We see things differently in our world. For one, most of us don't see colors at all.  You see, there's only one circumstance in which our vision will turn from the disturbingly standard black-and-white to all the colors that we've only ever heard about in our dreams. And that special circumstance is meeting our soulmate.

Growing older meant that there would be changes. Changes I didn't anticipate.  Changes in the form of a new girlfriend.  Someone who pushes us apart, to the point where I couldn't recognize my best friend even if I wanted to. But what if he didn't want to recognize me at all?
