hey guys! so, i'm probably guessing you all detest my guts by now (don't worry, i despise myself too) and as much as i'd like to use school as an excuse, it won't exactly be valid since i made another fic (which i'm shamelessly plugging, so please check out and apply for after prom catastrophes, thank u!). however, there is a certain reason to why this story is neglected. not a good one, but an explanation nonetheless. if you guys have been paying attention to the mess of a story feed, which you can see at the right side of the page, you'd know that i'm losing inspiration for this story. granted, i published this when i was still fresh in the community and is curious to see how authoring an applyfic goes, making my lack of experience with handling a fic pretty deficient. so, with that, i've been contemplating whether or not i should close this down. there's a lot of reasons why i should, and that includes 1) absence of motivation, 2) undetermined flow of story and 3) lack of experience with writing multiple characters (one i'm working on with apc pls apply). furthermore, it'll be of less burden to me since i won't have to fret a lot about the quality of this story. i'll be the receiving end to the victory here anyway, so why shouldn't i?
the answer is pretty simple: because of the readers. i've always been such a fan of audiences, acknowledging them as one of the reasons why i choose to write. i like seeing them appreciate what i've done, even if i don't myself. i love it when people compliment, comment or show a bit of interest to the work i've exerted. it's exhilarating, and knowing that it's the primary reason to why applyfics exist in the first place, i concluded that i will not delete this. it's a momentary phase of disinterest and i know someday, i'll have tons of ideas for this. i don't want every of my readers' and appliers' efforts to create a character to end up futile, i want to let them know that i value their attempts. so, with that, i've come to the decision to merely put this on hold. all i'm asking for is patience and i promise that as long as you guys don't give up on this story, me or your characters, then i will never resort to givng up on you guys as well. i'm sorry for the absence, i'm sorry for presenting you guys with false hopes with this sudden update, but behind the apologies i've thrown, i am more than grateful to see the large amount of subscribers. whether you're a silent reader or someone who comments a lot, i'm am still thankful that you're sparing a bit of attentiveness to this story. once again, thank you so, so much for the support! i love you all! ♡
