fashion style — Jonghoon often wears jeans that are ripped in different places or in any way looks worn out. With that he wears slightly big t-shirts with a jacket, or a pullover/hoodie. Charismatic: When people see Jonghoon on stage and when he's wearing his serious face, they find him a little intriguing. He can overflow with charisma when he really makes an effort and he can at times seem a little unapproachable. But he's even charismatic when he doesn't try. He just has this aura that makes him likeable and pulls people in.
Well-spoken: Jonghoon always knows what to say and when to say it. He has sense and that gives him good social and variety skills. He can lift the mood and save his friends/members when they've said something awkward. He can help s on variety shows so they don't lose face and he can smoothly change the subject. He's good at responding to almost all sorts of questions, and he can also avoid an unpleasant subject unnoticed. 

Funny: Being well-spoken also helps him be funny. He can tell a story that's not even funny, but by telling it right, it becomes funny. He can also do body gags and he's not afraid of making a fool out of himself sometimes to make people laugh. He truly is an entertainer.

Caring: Whether the person is young or old, Jonghoon feels the need to help and care for others. He has always been like that, and after getting a little sister, the need only grew. He especially takes good care of those younger than him and that makes him good leader material.

Social:  He likes being around friends and family, but he also enjoys meeting new people. He doesn't mind being in a big crowd and he's always very friendly towards everyone he talks to. This makes him good at fanservice and he always enjoys communicating with fans.

Over Protective: Jonghoon is caring to the point where he becomes overprotective. People need to try new things and only by trying you can learn and get better. But unfortunetly Jonghoon often ends up getting in the way. He often holds those around him back, even though it's not his intention. Especially his sister has suffered under this and there's a lot of things she wanted to try, but was never able to because of Jonghoon. s also often experiences this.

Worrywart: Jonghoon tends to worry over every little detail and  can't make spontaneous descisions. He stresses himself a lot by worrying so much when there's really no need to. There's a lot of things he never got to do or experience because he worries too much. His worrying is also what makes him overprotective.

Nosy: Other people's business doesn't always concern him, but he thinks it does. He's curious about others and it often gets out of hand. He wants to know things that has nothing to do with him and if the person won't tell him, then he'll just find out on his own. That has lead to a lot of fights and quarrels between him and his friends/family/members.

Messy: This boy leaves a trail of mess all over the place no matter where he is. You can find his socks and underwear the weirdest and most unexpected places. He leaves trash lying around as well. He also lets his clothes lying on the floor (also the clean pieces) because he's too lazy to put it back in the closet (which is a big mess too). He rarely cleans because he doesn't think it's messy and he doesn't understand that others don't want to live in his mess.

Stubborn: Jonghoon is a person who knows what he wants, and when he wants something, he'll do almost whatever it takes to get it. But he also knows what he doesn't and then no one can make him do it. When he has made a decision, he's as solid as a rock. Nothing people say can make him change his mind. That doesn't always work in his favor and he needs to learn when to back down. It can ruin teamwork if he's not willing to listen to others out of stubborness.

Jonghoon was born in Seoul on January 3rd 1994. His parents were busy career people and they didn't really have much time for their first son so his grandparents often looked after him. When Jonghoon was 5 years old, his sister was born and his parents couldn't really look after both of them, so Jonghoon was sent to live with his grandparents (they also lived in Seoul). Three years after that, his sister came to live there as well. Jonghoon has always adored his little sister and helped taking care of her. She would always follow him around and he liked that. He also felt very attached to his grandparents, especially his grandfather. He felt very loved and safe living with them.

The grandfather owned a taekwondo studio where he taught others himself. Jonghoon started training there when he was 5 and his grandfather always said he was born for taekwondo. He kept doing taekwondo and he would also compete in other countries sometimes. Which is why he studied English and Chinese so he could communicate better. 

In middle and high school he was quite popular because of his good looks and the fact that he was athletic. Always hanging out with many people gave him the good social skills he now possesses.

