despite her short stature, qi's confidence levels are through the roof. she's quite conceited, believing she looks good in anything she wears and can make others fall from her from the first meeting by her smile alone. she's shameless if anything, and won't hesitate in flirting with someone if she deems the other person cute enough and to her standards. she can also be blunt and honest because of this, but it's not like she can actually hurt someone's feelings by her words ( except poor jongin bb, she swears she didn't mean it in a bad way when she told him he acted like a cute dog ). if one tilts his or her head and squints a little, he or she can definitely see the resemblence between her and her cousin who claims he's the hottest thing on the planet amongst the ladies.
however, qi is also friendly and open, maybe even a bit too friendly with how she's quick to be touchy with people and mess with their hair or clothes. she'll be one of the first to initiate conversations with others, even though her ways may be unconventional. she could go for the simple "hi, i'm key. what's up today?" or the more weird or awkward "sup man, what's with your face?" despite this though, she's very loyal to those she deems as close friends ( even if it doesn't seem like it with how she insults them sometimes ) and is even noticeably protective over them, being one of the first to back her friends up in need. ( she gets highly protective over her cousin if there are one too many jokes about him that is a bit too much. )
she also doesn't lose her temper easily either, being mild-mannered in that sense. she just gets annoyed with people if they constantly do something to bug her ( like lu han and his glitter, or baekhyun beating her in contests ) or constantly win against her in a competition. she doesn't even yell, and it's rare to see her shouting at somebody because she's actually angry at the person. others can say she can become competitive, and it only becomes more and more apparent when she loses and can't understand why baekhyun can work more lingerie better than her.

background: wu qi was born to wu jin and zhu fang in vancouver, canada on february 4, 1991. nothing exciting really happened in her life except when li jiaheng aka kevin li aka wu yifan moved to vancouver, canada when he was just a toddler. throughout their life, they've always been with each other, being in the same grade and the only children in their families. as they grew up, their parents realized qi was the one helping keep yifan in line ( for some odd reason ) and when yifan moved to south korea ( for who knows what reason ), they decided it was best for qi to follow him as well after she took some korean classes in university and graduated.
lifestyle: qi lives with yifan in his smallish but comfortable apartment. they only have one full bathroom but two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a small living space. they live in incheon, considering it's definitely close to the incheon international airport. qi isn't really an early riser ( and neither is yifan ), so there are bound to be at least three alarms on her phone on her bedside table to wake her up in time for work. she's the one who cooks cereal in the mornings ( yeah, she doesn't really pay attention ) but ends up having yifan throw breakfast bars at her head before rushing to work. on days off, she likes to go to chinatown that's near where they live and just try to master the chinese language and get some good "homemade" food every so often. most of the time, her and yifan go to chinatown for actual meals, some of the times, they go grocery shopping on the weekends and try to figure out what they can actually cook together that's decently healthy ( because they're both "health freaks"not really. )
