favorite concept : shimin liked party's concept the best. she loved every single song in the album, even though there were only three songs, and felt like it was more of what she'd like to sing if she had the chance. it's also simply upbeat, gives off the feeling of constantly moving.
least favorite concept : honestly, she didn't really like the concept of tell me your wish (genie) at all. there's just something about it, not liking that it sounded like she had to be every boy's ideal girl, and that annoys her to the highest extent. (and every other super girly concepts, for the most part.)

songs they may have written : light me up was pretty much the only song she's contributed the most for so far, with helping out for the lyrics and production for pat pat.

activities they would be interested in : shimin is definitely interested in songwriting and producing. she feels like she can contribute more to these than the others because she believes she's more open-minded to trying new genres. she doesn't mind trying choreography or modeling but knows she doesn't have the experience like her other bandmates to contribute as much as she'd like. she feels like she would be awkward in acting, mcing, and variety only because of her height and the fact she feels awkward being by herself and is brand new in the acting field, though she wouldn't mind trying it if given the chance.

thoughts on stardust : shimin believes that the people chosen for stardust were chosen for a reason, even the managers and their labelmates. she likes to think it's fate because nobody else could've made the group what it is today. it would be weird to think of somebody else in their family and she treasures her group members and managers for that.

for their overall sweet concept, shimin honestly thought it wasn't going to be to her style. she thought it would be difficult and awkward for her to keep to the concept because she thinks she's more of a tomboyish type of person than a sweet girl, and especially being the oldest and already wanting to break out of the innocent type of aura. but luckily for her, she's had help from her best friend and group members like yuni to make the entire concept more bearable for her.

debuting feels foreign to shimin, to say the least. she's always heard she's slated for debut, already going to be in the spotlight no matter what, but still being on the stage and performing for others and having fans call out her name makes it feel like a dream. it's surreal and if they ever have their first concert, that'll probably be the only time she'll cry in front of people.

behavior : awkward.

      ( Aria : Kim Aeri )     

thoughts & opinion : honestly, shimin thought aeri had a pretty name and a pretty face, and she was surprised with how open aeri seemed to be when they first met. it was probably due to aeri coming from america, but min thought she was interesting and fun all around. now, min thinks of aeri as a same-age friend even if they're not born in the same year. she feels like she can relate to aeri more because they're both from different countries and have different opinions and cultures compared to the rest of south korea. though miok technically was raised in japan, it doesn't really feel the same compared to her and aeri.
 

behavior : compared to aeri, min seems a bit more reserved though they do tend to talk a lot more than they give off. if min isn't being glued to any of the other younger members' sides during shows, promotions, etc, min is probably hanging around aeri because she feels like she can get a break with her and just talk if it's needed or not. sometimes, they're even shipped together because of how often they're found together. min doesn't feel the need to constantly take care of her like the others and it's refreshing on a whole new level.

      ( Mio : Ahn Miok )     

thoughts & opinion : min felt awkward with miok at first, mostly because she couldn't figure out if miok was a foreigner like her or not and from where exactly. it wasn't until a proper introduction sometime later that min realized that miok is actually korean and speaks it fluently. min feels like their entirely relationship was awkward because of the beginning but has since moved away from that and thinks miok is actually really endearing and sweet. now, min thinks of miok as a clumsier version of yeoreum and she has her hands full when they're both together and talking up a storm. together, both miok and yeoreum are like her overly talkative children and she gets tired just thinking about them sometimes (in a fond, affectionate way).
 

behavior : sometimes, min sees a younger version of herself in miok. she doesn't know if it's the knowledge that miok had moved to different countries when she was younger or if it's because of something else, but min tries her best to support miok and encourage her in every way she can. she'll check up on miok if there's a comeback around the corner and likes to treat her as an equal in the sense that she understands the insecurities and critiques that come with being in a girl group in a high demand business. she'll try to help her as much as miok helps min.

