Chapter Count
Mark and Haechan were stuck to the hip until one day when a bad fight led to a month long rivalry. Secrets are revealed and emotions are hurt. What will they do to keep their friendship?
"I know you've heard" Ten starts. Planning to probe on the younger. He knows that Sicheng have heard the news he wouldn't be here all alone in this cold night out in the rooftop just to think things.
Hyuck meets Mark's classmate.
Gone were the days when the boys were just young teenagers, trying to figure out who they really were at a summer of fun. They'd grown up, into (sort of) adults, running the summer camp that had changed their lives.
Mark's college friends thought that Mark made up having a boyfriend that he met at camp. Those es would soon find out that they thought wrong.
Mark was just working in the Vet diligently. Just when he thought that his day will become uneventful like the usual, Haechan suddenly appeared. Once in a while, Mark thought that life has a lot in store for himself. And the younger.
Why are we so different yet so alike? It wasn't a coincidence that Mark and Donghyuck were destined to be soulmates. No matter the wreckage, Mark never doubted Donghyuck would always be there to stand by him - even if the world was against him. So venturing into his college years seemed a tad bit frightening at first, but befriending new people doesn't prove as much of a challenge to Mark after all. Heck
Donghyuck thinks he’s doing pretty damn well at this hero business. (feat. exasperated boyfriend Taeil and cutely clueless Mark)
Mark takes a look inside Donghyuck's closet.
Mark knew that he might be being a little over dramatic. So what if Donghyuck missed his basketball game? So what if he didn't call Mark to inform him that he wouldn't be there to wave a giant collage of Mark's baby pictures to cheer him up? So what if Mark didn't hear an "I love you, Makeu-ya! ", when he made that buzzer beater three points shot that made their team win? So what? It's not supposed to be a big deal, right? Except it was. To him, it
"Why don’t you let a good alpha, a strong one to claim you? Like me." or that won't leave mark alone in the hall and donghyuck is here for him (ft. chensung at the end because i see jisung as a little baby who gets jealous of anyone chenle talks 2)
Eighteen teenage boys, one magical summer camp that they all called home. What could possibly go wrong?
After his freshman year of high school, Doyoung goes to Camp Purple, an all boys summer camp. He meets nine other boys who change his life forever.
MarkHyuck hang out with their friends.
"I love you so much. I always did and i always, always will" mark said and put donghyuck's hand on his chest, "as long as this heart keeps beating, it will love you and it will belong to you. Never forget."
“When will your life be fun, Mark Lee?” “Maybe when you stop asking it to be, Johnny Seo,” He retaliated, earning a good natured laugh from the older who accompanied him all the way to the seats of the hall. “And my life isn’t boring.” “Name me one thing that’s interesting other than soccer.” Lee Donghyuck. The kid who sings. The kid who is sarcastic. And the kid who doesn’t care about how many people know he’s gay.
When Mark finally gets his red string of fate, but it's connected to the last person he had expected it to be.
Mark and Hyuck go to the local fair.
Mark volunteers to drive Donghyuck to his house to pick up some stuff he needs.
bit·ter·sweet /ˈbidərˌswēt/ adjective 1. (of food, drink, or flavor) sweet with a bitter aftertaste.
The exchange, the give and take of words is obvious to him in the moment. "Take me out on a date. Make it up to me." "A date?" "A date." Donghyuck confirms, already grinning because Mark is backing up, blinking wildly at him. (basically Donghyuck falling for Mark)
Everyone who knows Lee Donghyuck knows this: he's quite the charmer. Mark Lee, exactly his type, the way to go about this, he thinks, is to have him. It only makes sense.
And Jaemin laughs at him because Marks pretty sure he's blushing, it's embarrassing. "I just-I don't know. Nothing happened." Mark mutters, a little annoyed Donghyuck told him, feels a little guilty too but it was all friendly enough, this 'cuddling' Jaemin seems too happy to tease about. "Bestfriends can cuddle." Mark complains, to which Jaemin says, "Not like that." And yeah-he guesses Jaemin has a point.
The younger makes up everything that he is. With no Donghyuck to love he doesn't have a purpose, empty as the universe with no stars, no moons or planets or the sun, just dead, unmoving. Useless. His everything is completely full of the boy.
As of this moment they're just neighbors. Donghyuck never says a word to Mark, and just like before he helps the younger collect those fruit of his and when the boy stands with the bag in his hands Mark tries to hand him the last tangerine. Donghyuck turns away from him quite easily. Like they were never in love.
"I can't-like-explain what it is about relationships that terrify me so much, I can't." "You want to kiss me though." Donghyuck points out, eyebrows raised. "Yes." Mark almost cries. "Yes?" "Yes and No." The elder whines, starting them over in this vicious cycle of theirs.
Mark is somewhat convinced that Lee Donghyuck is actually an alien. It only makes sense. Normal people aren't that pretty.
I never forget mentioning your name everynight in my prayer. I pray to God, wishing He could returns you to me.
In which Mark Lee lived the life alone he and his best friend, Lee Donghyuck, envisioned when they were kids.

Donghyuck didn't expect waking up in an unknown place with nothing but his phone with him. But it was fine, mark was there to help him. To save him...right?
Mark thinks Donghyuck is very cute.

Mark is damned, and he would say his new companions were too, if the word didn't have another meaning to it. To correct himself, he is a Damned; someone who survived an epidemic and instead woke up with the nature of a monster. But as he is surrounded by other Damned, while trying to protect his best friend and new companions, he can’t help but see through their wild nature and suddenly see a people that are desperately trying t
Donghyuck can ask Mark to lie and to break all the rules for him.Hell,he can even ask Mark to take a bullet for him and Mark's answer will always be yes.
Johnny just innocently walks by his youngest son's room when he hears it. He is not at all snooping or spying on his youngest baby. He would never. He trusts his son and respects Donghyuck's privacy. Johnny will never be a over-bearing, over-protective psycho parent micro-managing his kid's every move. That's just messed up. But then again as he hears a groan of discomfort and a whiney, "it hurts" coming from inside that closed doored room all that goes out the window.
Donghyuck thinks that he's always right. And this time, Mark doesn't really dislike it.
If Ten could describe his relationship with Johnny he would say it was like being in the same city and yet being in a long distance relationship without there being an actual relationship. Because if Ten was head over heels in love with Johnny, he was pretty sure Johnny was as oblivious to his feelings as ever.
