Taewon often wears jeans that are ripped in different places or in any way looks worn out. With that he wears a slightly big t-shirt with a jacket, or a pullover. He likes wearing beanies. He likes accessories a lot too and will wear a lot of rings, bracelets and necklaces. He wants to look laidback but cool at the same time. 
In the practice room he wears basketball shorts and a tank top or a hoodie. It's basically the same style he has in the dorm. And he loves his black converse all star shoes so much that he would marry them if he could.

Well-spoken: Taewon always knows what to say and when to say it. He has sense and that gives him good social skills. He can lift the mood and save his friends/members when they've said something awkward or weird. He can help s on variety shows so they don't lose face and he can smoothly change subject. He's good at responding to almost all sorts of questions, and he can also avoid an unpleasant subject unnoticed. 
Funny: Being well-spoken also helps him be funny. He can tell a story that's not even funny, but by telling it right, it becomes funny. He can also do body gags and he's not afraid of making a fool out of himself every once in a while to make someone laugh. He likes to entertain.
Caring: Whether the person is young or old, Taewon feels the need to help and care for others. He has always been like that, and after getting a little brother, the need only grew. He especially takes good care of those younger than him.
Overprotective: Taewon's caring to the point where he becomes overprotective. People need to try new things and only by trying you can learn and get better. But unfortunetly Taewon often ends up getting in the way for those close to him. He often holds those around him back, even though it's not his intention. His family and close friends have all suffered because of this. There's a lot of things they wanted to try, but was never able to because of Taewon. s experience it too. The only one he can't hold back (no matter how much he tries) is his 4D blood type AB younger brother Taehyung.
Worrywart: Taewon tends to worry over every little detail and can't make spontaneous descisions (a trait he got from his mother). He stresses himself out a lot by worrying som much when there's really no need to. There's a lot of things he never got to do or experience because he worries too much. His worrying is also what makes him overprotective. He often spoils the fun for his friends by telling them everything that could go wrong.
Nosy: Other people's business doesn't always concern him, but he thinks it does. He's curious about others and it often gets out of hand. He wants to know about things that has got nothing to do with him and if the person won't tell him, then he'll just find out on his own. That has lead to a lot of fights and quarrels between him and his family/friends/members.

Taewon was born and raised in Daegu, South Korea. When he was three years old his little brother Taehyung was born. The two boys were inseparable and it was a normal and happy family life. Nothing really exciting happened to Taewon until he entered high school. During his second year his class was supposed to perform a musical for the school so they all had to show their skills in singing and acting before they were assigned to a role. Taewon's friends had always told him that he was good at singing when they went to karaoke, but he wasn't sure how good he really was. But after showing his talents, he was assigned to the male lead in the musical. He completely fell in love with singing and acting after that. He also became an ulzzang and some of his classmates suggested that he should become an idol. But he wasn't sure he could really make it, so a year later he took part in a singing contest in Daegu where he got second place. He decided to tell his parents that he wanted to become a singer once he had graduated high school. But then he found out that his brother shared the same dream and had already gotten permission to go to Seoul to audition. So Taewon didn't say anything and Taehyung ended up getting into Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee. 
After graduating high school Taewon entered college as an arts student but he didn't let go of his dream of becoming a singer. When he was 20 years old he went to audition for CJes Entertainment without his parents knowing. He got accepted and decided that no matter what he wanted to chase his dream. When he told his parents, they were surprisingly supportive. His mom said that if he entered that world, he might be able to look after Taehyung. Shortly after that Taehyung debuted in BTS under the stage name V and Taewon worked hard so he would one day be able to follow.

Mother — Park Eun Hye // 45 // veterinarian // worrywart, gentle, patient // Taewon's mother is the typical loving and worried mother. She's gentle and always showers her family with love and affection. Taewon loves his mother very much and is a mama's boy.

Younger brother — Kim Taehyung // 19 // member of BTS // 4D, playful, adventurous // Taehyung would follow Taewon around a lot while they were growing up. Taewon has always cared a lot for his younger brother and often checks up on him. He loves spending time with Taehyung and make sure that he's doing well.

Best friend — Park Jimin // 19 // member of BTS // prankster, playful, charismatic // Taewon met all the members of BTS when he appeared in one of their MVs. He immediately got along with Jimin who is also close with Taehyung. Even though Jimin is three years younger, they get along really well and are really close. Jimin often asks for Taewon's advice and respects him a lot.

They even stayed together after Taewon became a trainee. But shortly before he debuts, they break up because it turns out Jiwon had been cheating on him for months. They are not in contact at all anymore.

Why did you choose this company to join — To be honest I was hesitant about being a singer at first because I've heard of the slave contracts and seen that some idols just needed to break free from them. Seeing JYJ sunbaenims break free from SM and join CJes they did well afterwards. That somehow made me feel like CJes entertainment could be trusted. At first I wanted to join Taehyung's company but I quickly changed my mind and auditioned for CJes. And I'm very happy that I did.

What do you hope to see in your debut? — I hope that people won't only label us as a co-ed group and forget about our skills. We've trained for this and we all worked hard to get here. I don't want people to only remember us as "the co-ed group" but as a group with amazing singers and dancers. 

what concepts are you hoping to try? — I really want to try something similar to VIXX sunbaenims. You know, a dark and supernatural concept that makes an impact and make people remember us. That would be cool!

other — The two girlfriends Taewon has had both cheated on him and moved on easily while he was in pain. After breaking up with Jiwon, Taewon is feeling betrayed and in pain and he has a hard time getting over her. So now if a girl tells him that she likes him, he doesn't really believe it. Because of that he doesn't feel like starting a new relationship with anyone and when meeting girls he doesn't look them in the eye. He just wants to focus on his career and get over Jiwon.