      ( Chaewon : Kwon Chaewon )     

thoughts & opinion : min really didn't have an opinion of chaewon when they first met. she just thought chaewon was another girl accepted to train in the company. but as she got to know her, she was amused by how easy it is to read her expressions and gestures and loving as to how she reacted with certain people. then as time went on and they debuted together, min could easily see how certain comments affected chaewon and thought that she's truly a soft-hearted girl despite whatever image she brings to the stage.
 

behavior : if min isn't found with aeri, she's usually found with chaewon, seeing that they are roommates as well and pretty much know each other more than anyone else. min treats chaewon like a younger sister and has learned how to act and react whenever chaewon isn't feeling too great. though not as energetic as yubi and miok, chaewon still has the tendencies to be quite the handful if min isn't prepared for it. but she still adores her and helps chaewon out whenever she needs it, usually not needing much verbal cues to playfully or encourage her during the right times. min also appreciates that chaewon will listen to her complain or anything about the stresses she has to handle, and will usually be the first to turn to despite chaewon being the second youngest of the group.

      ( Evie : Choi Yubi )     

thoughts & opinion : to say the least, min was actually really interested yet confused about yubi. yubi is more reserved but had this strange aura around her that min couldn't seem to wrap her head around. she thought she was cool in the sense that min wished she could be as level-headed as her in tough situations and just seemed to act more mature than min thinks she herself should be. but as min (probably) approached her, she feels like she and yubi became close quickly because of their seemingly similar personalities. min treasures yubi as she would a younger sister or daughter and always tries to watch out for her and talk things out with her when situations get tough for her. min feels like a proud mother whenever she sees yubi doing something for herself and always cheers her on to the best of her abilities, even one of min's favorite songs from their albums is because of evie's multiple raps in it.
 

behavior : even if both min and yubi act like their the mothers of the group from time to time, they tend to mostly act like sisters when they're together. nobody would expect them to be four years apart in age and it makes min amused when others hear that and are surprised by it. min loves to support yubi in whatever she does and tries to show it too with sns posts and going during busy schedules for whatever solo activities yubi has.

      ( Yuni : Kim Yeoreum )     

thoughts & opinion : to be honest, min is honestly surprised and was extremely tired when she first met yeoreum. min tends to be more reserved when meeting somebody, but with yeoreum, it was a drastic change, not that it was completely a bad thing. it was quick and easy to find a balance between them as min tends to listen more while yeoreum talks, and over the time they spent together, it's easy for anyone to tell that min appears as the older sister who might or might not spoil her younger sister yeoreum compared to the rest.
 

behavior : min enjoys yeoreum's energy, but sometimes it gets to be too much and she doesn't really know how to handle it. sometimes she'll just stop talking and try to follow whatever yeoreum's saying but others, she'll simply catch every other word and try to smile and nod at the appropriate times. other times, min feels like a grandmother compared to yeoreum, standing in the back of the group quietly and watching yeoreum flutter around like a butterfly with the rest of the group.

      ( Manager Park : Park Seojun )     

thoughts & opinion : honestly, the first meeting with seojun wasn't anything exciting. it was only after she found out his family background and how he was given the position as their manager that she started to feel annoyed with him. everything simply gets handed to him while min has had to work hard to get where she is today. it caused unnecessary friction from her part and may have caused some conflicts initially, but she learned to tolerate it and simply do business with him - only talking to him when it's needed for the group. but after a while, min comes to understand that seojun actually does quite a lot for their group when he could've simply treated them as employees who work under him. now, she's come to tolerate him a lot more and appreciate what he does for them. she's even realized how odd the man can be and secretly, not-so-secretly, adores him because of it.
 

behavior : initially, min was completely awkward and standoff-ish with seojun. she didn't like the idea that everything came easy to him, so she made sure to make things difficult for him if she could ever allow it. but as time went on and now, min actually feels close enough to start messing with seojun about his background and personality. she gets onto him about working hard to get what he wants and truly treats him like an older brother who she bickers with but still respects him because he treats them right. he does his job well and she's taken notice of it.

      ( Manager Oh : Oh Sora )     

thoughts & opinion : min thought sora was one of the kindest persons she could ever meet. she also thought sora was cute and was pleased to see how affectionate she was with them. and after finding out sora seemed to look like a younger sister to seojun too, she and min made an unspoken agreement to treat him like the older brother he is and bother him from time to time together.
 

behavior : min treats sora like she's the older sister she never had but secretly sort of, kinda wanted. she treats sora respectfully and tries to help out with things she can, like trying to make hers and seojun's loads less by keep up with schedules and not forgetting about it, but also goes to her for any types of advice. sometimes though, they do tend to get into minor conflicts because even sisters get into fights at times. they make it up though because sora is affectionate and min feels guilty.

