On the outside, many may assume Sanghyun as the quiet, manly type of young man since he rarely shows his dorky side in front of the camera. If there's a question asked to the group on who is the most different person on and off camera, it would be Sanghyun, definitely. This young boy is actually very bright inside and in the times when the group faces difficulties, he would be the one that stays positive and lifts everyone's spirit up. His positivity was what that made Sanghyun got chosen as the leader of the group.

Despite of his cheerful and dorkiness among the members, Sanghyun would act differently when it comes to working and BRASS. This young leader would almost change completely for the times like practicing and stuffs but he will keep it more to be of a lenient leader most of the time. However, do not test his patience since he is not the type to get angry that easily but once he does, you will wish would never be near him at that moment.

Another thing about him is that he loves art very much. This young man spends most of his time off work by drawing off anything that would pop up in his mind at the time. He even wished he would open up a gallery of his own drawings one day.

Sanghyun is actually an A blooded person when many would guessed he is O blooded. His timidity would show up usually after he got angry since he would feel guilty to the one he got mad at for some unknown reasons. Sanghyun is a very nice, polite young man especially to people older than him, making him having many noona fans for being such a sweet boy.

Sanghyun has an elder brother and a younger sister that also involve in music. His elder brother is currently a model (ulzzang) and also a backup dancer for one of the largest entertainment company in Seoul. Meanwhile his younger sister is currently in Seoul Art High School, and intended to pursue her studies in music later on. Both his parents love to see their children involving themselves in music and he got the full support from them.

While Sanghyun was in his high school, he happened to see a poster of a singing competition and decided he would join it. In the end, he won the singing competition and was offered to be a trainee of one of the well known entertainment company in Korea, CUBE Entertainment. After two years of being a trainee under CUBE Ent, Sanghyun was transfered to JYP Ent, to debut in a debuting group named BRASS.

Mark is considered as someone that is quite calm though he can somehow cheerful whenever he's with Sanghyun. Being a year older than Sanghyun, he is seen as someone that is more mature when he is being compared to his best friend. Mark is also known for his wise words and his ability to talk in a professional way spontaneously. He is currently the main rapper and the main dancer, as well as the visual for the group under the same company as BRASS, that is GOT7.

Not only that, Mark actually loves composing music very much. It is much known to everyone that Mark is not good in expressing himself to others and so he finds another way to express his feelings through the songs that he composes. This young boy was born in California, USA and is very fluent in English.

 

background:

Mark is the main dancer, main rapper, vocalist and visual to the group GOT7 under JYP Entertainment. He was casted into the company while he was still in the States and then came back straight to Korea. Mark trained for almost 4 years before finally debuting in GOT7.

While he was still a trainee and was preparing to debut with GOT7, he was told to help a very new trainee that came into the company, that was Sanghyun. The two became close to each other and it was then that the two became best friends and always hang out together. 

interactions:

Since their first meeting, Mark has already being attracted towards the cheerful side of Sanghyun. Sanghyun is the most hyper whenever he is with Mark since he thinks that only Mark understands him the most. Mark, on the other hand, would be the one feeling as if he is responsible on taking care of Sanghyun, since he was the one that is older than the other boy. Mark does not usually express his feelings well but as the two gets closer, Sanghyun managed to make Mark to always feel comfortable to let out his problems and feelings towards Sanghyun. Maybe it was Sanghyun positivity that made Mark decided to put his trust in the younger boy.

Soon, the feeling of brotherhood turned into something special and Mark later then knows that his feelings towards Sanghyun is not just because of the close friendship the two had since their trainee years. It is more than that.