During his second year in high school he discovered something he liked besides taekwondo. He fell in love with music. He still focused on taekwondo,  but on the side he would sing and dance in his room. It's not that he was embarrassed about it, he just wasn't sure what his grandfather would say. But when he entered high school he didn't want to keep it a secret anymore and talked with his grandparents about it. He said that he wanted to be a singer and go to an audition. To his surprise they both supported him and said that he should do what felt right for him. The only condition was that he waited until he graduated high school. Jonghoon agreed and after graduating he auditioned for CUBE Entertainment where he got in.

Jiwon is a bright and outgoing person who's easy to get along with. She also has humour and likes to play around. She finds it fun to pull pranks on her friends, but always in a loving manner and she can be mature when needed. She's smart and eager to learn new things if it catches her attention. She always got good grades throughout her school years and on top of that she has a great memory. She smiles a lot and her laughter in contagious.
Jiwon is rather blunt and that sometimes gets her in trouble. She'll say something that sounds rude, even though she doesn't intend to be rude or hurt someone's feelings. On top of that she's an honest person and not the type to tell a white lie just to make someone feel better. So if you don't want an honest answer or opinion, then don't bother asking. 
Because she's so knowledgeable, she tends to be a know-it-all. She's sometimes surprised when people don't know something she concideres basic knowledge. She can seem spiteful when she tells the person they should know something like that. She doesn't always realize just how smart she is and that not all people know everything that she knows.

Jiwon's family lived next to Jonghoon's grandparents so they've known each other since Jonghoon was 5. Jiwon is a year younger but they still became playmates and acted like they were the same age. They basically grew up together and many people has confused them as siblings. Even when they entered school, they were joined by the hip. During middle school, Jonghoon began recieving attention from girls. They also thought Jiwon and Jonghoon were siblings and those who knew they weren't, never expected them to be dating. Jonghoon was good looking, athletic and popular, while Jiwon was awkward, geeky and shy (at least among other people than her family and Jonghoon). Jiwon wasn't very pretty either with short hair and glasses. But to Jonghoon none of that mattered and if someone insulted or bullied her, he would take her side. Jiwon tended to piss people off because of her know-it-all personality, but Jonghoon always managed to save her because he's well-spoken. On the other hand Jiwon was the only person who didn't let Jonghoon hold her back and she often pushed him to do things his worrywart personality normally wouldn't allow.

Jonghoon and Jiwon was always together and Jonghoon wasn't romantically interested in other girls because he had a crush on Jiwon. He wasn't sure about how she felt but they shared their first kiss together when Jonghoon was 15. They never became a couple because Jiwon was sent to study in the US shortly after that. 
When Jonghoon saw Jiwon again, she was 18 and she had changed completely. She had bloomed and had become very beautiful. She was also more confident in herself so she had become more open. But she was the same with Jonghoon and to him she had always been pretty. Though he was really taken aback at first, he quickly got used to it and it was as if they had never been apart. His feelings for her also started to return and they were stronger this time. She also liked him and confessed to him a year after she got back. Even though he liked her, he turned her down because his life was too hectic for a girlfriend and if he debuted, it will only get worse. He was afraid shewould feel lonely and hurt because he couldn't be there for her. They stayed close and they both knew they had feelings for each other, they were just not a couple.
Future RELATIONSHIP 
Jonghoon can't let go of his feelings for Jiwon and he doesn't see any other girls. He makes sure to stay in contact with her throuh texts and phone calls, but he always wants to see her and misses her. Whenever they manage to meet, Jonghoon's not sure what he can and can't do. He wants to act like a couple, but he's afraid it'll only hurt Jiwon more. In the end they talk it through and even though they're not officially a couple, they can't help but act like one anyway. They'll go on dates where they hold hands and kiss like any other couple, they just do it in secret. When the CEO finds out (not through the media but through the manager), he talks with Jonghoon about it and they reach an agreement. Jonghoon can date Jiwon, but he needs to be careful and if it gets out, they'll have to break up, unless he changes his mind in the meantime. Jonghoon agrees and starts dating Jiwon officially.