      ( Ms. Nam : Nam Hyeri )     

thoughts & opinion : shimin was intimidated by ms. nam at first, knowing she was the ceo and personally choosing them to join the company. she was more quiet than usual but has since come out of her shell around her, mostly anyways. now, she thinks as hyeri as an aunt-type figure affectionately, close to her but not too close.
 

behavior : min's odd side comes out a lot more when she's around hyeri. she can't explain it, but it must be her age in making weird comments and jokes. despite this though, min respects hyeri to the highest extent and thinks of herself as a lowkey fan of the ceo, because she gave her this chance to debut and seems to treasure her just as equally. she likes talking about the future with hyeri but even more so talking about the now and plans about everything.

      ( Axis : The First Boy Group )     

thoughts & opinion : min thought of axis as just another bunch of guys. though some did give off a more distant feeling than others, min treated them as aquaintances and then friends and even closer as time went on. she's even developed a crush on one of them and likes to bother another. now, she sees most of them as brothers and some of the closest friends she could ever have.
 

behavior : finally, another person born in 1991! min was happy to hear that hers and sunho's birth years are the same and she likes how open and playful he can be (she tends to play with him back, unknowingly). it makes him comfortable to approach and min appreciates that since it seems to be a nice change compared to other people. she'd like to say they're good friends, someone he can always go to if he has any problems or concerns, and he'd probably be one of the people she'd go to if she wants advice with variety shows or anything like that.

min clings onto alex like he's her lifeline sometimes, only because he understands her plight of not being able to understand every single thing someone says in korean sometimes. it's difficult for them to communicate too at times, but min knows enough english to actually have a decent conversation with him. she tries to teach him chinese too because-- zhang. you have to be able to speak understandable chinese at some point.

for jaehyun, min isn't sure what to think. she did hear down the vine that he was in the line-up for exo (courtesy of minseok and/or lu han), but that was all she heard before she actually met him at amour. she thinks he's a nice guy, somewhat opposite to what she's heard and seen of his older brother, but she thinks they get along well enough.

to be completely honest, min may or may not have a crush on hiro, simply for the fact of his passion and complete adoration with the company and stardust itself. he's ideal in that he's most protective and dependable in the company and she truly feels like she can lean on him (figuratively and literally) when times get tough. and they tend to flirt(???) and play around a lot, intentionally or unintentionally, no one knows. in short, min likes hanging around with him because they're always having a good time and laughing, despite other times when they talk about the serious stuff that comes with being leaders and hardships (and then teasing about his crush on mio, how cute!).

noah is an interesting guy through and through. if min wants information on something, she typically goes to him first to get the inside scoop. if min just wants someone to be around with just to be around with someone, she goes to noah, though it's never usually the best choice considering she has many other people she could be around instead. it's weird. they're weird together.

min has a soft spot for all the youngest members in all the groups under amour - it's probably because she's a leader and the eldest - so it's really no surprise she treats minsoo the same way she treats yeoreum or any other babies. she watches over him quietly (and/or obnoxiously) like a mother and is always there if he needs anything. sometimes, they get told they act alike and are siblings because of their loyalty and observant nature (and the fact he can really act like a little brother to her at times later on).

      ( Alice : The Second Girl Group )     

thoughts & opinion : honestly, min had a slightly negative view about alice when she first heard about them, "sm is debuting another girl group so soon?" but only hearing they were from sm entertainment, didn't have much promotions, and left due to some reason usually isn't the best way to hear and meet a completely new group. min was quick to understand their situation though, learning about sm's process and witnessing how badly they treat some groups while ing others into the spotlight. but meeting them individually wasn't as exciting or traumatizing as she originally thought. it seemed like a normal meeting for the most part, and min thinks of them as friends now (also maybe more than friends as they can complain about sm together even if min never formally trained with them).
 

behavior : with sky, min feels like she's finally found one of a few others who understands her plight of being a leader. but unlike sky, min hasn't had the displeasure of leading a group where they've all decided to leave a company with their status up in the air until they came to amour. even if min is a year older, it still feels like they're same-aged friends with similar responsibilities so they may be found together complaining and/or being awkward with for whatever reason min feels slightly uncomfortable for.

clarissa is a different story and min takes an instant liking to her when they first meet. she strangely likes being around the other because of her loud personality and treats her like a wild daughter, though she doesn't know how accurate that analogy is (which is probably a lot). it becomes a mess when clarissa hangs out with stardust but maybe that's why min has taken a liking to her, because she reminds her of her own members. (though, it does stress min out sometimes when she's near clarissa and she tends to stay away during those times because she can't handle it anymore.)

