This is a little introduction about me. I am a newly licensed dentist and I just started working early this month. My first patient was a guy around my age. Afer his first treatment, I gave him my calling card so he could set his next appointment.

Later that night, he texted me.

Patient: Yes that's it! :)

Me: I think you've missent that text, sir.

Patient: Oh sorry. Hope I didn't disturb you or anything.

(I didn't reply. It was almost midnight.)

Patient: Doc...

Me: What is it?

Patient: I have something to tell you. Is it okay?

(I wondered why. Did I do anything wrong in the procedure??)

Me: Okay. What is it about?

Patient: Doc, I like you.

Okay. So my instinct was correct after all. I admit he's kinda cute but I don't flirt with patients. It's unprofessional so I just kept it cool. (although I was kinda smitten!)

Me: Thank you. :)

HAHAHA! The next day, he texted me again.

Patient: I was planning to tell you that in person but I got nervous. Can I just ask one question? What is the fastest way to have tooth decay?

Me: Sir, I'm a dentist. I should be telling you to take care of your teeth, and not destroy them. You're funny.

HAHA. The conversation was senseless, he kept on asking me how to destroy his teeth just so he could visit me again.

So far I'm enjoying my work! And I plan to study further so I could become a part of a cosmetic surgery team someday: My dream job!

P.S. My bestfriend hates every guy who makes a move on me. Even if I tell her that they're decent, she finds a little something that could make me NOT like them. I don't understand. Maybe this is the reason why I hesitate a bit to tell her things about my lovelife. But even so, I love her so much that no one can even take her spot. The other night, we confessed to each other that we should find a boy version of each other. Hahaha.
