It is said that since the Joseon era, a terrible curse fell upon the royal family. Although many kings tried to unfold the curse, as a last attempt  to protect their sons, no one was able to get rid of the damn spell. According to the legend, every crown prince must sacrifice their first wife , in order to receive the crown. For generations the crown princess died on the day of their first anniversary and it is believed that many were with child.