jinah is actually pretty similar to clarissa for min, though maybe on a less flamboyant, loud scale. honestly, min doesn't understand how sky can handle jinah and clarissa in one group but then she realizes she has her own in the form of yuni and mio. with jinah, min also acts like a (billionth) mother and tends to watch out more for her in comparison to clarissa because jinah is careless.

despite luzy being the youngest and actively acting like a child sometimes, min thinks there's more maturity in her than she would've expected at first. it's probably due to the fact that luzy already has had a taste of the spotlight and has been subjected to the 'need' to grow up early for the public eye. but other than this, min tries to take care of her like she does for her own youngest member.

 

notable relations : clarissa and jinah (or sky and clarissa, if that works better)

      ( Imbue : The Second Boy Group )     

thoughts & opinion : min thinks the entirety of imbue is cute, based on looks and even personality. though she was put off by seth most of all, she has come to appreciate them and their hard work into debuting despite rumors floating around that they're 'leftovers' as others put it.
 

behavior : min honestly wouldn't expect peyton and sky to date but there they are and it's the cutest relationship alive because peyton was a huge fanboy of sky when she was in paradox but now they're dating, and min thinks it honestly can't get any better than that. sometimes, min likes to tease peyton about it from time to time and she treats him like an equal, considering they're both leaders. sometimes, she'll ask him for advice (especially since he's a guy and... guy problems), though it's not ideal half the time.

first of all, seth was one of the only people who put min off during her entire trainee period. but then the only reason she got to know more about him is because of whatever complicated relationship he has with feli. though, seth is kind and courteous, knowing his manners and everything, so min can't really complain much, only when feli is complaining too. she does like to try and open him up though, tends to poke him and ask questions she knows she'll never really get any deep answers from. at this point, she thinks of it as a game to see how much she can get out of him and make the worst jokes in history with him.

min thinks of junseok as an affectionate puppy, always cooing at him and treating him a bit more differently than the rest. because of his affectionate nature, she has no problems being affectionate with him back, mostly seeing him as a little brother to her she likes to dote on whenever she can.

if min thinks of junseok as an affectionate puppy, she thinks of myungsoo as a quiet puppy. he's one of the youngest singers she knows by far and tends to forget that most of the time until something slips and she's reminded that he's still practically a young child (though not really). she doesn't dote on him as much as junseok or give as much attention as hojun and set, but she does like to try and keep an eye on him and help him if anything happens. she probably considers him like a (distant?) son at this point in their lives.

      ( Feli : Felicity Kwon )     

thoughts & opinion : min thought felicity is one of the prettiest girls she's ever seen, awed by her beauty and then blown away by her voice. and because of this, min was actually a little intimidated by the young girl with the foreign name. it also didn't help that they are both introverts and therefore didn't really have much to say when they first met each other. but as time went on and were originally part of per6 and per7 together, they started to think of each other as two of the closest friends anyone can get. there is a four year , but they don't even realize it when they're together. min was disappointed when she heard felicity didn't make it into stardust but was ecstatic to hear and see she debuted as a soloist instead.
 

behavior : min treats felicity like she treats minseok from exo. min can be around her absolute self with felicity, feels like she's able to tuck away her leader title for a few minutes, and just be with felicity and talk about the earth and sky and in-between. it's strange because they're not in the same group, but min doesn't have that lingering thought in the back of her head that says she needs to be the mother and the leader and everything else being the eldest and the more responsible of the group brings. though, she will definitely treat felicity like one of her younger members if the need comes. sometimes, min even likes sharing and buying couple items with felicity too. she knows it gets lonely being a soloist sometimes so she likes to try and make it up to felicity and let her know she can lean on her too.

thoughts & opinion : of course, shimin was intimidated by muse at first, simply because muse has had the experience and authority to critique min to the highest extent. but as they continue to work together, min comes to welcome muse's critiques and strives to work harder to impress her. she likes to think of think of muse as a strict older friend or sister.
 

behavior : min treats lihua with respect anytime they're together, but sometimes, lihua tries and tells min that she can treat her like a friend if they're not doing work. min likes to go to lihua when it comes to missing china and home because she feels like lihua understands her more about it than anybody else. she gets a bit of home with her and min treasures lihua for it. other than that, they're literally the same age so sometimes they can get a bit crazy when they're together, spouting off chinese and random raps at the most random times.
