening, consciously, because basically each of us don't need to be educated about it to understand that we feel it too like what the theorist(s) said.

* Personal satisfaction - I like the story since it''s brief, each chapter is very on point, yet it's like reading a full length story. Everything you want to be in the story is there, and the stages of loss are well portrayed in every chapter. Besides, behind the meaning to her words, the romance was well portrayed between the characters.
