“You want me to...what?” Onew blinked, and the other SHINee members looked at each other uneasily.

“Moan.” The director said, looking at his script carefully. The reactions of the boys unfazed him.

“M..”

“You want our leader to moan for the majority of the song?” Minho softly asked, blinking. Key was frowning, and Jonghyun had a smirk on his face. Taemin, for some reason, had turned pink.

Onew looked pale.

“Moan like a girl.”

“Can’t we just get a girl then?” Key questioned, reasonably enough.

Onew nodded in agreement and Minho nodded as well. Jonghyun frowned at this, realizing that that was certainly a possibility.

“SMENT doesn’t want to get anyone else involved.”

“So I’m to play the role of a girl?” Onew asked, in disbelief.

“Yes.”

“No.”

“But..”

“Why can’t you get Key to do it! He’s more prone to like a girl!” Onew burst out, frustratedly.

“Yah, what’s that supposed to mean?”

Everyone looked at Key. Jonghyun’s ears turned red, and Key’s cheeks tinged pink. 

“Let’s just get a girl, lots of people involve-” Onew was cut off by Jonghyun, who suddenly interrupted, clearing his throat.

“You know, that new MV by Super Junior did seem really..questionable, because they didn’t want to get a girl in the MV…”

“No Other?” Taemin piped up, trying to remember his hyungs’ video. 

“Yeah...is SMENT really that averse to not getting a girl involved?” Minho asked, looking around at the manager, who said nothing.

“They used to be fine, right?” Key added, remembering a couple of their past MVs. They had very few with extra girls, but-

“This isn’t going to even become an MV!” Onew suddenly burst out. “They just want to torture me!”

“Listen, Jinki, you have to understand that-”

“I am not like a girl on the brink of !” 

“Come on, Onew, just imagine you’re eating chicken or something.” Minho said now, feeling exasperated and wanting the practice to start already.

“I’m NOT .” 

Key suddenly looked at Jonghyun, an evil glint in his eyes.

“Why don’t we see what we can do to get him to moan?” Jonghyun blinked at Key’s words, and Taemin and Minho all snapped their heads to the other boy.

“Oh, hyung, like a game!” Taemin said, happily clapping his hands together. A look of amusement passed over Minho’s face, and Jonghyun looked deep in thought, before looking from Key to Onew, who’s eyes had widened.

“We’ll call it: Let’s Get Onew to Moan.” He said, smirking.
